First time I went there, I met a nice person, who introduced himself as the owner, and was really nice!! He easily convinced me to do an out-of-pocket repair as well. I had no problem - He/team did a great job. I am giving three stars because the receptionist was consistently curt and unwelcoming. Despite this, I was planning to bring in my second car for an estimate after the first repair was completed. However, after picking up my car, I called to get the contact information needed for my insurance claim. The receptionist was again so blunt and unpleasant to speak with that I decided not to bother him again--including asking my follow-up question about the second car. This place may actually be good for repairs, but I will not be returning because of how I felt every time I walked into the office.

I had a minor fender bender which…read moreresulted in a lot more damage than was visible from the scratched bumper and slight bend in the hood. The car is back, in perfect condition, looking better than ever. More importantly, their team was amazingly professional. When I first went to drop it off for our scheduled appointment, they warned that obtaining parts would take a while, and that I was in for a long wait. Dan came out to my car, did a thorough inspection of the damage, and made a list of parts he knew were going to be needed. He then sent me away and told me to bring the car back when the parts came in. When it was finally time to have the repair done, they kept me up to date on the progress, especially about their communications with my insurance company. Because of the extent of the damage, the adjuster had to make at least two supplements to the original estimate. In the end, the car was completed, but the insurance company wouldn't pay H&V the higher labor rate associated with electric vehicles. Dan and the team went for bat for me with the insurance company (along with my repeated, un-returned calls). The insurance company wouldn't budge, so H&V put it down as "lesson learned" and didn't charge me for the additional labor. I hope I never need to use their services again, but I won't hesitate to go back if I do, and will tell anyone who asks about this. Clearly a family run business with a lot of integrity. Thank you Dan, Aimee, and the rest of the Hogan and Van team!

I followed my insurance company's recommendation and used Medford Auto Center for repairs on my…read moreelectric vehicle. Although they are certified to repair electric vehicles, they weren't able to (which is understandable) so they had it towed to a dealership for my make of car (also understandable). However, instead of towing it to one a few miles away in a neighboring town where we bought it, they towed it to LEOMINSTER, where it remains, three months later, at a shop that is barely working on it and hasn't figured out what's wrong with it. When I asked the guys why they had it towed to Leominster, they said that they had a relationship with them, which I'm sure is true, but is a terrible reason to send a car 50+ miles away to a shop that is unprofessional and won't complete the repairs in a timely manner. Initially, Medford Auto Group also tried to give me back the car when there was a warning message on the startup screen, telling me that it "should go away while driving" and to bring it back if it didn't. Well, it didn't go away, and instead I got stranded when the car wouldn't even open with the manual key and it had to be towed again. That they were willing to say "hey good enough, don't worry about this warning light" and send me on my way with the car was pretty unprofessional. Because the car needed more work at that point, we had it taken directly to the dealership, but our dealer won't touch it because it was already taken to a different dealership, so back to Leominster it went. I have no doubt that if you have an uncomplicated repair this place can take care of it fine. But if it requires any kind of work outside their wheelhouse, expect them to prioritize their relationships over the customer experience.
