154. B.B.Q. Beef Sandwich

Hamburger patty for beef banh mi... Bread was so flat, soft, white, looked like it was not baked. The bread was actually wet in both sandwiches I ordered so I had to get a refund.

Don't put vegan options when yall clearly don't even read orders and are not mindful of vegan orders. I ordered a veggie tofu sandwich and specifically put no sauce, and vegan and every allergy under the sun to be sure there wouldn't be any mayo or dairy on it. It arrived with mayo. Something easily avoidable by reading the ticket. People get SICK from digesting dairy, egg, meat, the least you can do as a business is treat vegans as serious as someone with an allergy.

great service, we stopped by on Christmas eve, I had the chicken pho, I rate it a 8/10. It was good, I would've liked a little more chicken. The shrimp spring rolls were good, 8/10. Very clean and our food was ready relatively quick.

Ordered #68, rice with sautéed diced filet mignon w/onion (French style). Soft and juicy beef. Flavor not as intense compared to same dish I've tasted before with other places. Same with my beef banh mi (French bread sandwich). Flavor of beef is very light and bread did not look & tasted like French to me. Veggies were crunchy as served fresh. Thai tea less sugary but good soft chewy boba made the drink still enjoyable. Warm welcome and accommodating service. Person helping us answered all our questions (first timer here). Place quiet and comfortable. Regular and handicap parking available right in front. No EV slot noticed. Accessible either from Alabama st. or Barton rd. In Redlands.

Pho with brisket, 80. Chicken Fried Rice

If you're looking for the best pho in town, look no further. I've been coming to this spot for almost six years, and it never disappoints. The food here is simply AMAZING, nothing compares to the rich, flavorful broth and the freshness of the ingredients. Every dish is made with such care that it feels like a warm hug in a bowl. The service is consistently friendly, and the staff always go out of their way to make you feel welcome. It's clear they genuinely care about their customers. On top of that, the restaurant is spotless, which always gives me peace of mind. The environment is calm and inviting, making it the perfect place to enjoy a quiet meal or catch up with friends. The location is also super convenient, which is just another reason I keep coming back. The service is impressively fast too--you'll never wait long, even during the lunch rush. This place has truly set the bar for pho. I recommend it to everyone I know. After nearly six years of loyalty, I can confidently say this is a hidden gem that deserves all the praise! I recommend the Fried Chicken Wings, ANY Pho but chicken and brisket are my favorite, all the fried rice are amazing, the beef spring rolls are to die for!!

3. Filet Mignon Pho

This place has lots of booth options and atmosphere is nice and peaceful We ordered a filet mignon pho and a French style beef with no onion. The menu advertised it only came with onion but then they added bell pepper to the plate. I think it was because the portion of beef was not generous in my opinion. My pho was good. The beef was not. The meat did not taste fresh and had underlying tastes of iron. This pho place was just okay. I would only come back here if it was convenient and I would only order pho dishes

Filthy bathroom door

Dirty place. Coming from pest control industry I'm well aware that if the areas in public view aren't clean then you can multiply the level of dirtiness in inaccessible areas such as the kitchen by 10. The condiment plates, the walls of the tables, walls at rear by bathroom, the bathroom walls and fixtures and floors were gross. Clearly had not been cleaned regularly. Patron beware of where you eat when the owners don't care about what we see.

It was somewhat of a sad occasion when I last returned here--this time alone--because I had very recently learned that my long-time friend, retired court commissioner, former fellow Deputy D.A., and weekly lunch companion for exactly fifty years had just passed away only a few days before. For five decades we had alternated in choosing restaurants, and this Ocean Pho was one of our staples. So, in honor of my departed friend, I chose to dine here alone, with him in mind. I opened with two Vegetarian Egg Rolls, which were okay but not as tasty as in the past. Dipped in a light Sweet & Sour Sauce, they were made more flavorful. My chosen entree of Filet Mignon Pho was the best I remembered here: well-seasoned broth featuring an excellent cut of perfectly lean Filet Mignon, Green Onions, White Onions, and well-prepared Pho Noodles. A few Jalapenos added some spice, and accompanying Bean Sprouts a nice crunch. There was an ample amount of everything: steak, noodles, and broth. For good measure, I added a few drops of Soy Sauce. Service was very good. An Iced Tea was very tasty, and I was given a complimentary refill to go. It was very hot outside, but eating hot Pho inside on such a day was still quite enjoyable--although less so dining without my good friend. XXXX-1/2 Stars Overall!

Early lunch on 03/02/25 (we were the first ones there when they opened). Ordered appetizers, noodles, and pho. Staff was friendly and attentive and the food was good. I have eaten here before but this is my first review. Everything we had was delicious.

