The staff--Kevin & Noah--were both incredibly helpful. The not only helped us pick out colors/best paint type, they were able to scan and match a chip we peeled off of a door frame (per their suggestion at our first visit) for touch-up painting, which saved us a lot of time and hassle. Service was friendly and truly hard to beat. Location itself is a nice place to shop--new and immaculate. They even have a Keurig station for free coffee/tea (and a nice water cooler) for while you wait, which I certainly availed myself of as they were mixing up our paint. One thing to keep in mind is that I thought it seemed a smidge pricier than other larger/chain/paint shops (of course, it's been a while since we painted, so perhaps that's just normal now). However, I did catch a sale, and the shopping experience and convenient, local location made any small, extra expense well worth it to me.

Never coming back here, and I literally live a block away. I would give a 0-1/2 star review if possible.

Service: Disorganized and unsettling. Staff behavior raised serious red flags -- not the kind of…read moreenergy I'd expect in a professional environment. Selection: On paper it looks like there's plenty, but in practice it felt mismatched and suspicious. Things didn't line up with what you'd expect for a business of this size. Value: Honestly questionable. For a storefront that supposedly pulls in big revenue, the customer traffic and overall quality don't add up. It makes you wonder what's really going on behind the scenes. Other notes: The building setup itself feels off -- housing units crammed right above the storefront, which doesn't exactly inspire confidence in safety or standards. Overall, this place left me with an uneasy impression I wouldn't want anyone else to deal with.

I need smaller pieces of wood to put under my AC window unit and Brooklyn Hardware Supply had exactly that. Home Depot in the city will not cut lumber, and Lowe's in Brooklyn won't cut lumber as small as I needed it. This place had perfectly cut planks, $2 each. The staff was friendly, eating breakfast as I was making my transaction but helpful nonetheless. Plus it's in walking distance! I'm not sure I'd recommend traveling for this shop.
