People always say, "See you at the top," because it really is better up here. Great fries, cold beer, friendly faces, and an incredible view. Moments like this make me realize life is good and God is great. That $10 entry fee was 100% worth it.
Oasis Texas Brewing is always so much fun! You get great views, and actually really good food and beer. The Asian fries today were AMAZING--so unique with a huge portion, and I especially loved the Strawberry Limeade light lager. My only complaint is the elevator has been broken for years, so my elderly mother and elderly dog are unable to enjoy Oasis Brewing because they can't do the stairs. Thank you, also, for doing Barks for Beers each year!
We stopped by Texas Oasis Brewing cause we heard that it has a great ambiance and wanted to grab a drink after we had an early lunch elsewhere. We can see why people rave about the views and the ambiance, which alone makes it worth the visit! The views are truly breathtaking, the space is super relaxed and there's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating to enjoy the setting. There are even fire pits and s'mores kits to add to the overall experience. We didn't try the food this time, but after seeing it all come out, will have to come back! They even have a cute little photo area that takes your photo! The beertender was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and offered some samples to try to help me decide on what to get. The hubby enjoyed his beers and I went with the Ghost Spicy Rita and switched it to be with mezcal, which was fabulous! They make their own ghost pepper agave, and you can really taste the pepper without it being overpowering plus a nice heat that comes through. Cocktails are on the higher side for sure, but the quality and atmosphere make it worth it for sure!
Quick service Saturday at lunch time and tasty food. You can't beat the view of the lake. There's plenty of seating, a full bar, and brews. The music was mostly reggae at the time I went. They had a few fans outdoors but it was still pretty humid. It's a little pricey so I wouldn't drink all day here but it's worth stopping in for a bit.
Came here after zip lining near by and hoped to get a quick bite with a nice setting, we weren't disappointed. The staff was super friendly and helpful, we ordered the chicken strips and fries and the Oasis burger, a frozen sangria and a beer. We sat outside and enjoyed the view. There is an inside bar (beer) and outside bar (cocktails). Hubby burger he said was delicious but I wasn't too impressed with the chicken strips. They were lightly breaded as advertised but some parts the breading was so light that it made it almost chewy. The chicken inside was fresh and juicy. The coleslaw looked good but it was a bit warm and dry... I guess the mayo dressing had drained to the bottom of the cup it was in. The fries were good and the drinks good. Paid the bill, they automatically include 20% gratuity... $76! I had a bit of sticker shock to be honest. Would we come back... yes. It's it overpriced... also yes.
The food and drinks here are spectacular! I get the spicy crispy chicken sando with truffle fries and it's gas. Def upgrade from regular fries to truffle fries! It's a ton of food and worth the price tag! I would say for drinks, the bar is a bit pricey considering they aren't specialty or craft cocktails but do have that price tag, I only ever come here once in a while though so it's not that big of a turn off to me. It can get pretty packed and crowded here- plan of action is always to have one person order for the group at the food counter, one at the bar, and one find seating. Worked out perfectly for our group of 3. We did get the chips salsa and queso here before and I would say it was a nice munch but worth skipping, nothing special. Stick with the truffle fries and you'll be happy. Also the view and the vibes are just so gorgeous that whatever you get you'll just end up enjoying
Visited the Oasis for the beautiful lake Travis views and found that there was a brewery up top with the most gorgeous views! Come early and get a seat front and center! We got a couple of cocktail drinks which were ok, if even that. These drinks were bare minimum. I ordered a spritz and for the prosecco, I got served the bottom liquid of two old open bottles that barely had any left...why add spoiled wine to it? Didn't even fizz and you ended up opening a new bottle anyways? I understand waste but this isn't waste if it's old and starting to smell spoiled. For the piña colada, after it was almost complete, the server said she couldn't open the jar so she wasn't going to add cherries. Didn't even try... I suggest sticking to beers or cans. For a snack, we got Greek fries which were good but they were cold...the plate was scolding hot but those fries were DOA. Too bad because they didn't taste bad... Service was ok but there's a mandatory 20 % surcharge to all bills so that explains the apathy and lack of true effort. This is a nice place but truly lacking in service and quality.
Definitely a lovely place to go on a summer time trip! Great options to drink, eat and chill with your family and friends. Heck even plan another gathering for a next summer time fun!! Let's be honest this area is basically a tourist trap with most people coming for the lake view. And while the Oasis next door is the big name, the brewery actually delivers more on its promise of good food, solid brews and arguably an even better view. The menu sticks to crowd-pleasers with burgers, sandwiches, salads and shareable appetizers. My go-to is the patty melt, made with local beef and served on buttery Texas toast. Beer-wise I'm usually an IPA fan but in the middle of summer their Metamodern Session IPA hits the spot. They also offer lighter lagers, plus darker porters and stouts if that's more your style. The space is huge, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating but if you can grab a table outside for the full view experience. Downstairs, you'll find a billiard and game room for extra entertainment or to keep the kids busy and there's live music weekly, so there's truly something for everyone. If you're in the area or hosting visitors, make time for a stop here. Have a brew and soak in the scenery as you won't regret it.
This place delivers some of the best views in the area, honestly, even better than the Oasis Restaurant and without the long wait. That alone sets the tone, but the experience doesn't stop there. The food was outstanding, and the upstairs menu offered a wide variety of options that made it hard to choose (in a good way). I sampled both a cider and a Mexican-style lager, and both were excellent. What really elevated the experience was the bartender, friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. He walked me through the menu and made spot-on recommendations that I'm glad I trusted. Between the views, the food, and the service, this is an easy go-to spot. I'll definitely be back.
This spot is known for its high above view of Lake Travis. During the day were we on a boat in the Lake looking up at the place, then hours later we were up at the Oasis looking down on the lake. Full circle. This place is a big entertainment center with different things going on but we specifically spent the majority of our time on the top level at the Oasis Texas Brewing and that seemed like a good choice. I read the reviews for the oasis restaurant on the second level and it was not great per people's overall reviews. This place was pretty good though. I can't give 5 stars even though I liked my food. The patty melt, fries, and salad we shared was good. The burger was really tasty. Messy but tasty. I didn't have the beer but was told the hefe was decent. I ordered a cocktail from the side bar on the patio. It was an expensive gin cocktail served in a plastic cup. For $17 a real glass seems reasonable. I didn't love my drink, the ratios were off. I had to add some frozen sangria to make it taste more balanced. The thing I didn't like was an automatic 20% gratuity added onto already steep prices. And I don't mind the tip being added with large parties and service is being provided but they literally don't do any service, so why the charge on every check, regardless of its 2 people or 10. They make you go to the counter to order, get your own water, refill it, pick up your own food from the counter, get your own condiments and utensils, etc. again, not sure why a service/tip charge is added. I was my own server. It's likely due to how touristy the spot it. And if the sun had come out, for what I was told Is epic sunsets, then maybe I would have overlooked the other stuff but alas no sunset this time. Great view though!
The views of Lake Travis were beautiful here. I came here for an event, and this was an amazing venue for good pictures and vibes. Not so much for their actual food or amenities, and it is very pricey. The food was classic American bar food with basic burgers, abnormally small hot dogs, and pretzels. The food was very plain. The virgin pina colada tasted good, although I had a stomachache from it due to the sugar and couldn't stomach another drink. The ice cream was great. My friend and I got the hazelnut swirl, and it was delicious. It tasted like Ferrero Rocher. It was also massive. They have arcade games, except not that many. The only games that actually worked were basketball (by far the only fun one), Pacman, and pong. All the games were supposed to be free to play for our private event except for the ones where you win prizes, but many of them were not working.

