Fantastic all around! I was staying at The Kensington hotel and saw there are a few Italian restaurants just around the corner. I took a shot and picked this one and I'm glad I did! Cacciari's is small and cozy. I went at 9pm on a weekday without a reservation and was seated right away but I'm sure if I had gone during prime dinner hours there would have been a wait. Service was fast, friendly and efficient but not rushed at all. The timing was perfect for every step: menu presentation, drink order, meal order, food delivery, checking to see how the food was, etc. The food was fresh and delicious. I had Tagliolini with crab, prawns, tomato, chilli & garlic, and the rocket and parmesan salad. The server asked me if I wanted bread and I said yes thinking it would be a complementary bread basket. It turned out to be GBP 5 but it was also delicious, a thin toasted focaccia bread and still warm. I would say the food was on par with some of the much more expensive Italian restaurants in New York City. Definitely worth a visit! read more

okay so, i couldn't find cacciaris asia, but this is their main restaurant. My mother and I came here on a whim, looking for dinner after a long flight lol, we came to cacciaris asia and oh my god it was amazing, we went two days in a row because the service was so great, Roger was amazingly kind and friendly. The ambiance of the restaurant is so pleasing. And the best part is the food, we had 6 different things (the tacos are smallish portions) and we loved them all. 5/5 I'm gonna be coming back. read more

This hidden gem is a treat for dine-in and also delivers some of the best pizza I've had in London. First of all. Very welcoming and there were two of us staying around the corner. This was about a 2 minute quick walk from Curio 100 Queens Gate Hotel. Bar tender was very friendly and engaging, Kuba either spelled with a C or a K. 5 star Food was outstanding. We had the Tagliatelle Bolognese simply one of the best I've ever had. My wife had the special. It was so flavorful and the mixer of ingredients made your pallet cry for more. Large Pumpkin tortelloni, hazelnut sage and brown butter. 3 star servers. 1 was in training and looked very young. Both spoke very quietly and seemed to be unsure of what they were serving. Maybe it's the trainer training the trainer training the trainer. They were not sure how to handle the 2 alcohol orders. Old fashion with tequila instead of whiskey and the other was a Tequila soda. They got very confused on this liquor order. We wanted to make it easy so we quickly changed our order to two glasses of wine. One red one white. As they placed the wines in front of us. They called the red the white one and the white one the red one. Overtime they'll get it corrected. Overall the food made it a 5 star. read more

Was looking for a heavy, delicious meal to aide in sleeping off some jet lag and was overall underwhelmed with the experience. I'm grateful though, as it was Easter Sunday - I was surprised they were open - but overall it wasn't the luxurious Italian I was after. There was a local/regular at the bar with me sucking down gin tonics and coughing cigarette breathe my way - that didn't help anything, let's be real. I had the Burrata - standard as it goes but only served with tomatoes - some bread or crackers would have been nice House red - fine fine, pretty light, I switched to a cab with my main: the Tortellini w/ bolognese - which was also fine - nothing to really write home about. We enjoyed the pizzas and house wine selection. They were late to bring out our desserts but we were having such a great time that we just laughed about it, but they took it very seriously and comped our desserts and apologized profusely. Amazing genuine Italian homemade pasta with robust flavours! As we were visiting the Natural History Museum, I looked to Yelp for good hearty lunch options that would take a booking for 10 people. Not one single person was disappointed! We all ordered pasta and it was amazing! The waiters were friendly and looked to be enjoying the lunch rush. Although the restaurant was packed, it didn't take long for our food to arrive. We were really impressed with the flavours and the textures of the fresh, flavoured pasta, including rich carbonara, tagliatelle with beef fillet and cherry tomatoes, strozzapretti (twisted priest neck pasta) with sausage and pea puree, spinach tagliolini with scallops and chestnut tagliatelle with mushrooms! I look forward to coming here again, with a smaller group or for a romantic dinner! I would recommend booking as this is quite a small restaurant and they take bookings online! read more

I came here my first day in London and was craving pasta! They had lunch specials where you can choose what pasta and a drink for 14£. It was relatively expensive so the lunch special was great. I ordered the tagliatelle with Bolognese and fresh orange juice. The orange juice was super fresh and was nice and pulpy. The pasta was pretty good and tasty. It was slightly undercooked in some parts of the dish, but it wasn't too bad. It is expensive to eat here and the quality of the food is pretty decent. I will definitely get pasta somewhere else or make my own at home. I enjoyed my experience here, but it is a bit too pricey for me. read more