I have not been eating inside the rest. Or dining in. So I can't really make a comment regarding the service. The restaurant it self is clean, brightly lit and spacious. We ordered to go alot in the past. Picking up our orders were a breeze. Friendly host to help us. Food is not bad at all. Flavorful and the portion is just right. Just glad to have another variety of Vietnamese cuisine nearby.

A-1. Egg Rolls So burnt with soot all over them. Clean your fryer!
Sarah O.

Do yourself a favor and read their health inspection. It just seems like they don't care about food quality. We picked up our food order and the egg rolls were so burnt and had soot from the fryer all over them.

They're obsessed with the pho and the rice dishes, and they lovingly call pho "white noodle," which isn't technically correct... but it is adorable. There's something comforting about this place...warm bowls, familiar smells, and that instant inhale-exhale when the food hits the table. I absolutely love Vietnamese food! Lately I've been locked into #34 Cơm Bì Chả Thịt Nướng. That BBQ pork paired with the shredded pork and the mystery meat loaf situation? I don't ask questions. I just eat. Every bite hits...savory, slightly sweet, deeply satisfying. No notes. The Vietnamese Iced Coffee with condensed milk is jet-engine fuel. One glass and suddenly you're operating at 200% productivity, answering emails, solving life's problems, maybe even reorganizing your pantry (I can attest to this). Meanwhile, my husband has been the most adventurous eater here -- Bo Luc Lac, fried chicken dishes, BBQ chicken rice, cha gio (those chicken egg rolls are SO GOOD). He hasn't missed yet. If you ever want to find us on a Saturday, just stroll into Pho Ha. We'll be there -- slurping noodles, sipping coffee, and thanking the universe for good food and amazing broth.

Prices on the soup noodles bowls are comparable to other pho spots around Redlands, ranging between $16.45 - $16.95 for a regular bowl, and $17.45 - $17.95 for a large bowl. If you're just needing a large bowl of hot soup and rice noodles, it's $9.50 plus tax. The regular sized bowl is $8.50 plus tax. Your order comes with a small bag of fresh bean sprouts, basil, cut limes, and chopped green onion/cilantro. Plenty of Hoisin sauce and spicy chili sauce are also provided along with utensils. The broth is quite comforting. Garnished with thinly sliced white onions and not too salty, not very sweet. Many other pho spots around town are heavy on the salt and add so much sugar to "balance" it. After taking those home, I have had to water it down a bit. Pho Viet makes theirs just right. If I have extra broth, I save it to rewarm and sip in a mug. Saw they also have a wide menu to choose from for dry noodle bowls (vermicelli bowls), rice plates, rice/egg noodle soups, appetizers, and vegetable dishes. Not sure if the vegetable dishes are also vegan. I'd love to try out their sandwiches sometime. Wonder if they bake their own bread, too. They offer four kinds, charbroiled pork, charbroiled beef, charbroiled chicken, and fried tofu.

For a Saturday at 4:30pm, we were seated and waited on immediately. The menu was expansive and I was surprised with the amount of vegetarian options for a Chinese restaurant. Our server was helpful in suggesting various fish options and knew their wait times. Some notable dishes were the sizzling beef with black pepper, beef scallion rolls, honey walnut chicken, mapo tofu, and fried chicken. The dishes that could be improved for flavor were the vegetarian steamed dumplings, steamed whole fish, and beef chow fun. We probably ordered around 8-10 plates (all dishes came with rice) and many arrived at the same time. The prices were very reasonable for the portions and it was just enough for everyone. Since we had a birthday celebrant, they were able to put our personal cake in the fridge. Our server provided a complimentary matcha cheesecake and candle towards the end of our meal. His robot server sidekick also sang happy birthday! I did feel like they were understaffed because the lobby hostess had to find the server for me several times when I asked for our cake and the check. Overall, it's a great place for large groups and celebrations.

When we arrived, the hostess attempted to seat us at a table that would not have comfortably accommodated our group. I politely asked if we could be seated at a nearby table that had more space. In response, she rolled her eyes and let out an audible sigh, which felt unprofessional and dismissive. When we were eventually seated at the requested table, she placed the menus down abruptly and did not hand one to me directly, instead leaving it at the end of the table. The interaction came across as unnecessarily rude and, frankly, not in line with the level of service I would expect from a hostess. That said, I want to note that the rest of our experience was positive. Our server was friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service throughout our meal. The food itself was also very good (I would not recommend the orange chicken though) and something I would return for. I hope management takes the opportunity to address the front-of-house experience, as first impressions matter and can significantly impact a guest's overall perception. (She was white and had unique, colorful, round glasses)