Oasis Texas Brewing is kind of in a weird spot. It seems to be part of an outdoor mall but there aren't many shops where there could be. There is fun art pieces as you are on your way there from the large parking garage. Once you are inside the brewery it does get pretty cool. The seating area is fairly large and you get an absolutely fantastic view of the Colorado River in Hill Country while sipping your beer or having a meal. We ate fairly light here as we were grazing and snacking all day long as we were out and about in the Austin area. We got chips with salsa and queso and salad to split which was just right for a light snack. I got a really, really good beer which with this and the view earns Oasis a five star score. I got the Coffee Scotch Ale. When I get a Scotch Ale I want it to be boozy and strong and this one definitely hit all of the marks there. Flavor features in this beer are earthiness, sour, coffee, bitter and boozy. That last feature I am really looking for for what I consider to be a good Scotch Ale and indeed this one did. The Oasis as a whole has degraded to a ghost town featuring only two dining options, and this is the one we ended up at. Firstly, the elevator is out of commission which is important for any differently able people to know. Just having a baby in a stroller with all those winding steps was a challenge for us, let alone someone actually needing ADA compliance. Of course the view is beautiful. That's a given. That seems to be the only thing keeping this place breathing. The price on the food is stout ($7 for fries and ketchup), cocktails seemed to average around $16, beer was a little over $10 a pour. They pre charge a $10/person minimum before you even go inside to see what they have to offer. Also, gratuity is forced and pre included at 20%. You could have water and poor service and still be out $24 for two people. That being said, a forced tip is concerning as far as service staff being as accommodating as they usually would be when actually performing for a tip. Luckily, every experience I had with the staff was positive. But that setup isn't one that's comforting. To me it's obvious this place thrives on their forced fees and tips and tourists happy to pay an exorbitant price for product that's just all right. Not the place for me. RIP The Oasis read more

