Great Italian meal, great pastas, the servive excellent. Thank you to management. We didn't have to wait too long. Neat place. Great place to enjoy a fantastic italian dish.

I have passed this place a thousand times on my way to work, as it's situated in a transitional building between the central Canary Wharf and the bridge to the south side, and I swear I never thought it would be THAT good!!! Main reason for my 'up till now prejudice' was the disgusting odour of cheese waste floating in the air every time I passed by and although I am a big cheese lover - it gave me nausea. Now, I am so grateful to have dined there!! Let me tell you why: The restaurant doesn't show it's hidden gem to the public much and the hidden gem is the inside of the square in which the restaurant is situated. I was so pleasantly surprised to find myself in a romantic, warm and elegant atmosphere which I totally did not expect. Candles, warmth, waiting staff speaking with an Italian accent - I automatically felt relaxed and the cheese waste odour was not there at all... The wine was of excellent quality and the dishes involved the restaurant's speciality mozzarella ( in various editions - mild, smoked or creamy) with grilled vegetables, fish or meat and variety of slow foods including local Italian meats and bread. And the pizza with Italian mushrooms and truffles ( save my soul) had a generous amount of mushroom and REAL truffles on top of it!!! The pizza itself was amazingly well made with perfectly baked edges.. I was so pleased with this place. Genuine, fresh, delicious and even healthy, as for Italian style, food plus very well presented. I must also say staff makes this place genuinely Italian!!! I'm coming back for more...

Fine place. I had the Caserecce with eggplant pesto and stracciatella. The sauce was good but pasta itself was slighlty overcooked (in fact it took quite some time to get it). Quite good view of the docks.

Fantastic small Italian restaurant inside a office building in Canary Wharf. The mozzarela is made fresh on premises and it is the best one I have ever had! The pizza is Neapolitan style so the crust not that crispy but it tastes really good. Ingredients are locally sourced, organic and very fresh. If I worked on this office daily it would be my place to eat. The sandwiches are very good but not as great as you would find in Italy, but still a great option!

Our starters: Mozzarella and Tomatoe salad mixed with the pizza bread

Absolutely amazing!!! Love the food The staff was a bit slow but all in one i had a wonderful evening Sweet atmosphere! We ate the bread with Tomatoes and mozzarella, the Tomatoe soup, the gnocci and ravioli and then we were full, but we still wanted to try the dessert so they directly prepared it for take away for us! Looooovely

An unexpected nice place for lunch in Canary Wharf. We went there thinking it would only be for tapas-like platters... However, we all enjoyed some great pasta or soup dishes, in a friendly atmosphere.

Pizza Al Tartuffe w buff mozz & ricotta w/Parma Proscuitto. I'm in heaven! Best fine dining on the go. The quality is matchless.

For those times you find yourself asking: "Where can I go to eat an entire ball of buffalo mozzarella?" This is the answer, my friend.

I came in for a pre-dinner drink and asked for a gin martini (which, for the record, is on the menu for a whopping 15 pounds). I asked if they could make it with Tanqueray and the man said sure. He said they didn't have any olive brine which I said was fine. He then asked if I was American (I am but just moved here) and he made a comment about how much Americans love martinis. I was like okay sure, but this can't be that strange here given London's reputation with gin. Anyway, I'll spare the details, but basically he makes me a martini. While he's making it, I notice he puts in a bizarre amount of dry vermouth (a lot) which I took as a miscommunication because I had asked for it dry and maybe he doesn't know that means light vermouth? I taste it and I KNOW it's horrible wrong. It occurs to me, several sips in, that he thinks Martini and Rossi dry vermouth = a martini....I'm drinking straight dry vermouth. I didn't finish it, overpaid for my glass of dry vermouth, and left. I've had a hard time finding a gin martini in london given the prevalent pub scene but this place had one on the menu! I wouldn't fault them if they didn't, but come on....that's pretty bad. Man was lovely otherwise this would be a hard one star review unfortunately.

It was loaded with fresh clams, garlic, and tomatoes. Delicious. My husband had a pizza with prosciutto and olives that was fantastic. We also shared prosciutto and melon that was really good as well. Had to look up the meaning of La Figa. And yes, it goes with the logo that is all over the restaurant. Not sure if the name is appropriate for the times.

Fortunately Carluccious was still open at the bleak hour of 22:00, which is apparently very late in London. A quick peruse of their dessert menu and we were set. The two of us ordered their Lemon Tart and Bread Pudding with Vanilla Ice Cream. The tart was very refreshing after a savory meal and the banana pudding was spot on, with the vanilla ice cream really kicking it up a notch. During our dessert time, we didn't feel rushed at all which made it a nice way to end the evening. If there is space, try to grab a seat near the large floor-to-ceiling windows. It made for great people watching for us. While we only ordered dessert, I would have liked to try some of their other main dishes. Everything was around £15 which seems pricey but the restaurant itself was spacious and had excellent mood lighting for a good night out.

Its not very quiet and gets quite busy during dinner.

For an appetizer please try the mushrooms, bruschetta, and caprese! All of these items were so delicious! Our waiter recommended us a delicious red wine which I believe was called Primitivo. I'm sure there are so many more amazing dishes at this cute Italian restaurant and I can't wait to come back to London to try more!
