Amazing Italian restaurant, a little off the beaten path! Across from the Marriott, we're staying at. We were outside, in a small patio area, perfect weather for it! The interior was very nice, but we wanted to take advantage of being outside! I had the Spinach Ricardo/tortellini, which was excellent! My wife had the Seabass, which was not only excellent, but very reasonably priced for Seabass! For dessert, we had Chocolate Fondant & Ice Cream... which was out of this world good!!! The service could not have been any better! Everything from being quickly seated to getting our food was done well! This is a very great cozy Italian restaurant. I witnessed many people getting pasta and it looked absolutely divine! I had the grilled salmon and green beans and olive tapenade. The salmon was a generous portion and cooked perfection. The green beans, sautéed and oil and delicious! The olive tapenade was perfect! Oh my goodness what a find. This Italian restaurant was just down the street from my hotel in West London and it was hands down, the best place I have eaten during this last trip. It has been over a year since I had eaten there but I still can't get over the meal and the excellent service. Next time I'm in London with the family I will be taking them here even if it's out of the way and not near any touristy locales. This definitely is a hidden gem. read more

A very cute and cozy atmosphere with eager service. A little delayed with service however- we had to ask to get water, they never offered more wine- they were very attentive as bussers but not really waitstaff if that makes sense. Our meals were good and well done overall. For a place literally next door to the hotel we were at- it was perfect. Recommend for small parties and convenience but don't go out of your way or with a large party without reserving. read more

LAME! Ordered takeaway twice. The pizza I picked up and carried across the street to the Marriott was ice cold. The second night we ordered pasta and side salads only to discover back in the hotel room that neither salad had any dressing, just bone dry greens. My wife returned and was told that "we don't dress takeaway salads." Worse, the staff gave her attitude when she asked for some balsamic vinegar and oil. Typically, I don't waste time calling out lame service, but we asked how the salads would be dressed when we ordered them and were told they'd have balsamic and olive oil. Perhaps Cacciari's on Pembroke is trying to save money on takeaway orders or maybe they just don't care? Either way I won't return and DO NOT RECOMMEND! read more

The food was authentic Roman inspired cuisine. The bread was fresh and fragrant with rosemary. The service was generally good, except there was a miscommunication in that were asked for the bread to come first and for the appetizer eggplant parm and pasta amatriciana to come out together. We rushed over at 10:30 to ask if we could be seated or place in order to go and they indicated that that is incorrect. They do not do room service until 11 PM only 10. Considering I am not the biggest fan of Italian food, I have to say, the food in this place really blew me away. It has the intimate setting of a higher-end restaurant without all the frills. It has an impressive pizza oven in the back so you can see all the delicious pizzas being cranked out every hour, with the added benefit of providing some warmth on colder nights, if you're lucky enough to sit near it. Contrary to what you might be thinking, however, pizza is not necessarily the best thing on the menu; though it's definitely up there in terms of size, quality, and taste. They also do some traditional Italian favorites like Chicken Milanese two ways, arancini, truffle pastas, calzones, seafood, and yes, dessert. "How traditional is it?" you ask. I have no idea. I'm not Italian. As is to be expected of such an establishment, they also have a sizable wine list- no cocktails, I'm afraid- that is sure to compliment your meal splendidly. "How splendidly?" you ask. I have no idea. I don't drink wine. To start, my friends and I ordered a 4-serving portion of arancini(s) which are rice balls, coated with bread crumbs, and deep-fried to perfection. I burned my taste buds something awful, but the deliciousness of those little balls of heaven were worth the pain. (Do be careful, though; they are very hot). For my main I ordered the Chicken Milanese in the classic style, with a side of Roasted Rosemary Potatoes. The chicken comes simply with a dipping sauce that's more akin to mayonnaise with hints of garlic and diced chives mixed in; yet despite its simplicity, I have rarely had a more satisfying cut of fried chicken before. Contrary to how Americans do it, this chicken is closer to schnitzel, as it beaten flat and then fried; so while there's no juiciness to it, the crispiness makes up for it. The dipping sauce (mayonnaise) compliments both the chicken and the potatoes perfectly. There is also a version of this dish slathered with cuts of ham and a whole lot of olive oil. Personally, I preferred mine. Since one of my friends ordered the classic margherita pizza, I can say that the crust is perfectly baked, the sauce is on point, and the portion is generous. I would order that for myself and spend a day eating it. Overall, the service was friendly and authentic, as most of our servers were Italian. And whilst the place is pricey, I think it will be worth your while if you don't mind splurging on food, once or twice a week. It's a great spot for a date. Why, then, only 4 stars? The stairs to the restroom are so narrow, one of my friends almost broke her neck trying to go wash her hands. Not the best way to end a night, let me tell you. read more

