The food, service, and ambiance here are all great. Our server Kyle is the man as well! We always enjoy this spot.

Our bottle of wine was promptly delivered to the table but the waiter had to be asked to open and serve it. He simply looked at us with an apparent expectation that we open and serve ourselves. Our appetizers and salads were served at the same time followed almost immediately by our main courses. We suddenly found ourselves with a table of food and had barely begun our appetizer course. We were expecting a fine dining experience, not a quick in and out feeding at the trough. For good reason, proper service requires that plates be served from the left and removed from the right. Our server simply reached in front of adjacent guests to serve which was very disruptive, and never once during dining were dirty plates removed without our having to ask for it to be done. Our server was a very polite and courteous young man that I cannot fault. This is clearly a failed front-of-the-house training issue. Additionally, the front-of-the-house manager never visited our table while we were there despite the restaurant being sparsely populated with patrons. The food was okay, but the risotto bed for my "ocean trout" (salmon) was overly salty as was the broccolini. This was to have been a special occasion dining experience for myself and my wife. I went this morning for brunch and boy was it good! I got a breakfast sandwich and the fries were amazing! Also very great service all around. We actually had 2 different staff members helping us which I have never had before! Very attentive! I will be going back to try out their happy hour! Finally had a chance to check out Oasthouse and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Came primarily for the HH specials and opted to be seated on the patio--it was shaded and had misters, which was very much appreciated in this sweltering heat. My fiancé ordered a frozen margarita, which was really good, and I opted for the sangria, which was really not that great and is my only complaint. It was more like a mimosa, it seemed--very heavy on the citrus/OJ. We ordered the house pretzel as our app and OMG...there's a finely-printed "locally sourced" blurb on their menu that mentions Easy Tiger, which makes me believe the pretzel may in fact hail from ET, but let me tell you, the pretzel we enjoyed at Oasthouse BLEW the pretzel we had at Easy Tiger out of the water. Hands down, one of the best giant pretzels we've ever had--so fresh, fluffy, and baked to absolute perfection. And the mustard and pimento cheese that went with it were superb as well. 5 stars for that! Lastly, my fiancé ordered the Reuben sandwich as his entree; I didn't try the sandwich, but the fries were phenomenal too. We will absolutely be back! read more

We really enjoyed the HH experience and dinner in the main dinning room. If you are going for HH you can't go wrong with one of their signature drinks. I love the Shisito peppers and pretzel. If I am going for dinner, anything that says schnitzel will not disappoint. Also don't forget dessert, they have some great seasonal options. 5 stars for great service and food! read more

I visited Oasthouse for lunch on Saturday. It was a late lunch since they don't open until 3:00. The Reuben was delicious, and made with quality ingredients. They have a nice variety of beers to choose from also, with an emphasis on local breweries. I highly recommend, and I will return to explore the menu soon. read more

The food is just ok. The spaetzel with the chicken was tasteless. It needs a different side. My husband's fish and chips were just ok, but the malt vinegar came in a spray bottle. I have never seen that before; it looked like an essential oil sprayer. My son said the burger was great and the fries were good. This is a review of a wine dinner (to promote the private event space here) instead of the restaurant. Restaurant was not open yet when we had our wine dinner (it's on the other side of Keepers Coastal Kitchen). Food was delicious and service was impeccable. In fact, the service reminds us that of a multi Michelin star restaurant! Only minor issue was some of the food was not as warm as it should be; but that is understandable when they were serving 35 dinners at the same time. A nice touch was that Executive chef Amir and pastry chef Dennis both came out to talk about each course! Now that the restaurant is open, we definitely will return to try it. read more

We went out with family in town to the new Oasthouse (the original is north of here) and it did not disappoint. Wonderful to have another great option on this side of town and it's in the same building as the new seafood joint Keepers which is cool and unique. Oasthouse was awesome, they have a lot of beers on tap to choose from if that's your thing and the food is wonderful. Standouts at our table included in no particular order schnitzel sandwich, harvest burger, ruben egg rolls, soft pretzel, bangers and mash and even the shishito peppers were outstanding. Our service was great and the restaurant has a great vibe and even has a private room for larger parties. Outdoor patio with a playground for my friends with little ones is a huge plus! I just found out about the new south location that is shared with Keepers! Such a cool vibe. I love the big chandelier that divides the two restaurants and the dream big artwork that ties into their other concepts. The bookshelves around the bar area are a nice touch. And most importantly they are consistent with their food. I am going to have to come back and try Keepers as my heart was set on Oasthouse fish and chips this visit. read more

For years, my husband and I were disappointed that NXNW closed in this location because we had spent so many afternoons sipping on brews and eating good food while our kiddo played at the playground. So we were waiting for this new restaurant to open and when it finally did, we decided to visit during their first week. While the menu and drinks are different, it's all great. My husband had the steak and I had some yummy pasta, and we had a few of their seasonal cocktails. The service was excellent too. I hear that the menu will be changing seasonally and I look forward to coming here regularly. And I'm so glad they've kept the playground as well. read more

I was really hoping this place would be good because the location is prime and they have a kids playground. Food is basic. Plain and bland but you'll pay 12-14 bucks per plate. Wine and beer selection was decent. Would only come back for drinks and if that. Nice staff though. read more

Been here a lot. It's awesome. I'm not sure what Stephanie C was eating, but sounds like off the kids menu. Merp. It's a shame she didn't find a drink she liked either cause they have basically everything as well lord of craft beer. There aren't many entrees for 12-14 either sounds like tenders and an extra side of fries. Most are 15-20 and Deeeeeeelicious. Not that #Karen would know. This is a follow up to my previous review. Tonight we had a totally wonderful dining experience at Oasthouse. We started with the mussels appetizer and they were absolutely delicious. They were fresh and the soup broth was just perfect. The rest of the meal to include butternut squash soup, Greek salad, pasta, and Reuben sandwich were all on the mark. With dinner, We also enjoyed margaritas which were suitably strong and refreshing. In addition to the great food, we enjoyed excellent service from Kyle. We will be going back. read more