Thankfully this restaurant was open on Christmas Day! It was our first international trip, spending Christmas in London. What we didn't know was that all transit besides cabs were shut down on Christmas Day, and we had to switch some reservations around as Cacciari's was (barely) within walking distance of our hotel. While a bit pricey at £50 per person (understandably so on Christmas), we felt like we got our money's worth. From the starters served on a wooden board (eggplant parmesan, burrata, etc.) to the choice of entrees (we went with beef/steak) and the desert sampler--the food was outstanding. Returned to London for a week's stay. For the first time in many years I stayed in Kensington. Consequently I relied on the hotel (Marriott Kensington) concierge to advise me which of the numerous Italian eateries in the area did he recommend? So, we arrived at Cacciari's and were greeted like family (really). Still suffering from the eight time zone jet lag our request was simple: Some freshly baked bread, an eggplant parmagiana starter, share a salad and two very different pasta dishes. I don't believe, reading past reviews, that it is important which dishes we ordered. It seems those in charge here know what they are doing. Simply put the food "blew through" our expectations. This is not an eatery where they are creating new dishes - don't expect the need to ask what is "xxx xxx xxx xxxxx? - what they do is prepare fantastic editions of the standard Italian dishes that everyone is quite familiar with If you have had the opportunity to see if our tastes are the same (by reading and eating at other restaurants I have reviewed}, you will be quite surprised and satisfied. Disclaimer- I've been to Pembroke Road branch of this two restaurant chain, so my review is for there, not Old Brompton Road. I work in Earl's Court. There's not much around these parts apart from a huge Tesco. Cacciari's represents the beacon of good coffee and friendly service in an area not hugely celebrated for independent businesses. I've only ever visited for lunch or a coffee and both have been excellent. The sandwiches they offer at lunch (weirdly not on the online menu) are brilliant value- delicious doughy foccacia filled with all kinds of treats from spicy salami and parma ham to fresh mozzarella and roasted veggies. They are HUGE (and if you ask nicely to take half home, can feed you for two lunches!) Service is good- waiting staff frequently check that you're ok, but aren't obtrusive. Brava Cacciari's! The best coffee in London. Flat white. Espresso. Such friendly Italian staff. And when you go anywhere after your coffee here, for another coffee, you appreciate Cacciari's even more. Its saying something to walk into a place, this one an Italian place, and find real Italians eating there. This is a very good sign. As a matter of fact everyone there was Italian, enjoying a traditional lunch made by mamma at this homey little place on Old Brompton Road. The menu is traditional with familiar, simple cooking in the best possible way. Pastas were very good, and as I sat there munching on my tortellini another two Italians walked in for a coffee at the bar, even though there are a couple other coffee places on the road. It seems like a local place where everyone knows your name. And it is an easy place to just come in sit down and munch on a little something. You might leave speaking a bit of Italian. read more

Phenomenal. Our hotel recommended this place, which was a ~10 min walk from Cromwell Rd (Marriott Kensington). Stellar food, wine and service. A nice comfortable restaurant as well. Home-made pasta, fresh cold cuts, great fried squid, delicious bread, and the mains were awesome. Highly recommend the bolognese and the tagliatelle, and then there is a spinach pasta dish but I forget what it was called. Some folks around us were eating pizzas that came right out of the wood-fired oven. Two of us ate four mains between us! Will definitely be back. Got the wrong house wine and server insisted i got the right one. Food doesn't show up after 30 mins while people are seated and served around me. I asked about the food and the salad was rush delivered followed by the pasta bolognes that was flavorless. The server removed fr my bill but the whole experience was a waste of time and calories. read more

During our week long visit, we came across this restaurant and fell so very inlove! What we didn't know was that there were actually two of these spots and they were just a tad different. This one was good, but the other one was way better in mine and my husbands opinion. The service was amazing, they sat us even without a reservation (that was amazing) but we mainly went back to enjoy great food on our last day in London (the Carbonara & Pizza) The Carbonara was just okay & they didn't have pizza. Like I said we didn't realize they had two locations with different menus, and that was our bad. They also offered a ravioli squid special to my Husband.... Which he was very excited to try and loved it but they offered that to a (A full grown man) there was hardly any food on his plate..... I would only offer that special to someone small if I were a server.......He was still hungry afterwards. They did offer up desert, and that was amazing! We were a group of 7 who wanted to eat relatively quickly before seeing Star Wars at the Science Museum. The pasta was good, but not exceptional, the service...accommodating, not much more. For me this restaurant was given one '£', suggesting it was grouped with those less pricier restaurants. Now it's not the restaurant's fault, but at over £13 for some pasta dishes I would not call that one '£'. Yelp has in my opinion been misleading over how expensive it is to eat there. It is for this reason that I have given only three stars, as does not offer the value I was led to believe. read more

Lovely spot for breakfast! We are here every morning during our long weekend stay, it was THAT GOOD! Pastries are warm and fresh and Italians know coffee.
