My daughter and I like to only use this nail salon. They have tons of options for style of nails and almost too many choices of nail colors, but I don't necessarily see that as a negative. The gentleman that does our nails does a beautiful job doesn't take forever and is very nice. Can't wait to go back this weekend. read more

Every time I come here it's the best feeling ever, I have been coming here for three years already and hes the best on prices and any styles you neeed La Ven gives you professional attention and attitude to all his clients I never had a bad experience coming here then other spots I have gone to. Cherry the best on toes also. Would definitely recommend all my friends and family members to come here read more

I've been going to oasis nails for about two years now and never had any problems! Sam does great nails just isn't too much of a talker which is great! Lol in fact it's perfect because sometimes I'm not much of a talker and want to relax and not talk while getting my nails and feet done. I always ask his opinion if I should get the more narrow or a whole new set etc. They're not money hungry like other salons that keep asking to get extras. It's always a quick, in expensive and good experience!! read more

Love this place! Excellent customer service and their quality of nail services is on point. I have never left unsatisfied. They take great care of their clients. 5 stars for effort and service. I've been hopping around to find the right nail shop for me and the pictures they posted lured me in. Great prices for what I got. Jenny Hong, the owner hooked my nails with the design I found on Pinterest. It's almost Halloween and if you know me, I heart Dia De Los Muertos inspired art. She took the time to look at the pics online and created the perfect design for me. Be sure to have a couple hours set aside if you want unique designs. A+ Also, they cost is pretty damn good for what I paid for. All the designs, acrylics, and pedicure were about $55 without tip. Very cool! read more

I recently moved to Whittier and this place is right by my house so I decided to try it. The first two times were alright, not great. Whatever. But the third time I came was one of the worst fucking experiences getting my nails done EVER. I will never be returning. I had one cracked nail so I asked for a new one but instead he put glue in the crack and then another layer of acrylic over it. I'm not a nail tec, however, I am absolutely sure you should never fix a cracked nail this way. He insisted it would be fine, but a couple days later my finger was red, swollen, and throbbing. It hurt so bad I couldn't sleep and I was positive that I had an infection. I removed the nail myself with acetone and a nail file because I REFUSE to come back here. And lo and behold- I had an infection in my nail (see attached photos). AND to top it all off, I can understand Vietnamese so I knew everything one of the bitches was saying about me. She went on about how disgusting I am because my hands were sweaty- which what do you expect on a hot day with no A/C? UM HELLO!! If that shit bothers you SO MUCH, how about getting A/C in your salon instead of complaining about your clients. She even didn't want to polish my nails because of it and said I probably had some sort of disease. Are you fucking kidding me? Never have I felt so disrespected at a nail salon in my life. Watch what you say about people because you never know when someone can understand you talking shit! Bitch. With that being said, I will take my money elsewhere moving forward. read more

First time going here! Amazing customer service and great prices. I just showed the lady a picture I wanted on yelp and she even did a better job than the picture! I'm so glad I looked up reviews and they had very good ratings. They did an amazing job both my gel nails and pedi! I'm truly impressed with how much she paid attention to details and I will be coming back for sure Update from yesterday 12/22/14 I took 3 stars away and probably won't be returning.. I had to wait over an hour just for gel nails and the same lady did them.. I'm so disappointed she didn't do that great and she made my finger bleed.. I know it was busy but I should be feeling relaxed and they should welcome you instead of rushing and I'm truly disappointed.. Time to find a new place :/ read more

Wow! Just got a beautiful set for $15! Sam worked on my nails and did a great job. He was quick and efficient! I have really short nails and sometimes the techs struggle apllying the acrylics but he is a pro! Just found my new spot! They have mon - weds specials!!! Mon $10 fill. Tues $18 gel mani. Weds $15 full set. I love this place because they have great OPI nail polish and my acrylics are on point! UPDATE: My 2nd/3rd/4th set of acrylics lasted me 3 weeks (unbelievable)! My nails were still decent when I came for a fill. Just came in for my 5th set and surprisingly enough 2 of my nails broke! Nonetheless, still love this place. Came for a fill and its only $2/nail to fix! Just got almond shape for the 1st time and Sam doesn't disappoint! read more

