I would not come back here again. If you want pho, I would drive a little more to san bernardino to get some pho. First of all, we went here and the service was wild. Lady told us it would take 30 minutes to make congee. Then we ordered spring rolls, but she gave us fried rolls. My pho was decent. My friend got the beef dish which was fine and other one got banh mi. The price for everything was like 80-something dollars. I never in my life spent that much for 3 people at a pho restaurant. Pho - 4/5 stars Came with 5 friends, all of them ordered various types of pho. The broth came out really hot and they all enjoyed their orders. Bun Bo Hue - 3/5 stars I like my soup to be piping hot, but mine came out warm-hot, which was disappointing because it gets cooler once you add all the veggies. All my friends' pho broths were definitely a lot hotter (temperature wise) than mine. The broth was very red and oily, but was not spicy nor did it really taste like BBH. I asked if they had mam ruoc or mam tom (shrimp paste) because that would've helped the dish, unfortunately they didn't have any. With some lemon and chili from the table, it tasted better but still not like very authentic BBH. If you eat BBH often, you may be a little disappointed. But it wasn't bad if you're craving some noodles different than pho! Ca phe sua da (Vietnamese ice coffee) - 4/5 stars Great portion! I like how it comes in to go cups. It was strong but good, not too sweet. One of my friends got it with boba and she said the boba was alright Soda chanh (lemonade soda) - 5/5 stars Your standard lemonade soda. The perfect balance of lemony sour carbonation. I like that it was more on the sour side than sweet, as opposed to some restaurants that have a visible layer of sugar on the bottom. Good portion and I like how it was in a to go cup. Service - 5/5 stars Very attentive, friendly and quick service. I don't think Oak Glen is known for pho lol so I was pleasantly surprised with their food! They have Vietnamese and Chinese food here (another reason why I was suspicious lol)...we ordered pho, egg rolls, spring rolls, vermicelli and chow fun to share. My favorite was the chow fun...different but the noodles were chewy not soggy and the sauce was flavorful. It wasn't mind blowing, but it was good enough that we didn't feel like we wasted our money here. Plus the owners were really nice. One of our go to spots. I love the barbecue pork and wonton soup with egg noodles. My husband orders the chicken pho. Also love the spring rolls and taro boba. We usually order to go or through Door Dash, but when I've gone in to pick up they've been nice and have good service. I like the murals on the walls. Sometimes parking is a bit time during busy hours. read more

I went to ocean pho last night, calling in advance to ask when they will take the last call to eat in. On the call I was told last call would be at 8, and arriving 5 minutes after the call (7:50) me and my family were greeted by the man behind the counter telling me they were closed. We explained we were told differently before arriving and it seemed to not matter. We decided to just ask for take out instead, and it seemed like they were annoyed with us even trying to order. Eventually we did get the food but we were given a lot of attitude upon ordering by the old man! Before leaving we made sure to ask for some chili oil and the grandpa told us that we had one in every bag (3) and that it's all we need. Always a reliable comfort food place for high quality Pho. Their soup is always rich and their ingredients fresh. My go-to restaurant when it's rainy and cold. They had recent renovations and the restaurant seems more spacey! The owner and servers are very nice and always make sure our food arrives in a timely manner. So my husband didn't realize that I had left a poor rating before and decided to give this place another try. The pho was good but the spring rolls were wrong. We order 2 orders of pork paste spring rolls and they did it again. Instead of letting us know they were out they thought we wouldn't notice that they substituted a roll with a slice of grill meat. This feels like a "hole-in-the-wall" family owned place, which is usually where you get the best Pho. I had the Pho Filet Mignon. They gave plenty of sprouts, Thai basil, and four jalapeño slices. I loaded it up with Sriracha and Hoisin sauce, and voila... I almost ate the entire bowl. I was so full! It was really good. I'll definitely visit again while I'm still in the area. I used to get my pho from panda max but I have this place a try and it's decent. Every time I order tho they bring me a bowl that doesn't have everything it's suppose to come with and I'm confused if the chili oil cost money. When I went with my bf it was $2 each but when I went with my family they gave me 6 chili oils free of charge and said it doesn't cost anything. Service is okay. I always feel rushed.
