I went there and the sales guy answered all of my questions and let me try things and test them out. The item I purchase was leaking and I called the store right before closing. I returned the item on Monday and the young man that helped me Saturday wasn't there but he told his brother I would be returning. The brother offered to exchange the item or a full refund. He told me he didn't need my receipt and gave me a full refund. Although this purchase didn't work out for me, I'll will continue to give them my business in the future.

You can order anything online or to be delivered by many suppliers but if you need it today and you can go pick it up, go to Everwood. I needed bendy plywood in a pinch and everyone told me to order it from the usual suppliers. I went to Everwood to get drawer slides and I just asked if they had bendy plywood expecting them to say no and I was pleasantly surprised when they had it in stock. If you want general household supplies (light bulbs, etc.), they'll have it. If you need to get your bike repaired, they can do that. If need keys cuts, they've got you. All in all they're great for all purpose hardware needs. Prices are reasonable across the board. Selection of basic items (screws, brushes, etc.) is better actually than a lot of other stores for practical purposes, and they can accurately advise you on actually performing basic tasks unlike most places. I highly recommend them over the place up the block. Don't let the rough exterior give you pause; these guys will treat you right.