Love this place! Sam is the best! I love his no nonsense attitude. If you need someone to sugarcoat things for you he may not be for you but if you like your nails on point and you appreciate a straight shooter that is going to tell you what works for you and what doesn't...Sam is your man. I get coffin shape nails and I am constantly getting asked where I get them done. I absolutely love Joanne's finishings. She has an impecable understanding of color and flair for nail design. Sam did an amazing job on my nail last night. I am very pleased on the detail that he puts in his work and how patient he is. I never had a bad experience with Sam and been going here off and on since they opened. The nails are perfect and they last a long time. Sam was kind enough to do an amazing new design on two of my nails and they look awesome and I walked out of the salon yesterday feeling great... you will not be disappointed and the prices are reasonable. This was the second time I've gone to this nail salon, I take my client who has special needs here to get her nails done. Both times the customer service was good, but I liked my first experience better. The first time I went here they attended us right away and offered us free coffee, they have a coffee machine that has different flavors. I don't know all of them but I know they have French vanilla. This second time around they attended my client right away and even though her nails were a little beat up, they still managed to do a filling and her nails came out great. The price was not bad either, to do her filling it cost her $21. What I didn't like was when I asked for coffee. The first time I went there the receptionist offered us the coffee and this second time it was a different receptionist so I had to ask for it since that was the main reason we chose this nail salon because my client likes coffee. So when I asked for the coffee the receptionist didn't know how to work the machine so she asked one of the other ladies. The lady only filled up my cup halfway so I asked her if she can fill it up all the way and she looked annoyed and walked away so the receptionist filled it up for me. I just thought that was rude I know I asked for the coffee and they didn't offer but still they have that machine for a reason. So yea other than that my experience was good, just don't ask for the coffee haha read more

The place is not in the nicest shopping center but they do a nice job. I've attempted getting retro style nails elsewhere without getting what I wanted. I showed Sam a picture and he was able to recreate the shape that I wanted. Last time I went somewhere I got witchy claws which is totally not my style. Sam didn't try to up sell me anything. He didn't bug about getting something extra, which seems to be the case at most nail shops. I actually asked him about eyelash extensions and he was very honest about the pros and cons. Now what nail salon person does that? The shop would have gotten 5 stars if it wasn't for Joan. She has a negative attitude. Apparently, she was not happy that I didn't get gel nail polish. She didn't have to tell me that because I heard her telling Sam in a tone ... I think Sam just wanted to help me save some money. If I could avoid Joan next time, I totally would. She scolded me for moving my hand ... She could have easily just asked without her grumpy attitude. I will be back though. I hope I have a better experience next time. read more

This place has become my new regular spot! First off, they are very clean and have great customer service. Whenever I go in I show them a pic of how I want my nails and they always come out spot on. Sam does an excellent job, he definitely knows what he's doing! And Joanne does all the designs and they always come out looking great. The only reason I gave them four stars instead of five is because I wish they had more help! Most of the time there are only 3 people working so if you don't mind waiting a bit, then make an appointment! However they do a great job at accommodating everyone as quickly as possible without taking away quality and a job well done. If you haven't been here, check it out! You won't regret it :) read more