Oasis Brewing Company is such a great spot! The lake views are beautiful and make the perfect backdrop for a relaxing meal. I had the Hot Agave Chicken Sandwich with fries and a beer, and it was delicious--great flavor and super satisfying. Service was quick and friendly, which made the experience even better. Definitely a great place to chill with friends or date night! read more

Great location, cool views and relaxing vibes. Service and atmosphere: This is a great place overlooking Lake Travis. This brew bar offers great views, relaxing atmosphere, live music and good selection of drinks to keep you happy. The service was very good. The bartenders were friendly and helpful. Drinks: You can choose beer and cocktails. Wine was limited to one bottle only, however, the Cabernet was very good. Drinks we ordered were prepared well. Be advised that 20% gratuity is automatically added to every order so you do not have to worry about the tips, unless you want to tip extra. Pricing: $$ - average for Austin area. read more

Came here for the first time with my friends. We arrived when they first opened up at 12pm and got a nice area outside along their patio with a beautiful view of the lake and trees. Coming from Hawaii and living in Texas where all we have is a flat terrain as far as the eyes can see, it was really nice to see cliffs and lots of trees. We ordered the chicken tenders, chicken wings, and parmesan truffle fries. Nothing special about the food, but it is very flavorful. For beer, we ordered the Lemondrop, Little Heffer, and Cake. I'm more of a scotch and whiskey guy so beer isn't my cup of tea. The menu is pricey, but they do give a lot. What I don't like is they're charging a 20% gratuity fee for all transactions for cash or card. I think that's pretty ridiculous. Sorry, we were unable to take photos of the food. Staff are very friendly. Lots of parking in a smaller lot and/or large parking structure. Lots of tables to chill at. read more
Came here for dinner one night while in town. We were tired of being trapped indoors all week so found the outdoor patio overlooking the water a nice change of scenery. Staff was attentive and quick with add ons. I ordered the chips and queso, chicken quesadilla and a Paloma. All were fine. Nothing crazy but the view and being able to sit outside made it worth it. Their frozen sangria was yummy and perfect for an overcast day. The Lakeside Burger with fries was delicious {I scarfed it down before even taking a picture} but beware it comes with spicy ketchup which my 5-year old wasn't a fan of. Luckily, they also have regular ketchup in their condiment area to the side of the bar where you order. They also have a come and go water station with ice and cups available to all. Be aware, they charge 20% gratuity on all orders which is lame since they only take orders and fill drinks. They don't bus tables, bring your food to you, or have wait staff. They have long wooden bar-top tables to sit at and tall no-back metal bar stools to sit on. In the women's restroom, the 1st stall didn't have a door and the 2nd stall didn't have any toilet paper so I of course was at the mercy of the person in the stall next to me. Overall, they have friendly bar staff, neat photo-ops, & amazing lake views! read more

Came on a very quiet Thursday afternoon for a beer and a snack. I really enjoyed the beer and the side salad and fries were burger portioned than I thought. Both were really tasty. The bartender was a super chill dude and very knowledgeable. It was a very nice pit stop. Why the loss of one star..? While I would've tipped 20% anyway because I liked the service and my food, what I don't like is the mandatory 20% addition to every tab. I'm not a fan of mandatory tipping. Tipping is supposed to be up to the customer to decide. Otherwise. I'd come back. read more

We were visiting Austin for the weekend and wanted to see the lake. It was a randomly super cold day so we took some pictures and found refuge in the brewery. We got a table right by the window so we had a view of the lake and enjoyed our beers. It was pretty quiet and they said they were closing at 4, which worked out fine for us, we finished our beer, took these cute pics and headed out. read more

This brewery is unbelievable. The Nashville Hot Agave Fried Chicken Sandwich was so delicious. It was flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The fries were crispy and the ranch was a perfect dip on the side. The view was beautiful and just overall a great spot for hangouts or a date. read more

Amazing experience! It was our first time there. I'm hosting my family from California and it was their last day in town. I wanted to make sure they had a lasting image of Austin before they headed back, and that is exactly what I got and more. Oasis Texas – Lakeside Outdoor Mall. There is a Mexican restaurant there called Oasis, but its an entire mall where the Brewery sits on the cliffside.
Do they allow dogs 🐕?
Great question! We love seeing your furry four-legged doggos! Bring them along! We even have water bowls for them!
Since it's a brewery do you have to be 21+ to get in?
No. They have non alcoholic beverages and a kids menu.
Can we call ahead for a table to seat a large party?
Not sure. It is typically seat yourself, but there are a lot of large tables for bigger groups. I've never had a problem finding room for groups of 7, or more even during busy times.
Do you have a Happy Hour? What time? Specials?
We have happy hour Tuesday through Friday from 2pm to 6pm. All our beer is $3 and we have an ever changing HH food menu as well.
