That said, the showroom itself was under construction during our visit, which made it feel a bit disorganized and difficult to compare the different cabinet styles and finishes. It wasn't the easiest shopping experience because many of the displays were incomplete and door samples were stashed in boxes on the floor. The cabinet displays that were available looked beautiful and appeared to be good quality. However, after comparing quotes from other local cabinet companies, we found their pricing to be on the higher side and not competitive enough for our project. Overall, we had a positive experience with the staff, but we hope the showroom will be easier to browse once construction is complete.

In September-October 2024, we trusted Tony, the owner of Capital Flooring, with a major renovation of our first home. Tony knew this was our family home and that we live here with our children, so we placed a great deal of trust in him and his company. Initially, we were thrilled with the results. Capital Flooring did beautiful work on our kitchen, bathroom vanities, tile floors, and vinyl flooring throughout our home. It truly felt like a dream come true. Unfortunately, just six months later, in April 2025, our vinyl flooring began shifting, lifting, and cracking. We contacted Tony immediately. He assured us that he stood behind his company and his product and that the issue would be fixed. The first repair did not take place until June 2025. During that visit, the installers attempted to address the flooring issues, but they also scratched the vinyl in other areas of our home. We reported the additional damage to Tony, and his team returned a few weeks later, toward the end of June, to address it. Unfortunately, the underlying flooring problem did not stay resolved. Several months later, the same issues began happening again. We contacted Tony and his team once more. They returned in March 2026, and Tony himself came to our home to see the problems firsthand. We appreciated him coming out personally and again believed that the issue would finally be resolved. Unfortunately, the latest repair attempt made the situation significantly worse. During that visit, the installer further damaged the flooring, broke our dishwasher, and damaged our kitchen cabinets--which were also designed and installed by Capital Flooring. We were left with additional damage to our home on top of the original flooring problem we had been trying to have corrected for nearly a year. Since that visit, we have spent months attempting to contact Tony to get these issues resolved. We have called and sent messages, but our attempts to communicate have largely gone unanswered. This is the part of our experience that is most disappointing. We did not expect perfection. We expected a company to stand behind the work and products it sold us. When the flooring began failing only six months after installation, we gave Capital Flooring the opportunity to make it right. We allowed their team to return to our home multiple times and continued trying to work with Tony rather than immediately taking our concerns public. Unfortunately, after multiple repair attempts, the original flooring problem remains unresolved, our home has sustained additional damage, and we have been unable to get a response from the owner. I am sharing our experience because prospective customers deserve to know that a beautiful renovation is only part of the equation. What matters just as much is how a company treats you when something goes wrong. We invested a significant amount of money and trust into our first home. We trusted Tony and Capital Flooring to do the job correctly and, when there was a problem, to stand behind their work. Sadly, that has not been our experience. Tony, I sincerely hope you see this review and choose to contact us. We are not looking for an argument or to damage your business. We have been trying to resolve this with you for months. We simply want the flooring issue corrected and the damage caused during the most recent repair addressed. Yep, I decided to start with the positive and in this case the GOOD is **insert drum roll here** Dang Nguyen! He was so patient and always had such a positive can-do attitude. Let me start from the beginning. I was feeling overwhelmed with my remodel. The contractor had done his best to replicate the cabinets I had, with the new ones. However, staring at the CAD rendering didn't put me at ease. Did I mention I am a type A personality. So the contractor, myself and Dang sat together and starting at one end of my kitchen going through to the very last cabinet. We looked at every single drawer and cabinet placement including where the appliances would go. I think I was bending their ear for at least an hour or so with constant questions. We double checked measurements, discussed inserts and if Dang needed clarification or if I had a concern Dang never rolled his eyes or tried to shut me up. He allowed me to "ask away" and never tried to scoot me out of the store. The fact that he was professional, patient, and created such a comfortable environment he deserves enormous recognition, respect, and a pay raise! When a cabinet or drawer didn't work out because of measurement changes, he always had a suggestion. For example, I don't cook but I love those pullout spice racks. You know, those narrow pullout drawers. I don't use them for spices but they are so helpful for other things. Another example is the stackable insert for the silverware drawer. I love gadgets so when I saw this in the show room, well of course this girlie needed to have it. I know it's not a new idea, but for me, and my 35 year old kitchen - it was a big deal and I am thrilled to say I love it. Another example, their showroom had at least 4-5 different trash bin drawers to chose from! What??? Now I am giddy with the idea that I don't need to put the trash bin under the sink. The BAD. For months, prior to selecting a contractor, my heart was set on the color "Sage" for my kitchen cabinets. Unfortunately 405 Cabinets & Stone didn't have that color selection. I was so impressed working with Dang, I actually changed my mind and went with a different color that is sold there. Am I sad about the color, I would be lying if I said no. But, once I make up my mind, I go all in. In this case all in means sage color accessories! My point here is turning a bad/sad experience, into a positive one. More importantly, I want to tell the store owner it was because of Dang, I ended up purchasing nearly everything at his store. Mirrors, bathroom vanities, hallway closet cabinets etc... The UGLY, two words Parking Sucks! (enough said) I hope this lengthy Yelp review is helpful - ask for Dang, and don't panic if you can't find a place to park. **insert smile here**