We just arrived and checked into the hotel. They offered delivery as room service so we took a chance. Ordered 3 entrees for delivery and it took approx 30 min. But the delivery was not good instead of sending text to alert that the food was ready for delivery, I got no alert. Then the hotel called my room for delivery. I went down to get the food and the delivery guy was not there. He/she didn't wait at all. The hotel elevator was slow but all in all it took just about 5 min to get to the main lobby. Yummy Italian food. They partner with Marriott Residents Inn for room service. Very convenient. The first visit I had the Salmon and Green Beens. It was excellent. The second time, I had the Tagliolini With Crab, Prawns, Tomato. It was really yummy. My friend had Tagliatelle Bolognese both times as it is her favorite. She says it is the best meat sauce. I had a chicken Milanese and my husband had a chicken with ham (close enough to his US favorite of a chicken Parmesan without the sauce) . Both were delicious and the service was quite good - as opposed to what is done in the US when the server asks when your mouths are quite full. Excellent, authentic Italian food in the Kensington area. The staff were very nice and helpful. When there was a dish my son really likes, but they didn't have it on the menu, they actually made it for him. We all loved our food and the portions were large and the prices were very reasonable for the amount you received. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxed. Clean, nicely decorated and unassuming. It looks small on the outside, but runs long so there is plenty of room on the inside. There are also a few outside tables, but it was raining so we didn't use them. read more

Cacciari's is a fabulous neighborhood, Italian restaurant. The atmosphere is lively and cozy, The employees are wonderful. Everyone makes you feel like guests in their home. They have a great selection of wines and the food is delicious. We ordered tomato burrata, fettuccine with wild mushrooms. And tagliatelle bolognese. I can't wait to go back again and try other entrées. The manager on duty October 25, 2022 was amazing. He was very engaged and extremely friendly and helpful. We will all be back!!! read more

Ended up at this place twice in one night! Was staying at the Residence Inn just across the street and was lucky to have this place so conveniently located. Went for an early dinner around 6 pm and only had one couple seated. They were very welcoming and our waiter was so welcoming with some complementary mortadella. We ordered an order of the garlic bread, the beef tagliatelle and the prawn and shrimp linguini. Was lamenting we didn't order a pizza because they have a full hot stone pizza oven, until they brought our garlic bread! It was essentially a garlic cheese pizza with olive oil and was delicious. Hot out of the oven, stretchy cheese and nice dough. The prawn and crab pasta was great, the tomato sauce had great seafood flavor. And the pasta was cooked al dente, exactly how I like to eat it. The beef tagliatelle was just as delicious, especially when it was first delivered to the table piping hot. They offered extra parmesan cheese which is always welcome. We are out plates cleaned. I was expecting to meetup with a friend who didn't make it for dinner. But because they are open until 11:00, I ended up bringing her back. They were quite full by this time, well after 9:30 or close to 10:00. They still managed to seat us in the last remaining table, again just as welcoming as earlier in the night. Ordered the hot salami pizza and even though I already had dinner, I couldn't turn down a slice. So good! They add a 12.5% service charge, 100% of which goes to the owners, NONE of which goes to the staff. They are stealing from their servers. It's a disgusting, cynical policy.
