Obsessed with Define! I have been to numerous Medspa business, facials, and other treatments…read more McKenzie is the only aesthetician who actually listened to me when I said I have very sensitive skin. She performed a hydro facial and did some other great things to my skin. I was glowing for days and did NOT get dry and flaky. She suggested a serum to help with my redness on the cheeks and I am one month in and it's actually working! I am returning in a few weeks to see her again for another treatment. As we get older we have to undo all that we've done to our face and I am so glad I was referred to McKenzie at Define Beauty!

The assistant at the front was kind, but once I was with the provider, the energy shifted. The numbing cream was only left on for about 10 minutes, and when the treatment started, I still felt a lot of pain, which made me feel like the products or timing were not great. The actual microneedling itself was very short, maybe around 10 minutes, and she did not even cover my entire face, even though I expected a more thorough session. On top of that, she spent a big portion of the appointment pushing product packages and a membership instead of focusing on the treatment I was already there for. The attitude and overall customer service did not feel professional or caring. I would not recommend this place based on my experience.

The space itself is decorated well and the layout seems to maximize the utilization of the space. Their bathroom is stocked with hygiene items if needed. I will say, the actual space for facials feels cramped as I had to weave my way around the estheticians to make my way to the bathroom prior to my appointment slot. I have been to a handful of spas throughout the valley and many membership based studios, and this setup was a tad unappealing. There are six stations located in the back studio space with each guest laying side by side which does not feel private. For the price of services offered if expect some privacy during each service. The facial itself was lovely, with the initial steps being thoroughly explained by the esthetician. At the end of service, I was recommended a few products to utilize during my home skincare routine.

I happened to compliment a coworker's brows and she admitted she had gotten them microbladed at Sage Organic Skin Care. I booked an appointment immediately. I am obsessed. Amber does a phenomenal job. She is clear about the process, honest and direct. I appreciate it and while she tried to downplay what I should expect, she exceeded all my expectations. Amber is an artist. Until yesterday, I had only gone to Amber for my brows. Yesterday I had a facial. It was amazing. My skin looks today. I'm rocking the no make up look. It was so relaxing, I seriously left feeling like I was tipsy . You can ask Amber about that. I also asked her to bring @human.todd with her (check him out on IG) so I could really chill and enjoy the facial. She obliged. My entire experience with Amber and Sage Organic Skin Care has been fantastic. Amber and I always manage to have some sort of hilarious conversation and I leave feeling . Every time my mom sees me she says "those brows though!" She notices and so have other people. You know your aesthetician is legit when people are noticing. Check out the photos of me and @human.todd and see for yourself.

Came in for micro needling and now have gridlines on my forehead and scars on the sides of my face…read more I've been receiving micro needling treatments from Stockton for a year now and have never had an issue. I came into Phoenix skin because I was hoping for a better price but for the quality of work it matched. I saw Katerina and although very sweet I think she needs re training on how to do micro needling. Her passes are all over and she dug the needle into my smile lines and forehead. She also was touching her gloved hand to my headscarf while also using that same gloved hand to apply the PRP.

It's pricey and it hurts. Anyway, I was quoted a price by the gal (Anna) that made the appointment. I understand that prices for things have gone up, I was ok with that and provided my card for the deposit. I asked what the best numbing cream was that I could buy to numb myself up before the appointment, she said that the laser tech would call me. This morning Katarina the laser technician called, she said that it was going to be over $300 MORE than what I was told the afternoon before. I was shocked, I asked about the multiple tattoo discount, she said she wasn't sure and she put me on hold for over 5 minutes. I hung up and decided to call back and just cancel. Anna answered the phone and I asked her about the massive difference in cost- she claimed that she didn't recall speaking with me the afternoon prior- Yeah, right. Selective amnesia. So, by this point I just told her to cancel my appointment. She needs to have her head checked. Katarina called back and gave me another quote with the "discount", still well over $200 what I was quoted the afternoon before. They were not apologetic at all. Poor customer service. I'll be going elsewhere.

I give this location 5 stars for today's visit-- only…read morebecause the staff from the Scottsdale location were working here today. They are so lovely. However, my overall experience has been highly mixed, so it's 3. I would have rated this location 1-2 stars just 6 months ago. The Scottsdale location's customer service and professionalism really saved my business with them. Just understand this is the same company, different locations, and I've had drastically different experiences at the 2 places. Full disclosure, in the past with the regular front desk staff at this location I've had issues communicating with and I almost cancelled my subscription until I realized I could do my treatments at the Scottsdale Quarter location. I have them rated as 5 stars in Yelp. I go there usually for monthly treatments even though it's farther away from my house. I will rate this location right down the middle due to the mixed experiences here. Today's visit was great. The nurse giving my resurfacing treatment was fantastic and the front desk staff were wonderful. If I have to come back to this location and it's unpleasant or unprofessional with the front desk staff, in any way, I will update my review. ** Just be very aware that you cannot be late at all, they will turn you away. Doesn't matter what the circumstances are, they are strict about this. It creates a level of tension that I think is unnecessary for an expensive spa treatment. Obviously no one wants to be late, and I strive to get to appointments 5-10 minutes ahead of time. But just know if this happens to you, they will not work with you. I was 8 minutes early to my visit today. They tell people to arrive 10 minutes early for their appointments. In order to make sure you find it easily if you're new coming here-- Park next to Cheesecake Factory and walk towards Love Sac or Tempur-pedic. It's right there. I am trying to save you time from walking around the entire shopping center.

Over the last several months, though, it felt like no one was listening to what I actually needed. Instead of addressing my concern, I kept being offered alternative procedures, none of which made any difference in the area I wanted treated. I fully understand you can't make a 60-year-old look like a 20-year-old. All I wanted was a little filler at the bottom corner of my lips. That's it. But Sarah, the last provider--and honestly one or two before her--did other procedures that accomplished nothing. Sarah used a volumizer at the bottom of my lip corners plus threads. The only outcome was a badly bruised chin for two months. She told me not to get too excited because the "filling" was just inflammation. As a nurse, that was concerning to me--I wanted filler, not inflammation. After the procedure, the pitch shifts to more expensive treatments, like microneedling. Sure, that might be worthwhile on its own, but it doesn't solve my problem. Two and a half months after Sarah told me I'd see results, I've seen none. Zero. I spent $1,800 for nothing. I called the Biltmore location on Thursday, September 16th, and spoke with someone whose name I unfortunately didn't get. They said they'd call me Friday morning. Nothing. Today is Monday, and while I've left another message, I don't expect a response. I'll be going to a provider who will actually listen and do this very minor filler procedure for me. I wouldn't recommend SkinSpirit Biltmore. They may do something, but understand going in that you likely won't get the results you want--so you keep returning hoping for better. Go to someone reputable. Not SkinSpirit.
