    Where's the tuna?
    Michelle A. M.

Usually a food is very good, today it was horrible. I ordered a tuna sandwich among other items to go. I received a salad with American Cheese and practically no tuna salad. Right into the garbage! What an absolute waste of my time and money. Check your food before you leave, fast service but maybe too fast? * cheese is not on the menu and is was not requested

Great place! Fresh healthy food choices. I had the Grilled Chicken Salad and Carrot Ginger Soup, the wife had the Vietnamese Salad.

I love their chicken summer roll with their peanut sauce! They have a good selection of soups and a chili that people love. Service isn't great here. They tend to be in their own world on their phones and eating. You often have to find them for your bill. There are 2 waitresses in their late 20s or early 30s I really like but the younger girls are very inattentive. Prices are very reasonable and fair. I highly recommend stopping by if you are in the area, they have multiple locations.

Great little place in the West End section of long Branch. Decided to check it out on a recent trip to visit my niece. I started off with a bowl of split pea soup, which is a favorite. It was delicious! Nice & thick, not runny. I decided to try their chicken chili as well. It was very good as well. These ladies were quite busy with takeout orders in between waiting the tables. It's obvious the locals love it here. I will be returning.

    Pad Thai with tofu!!

A cute little cafe by Long Branch beach. Just up the road from pier village! I went here for lunch with some friends after a nice day at the beach! Great service and seating. But the food is a little off. NOTE: I went here a year ago, not sure if they have changed their recipes/method of cooking!! I ordered a pad thai with tofu! It was a little funky, but I tried to like it. Wasn't bad, but just... interesting. First, they didn't even use the right noodles (rice noodles). Not sure what noodles they used but it was too sticky and not right. Overall, the ingredients were okay. Had the usual stuff you found in pad Thai like carrots, onions, and bean sprouts, but also some other stuff like fried onions which I liked. The off part was that the dish was unusually sweet. I thought it was just me but I asked my friends who got wraps and their food was a little too sweet too. I know I came into an American place ordering pad Thai, so I didn't have the highest expectations but dang. It was really weird. Wouldn't order again. After finding out and trying some of my friends' food was sweet too not sure if I would come back for the food. I would come back for the juices, drinks and stuff like that. 3 stars because they were really nice and very spacious. Food wasn't necessarily bad too.

A healthy food oasis in the middle of a deep fried food waste land. I especially love the shrimp and chicken rolls.

My favorite thing that I like to get are their breakfast tacos. The tacos are filled with tofu scramble and topped with chili, a cheese-like sauce, and a slice of avocado. I don't know what it is, but I smash these tacos every single time I get them. They are so good! I honestly can't speak on much else because I get the same thing every time. Also, I buy one or two of their pressed juices. They make these in advance and are bottled. For the summer season, they have a juice that consists of strawberries, basil, beets, and more that is so very good. If you're looking for a place to get your vegan fix, this is the one.

We went to Simply Greek a couple times prior and loved the freshness of the food, the decor and the Owner and staff. On 12-13-25 we had the party and had 38 people attend The owner (Theo) really did such a great job in taking care of everything. The food was a 5 plus !!! Everything was made fresh - from the hummus and pita, Calamari, zucchini chips, Greek Salad (appetizers) to the entrees - Grilled Salmon, Chicken Souvlaki, , Grilled Lamb Chops and the Gyro platter. At least 20 people (or more) raved about the food. (If you are thinking about planning a party, you really should consider this great restaurant) The deserts and coffee (including the Greek Coffee) was a delicious ending to the meal. The staff, including Faith (the head waitress) was extremely friendly and attentive. We couldn't ask for better service !!! If you're not familiar with Pier Village, it is located on the beach in Long Branch. The area is beautiful as your guests can browse the many stores if they get there early or want to stay a little longer. Thanks again Theo for helping to make Lisa's party one that we will all remember. Regards, Rich & Lisa B - West Long Branch

Since moving to upstate NY four years ago, I only get to Good Karma when visiting family in NJ. During our latest trip we stopped at Good Karma to pick-up dinner on the way to my parent's house. We ordered the Love Bowl, Gado Gado Salad, and the Live Nachos. Issues: 1) The Gado Gada salad was a big miss. It's supposed to include lettuce, tofu, cabbage, carrots, roasted peanuts, and a sesame seed mix. There was ZERO sesame seed mix and literally ONE roasted peanut. We had asked the tofu be swapped for beans, which did happen, but basically all my wife got was a salad with lettuce and beans. 2) Live Nachos: what a HUGE disappointment. I've had these a number of times in the past and was really looking forward to these. One of my favorite parts has always been the creamy cashew sour cream. THIS TIME, there was one small dollop of the cashew cream. We basically paid $15 for a box of seasoned lettuce with 8 nacho chips -- not nearly enough chips to even eat with our seasoned lettuce. The Love Bowl, fortunately, was on par with my past experiences. However, the experience still left me questioning whether it's worth returning to Good Karma next time.

Service is very friendly and has a local feel. Menu is extensive with multiple vegan options. 1. Buffalo wrap - not much buffalo but was flavorful and lots of veggies. Filling still and delicious 2. Brownie - delicious, heavy, took part of it home Overall loved the options, came out hot and will be back to try more!

This time we tried the fava dish, lentil salad, rice pudding, sausage appetizer and falafel. Surprised and delighted with how light and crispy the falafel was! We learned Egyptian falafel is made with fava beans and not chickpeas. The sausage appetizer came with a very flavorful tomato sauce for dipping homemade pita bread. Hummus was also very creamy and delicious. The evening was rainy and cold so we were the only customers making it feel very cozy. The owner and chef was accommodating and shared memories of growing up in Egypt. We enjoyed our time very much. I haven't had a chance to try their other items on the menu yet, mainly because I keep going back for the grilled chicken chimichanga. Let me just say, it is heavy, cheesy, saucy and satisfying!