Yesterday I came about 40 min before close so I wasn't sure if they'd take me for a full set service but luckily Sam was caring enough to take me and let me tell you he took his time with DETAIL it was an amazing service. The shape length on point and no not thick at all!!!! The color I had originally picked looked different in bottle so he carefully went through all the colors with me to make sure that I got what I wanted! I even had a coupon for 16$ full set he has amazing prices Thanks OASIS!! never disappoint I'm not too sure what those other ppl are talking about him being rude. I called this nail shop & spoke with the man in the front. I asked him if they do acrylic toes & pedicure, he said yes. I asked if i can make an appt & also if we have time i'll do a full set of nails on my fingers. He told me to come in at 7:30 and we can do both. Cool! I had a 45 min drive ahead of me but I assumed it would be worth it because they have good reviews. Well i was VERY WRONG. i got there at 7:15. I walked in used the restroom & waited in the front. The guy came back up to me & said okay sit down here (not the pedicure chairs.) I showed him my toe & said I need my toes done first because it's broken & if we have time we can do a full set. He said "i don't do acrylic toe." I then said "on the phone you said did & told me to come in for both services." He didn't even have a response! I told him I had driven 45 min from Ontario! Still didn't care to say a word, let alone apologize or even look me in the face. So i assumed that was my cue to leave. As i walk out he says "Goodluck." Wow. This was by far the most CRUEL experience i've ever had with a nail salon. Who misleads someone like that & then straight up ignores them?! I just couldn't wrap my head around why someone would MISTREAT me like this. I would advise to spend your money else where. Anywhere but here! This is the one of the worst nail salons. I've made appointments on a few different occasions and I come in and they are not ready to help me. It happens a lot to other customers as well. The main guy who does nails can not be trusted with drills. I was hurt with the drill more than 3 times in one sitting and ultimately had to leave and find another salon. I do not recommend this place. Go to Friendly Nails and Spa!!! They're less than 5 minutes away from this location and so much more better and have a way nicer shop and better employees. read more

Sam I am very upset I've been a loyal customer of yours for the past 2 Year's I always make appointments and and seems like they're never respected , today I had an appointment with you at 3:30 your wife booked it I walked it and waited for 40 min and still nothing you said to come back and I did not get upset I was supposed to be back 40 min after I was 10 min late due to traffic I walked in and you said this time it wasn't your fault you wanted me to sit and wait for another while my time is also valuable I wasted so much time today very extremely disappointed, I thought I would stick around and keep you as my nail tech but not anymore . read more

been coming here for about 2 years on and off whenever I have a little extra money to splurge on myself. Great quality and GREAT prices. Everyone is super polite and I never feel uncomfortable. I'm a mom to a one year old so long acrylics aren't really realistic for me anymore and any time I have gotten them short at a nail salon they look chunky and I'm never happy with the result. But at oasis I never leave disappointed. I have recommended this place to my mom and one of my friends who is now a regular and they both love it Update: Not coming back ever again. Came in on Sunday July 7, around 2:45 pm. I walked in and only 2 people were being helped at the time. I was asked by the owner Sam what I needed and I said a manicure and a pedicure. Never did he tell me a wait time or that there was any appointments that needed to be helped before me. so I just sat there and looked at colors until about 3:00. A man and 2 ladies walked in, making it obvious that they were regulars. Sam said they "had appointments" but I guess he didn't realize that I can hear a conversation that's happening right in front of me when the man clearly didn't have an appointment for 3 people, just 1. But Sam accommodated them all, and then told me he wouldn't have anything available until 4:30. I don't care how much of a regular you are, if you book for ONE appointment then ONE appointment is what you get. Bye Oasis read more

I went to the wrong oasis nails! Should have read these bad reviews because everything is true about this man, Sam, that works there! I showed him a picture of a design that I wanted for my nails and he told me (with profanity) that I should find out who did the nails from the picture and go there instead. I'm so sad. I love this place, Sam does my nails the best for such a good price. However today I didn't even get to see him. I made an appointment yesterday for 9:45AM. The store opens at 9:30 so I thought, perfect since I'm on a tight schedule today. I got to the shop at 9:30 sharp, and it wasn't open....I thought maybe they are just running a bit late it's okay. I WAITED AN HR!!! They never showed. I wish somehow Oasis nails could have told me, or just let me know they weren't going to be there the time they said they would.
