very poor service. I went in for a pedicure and Gel polish manicure. It seems like the lady doing my pedi could not wait to get back to her phone. I didn't get to soak my feet 5 min before she came over and basically just washed my feet. No skin sloughing, not even with the pumice thing they use. She didn't trim my nails nor file them, she washed and dried my feet then polished my toenails with ONE coat of polish I was done with this half done pedi in 15 min.... not even lotion nothing on my feet legs. I paid the $25 but no tip except for this one, if you keep treating your customers this way you won't have a nail salon too much longer. read more

I have been frequenting another nail salon in Mission for years, but Oasis opened up recently and I received a 20% off coupon in the mail, so I decided to give them a try. Overall, the place was just fine. The front desk staff was friendly and offered my a drink when I sat down. The place is very nicely decorated, although they were playing elevator music which I don't care for. My nail tech was friendly, and she did a nice job with my toes, but she was quite rough. I will start by saying that it's partially my fault I didn't have a better experience. I wanted to try a gel manicure for the first time, and my nails were long and well-shaped, so I stopped by Oasis Nails on my way to Target. I told the technician twice that I didn't want him to cut my nails. He trimmed my cuticles and came at my nails with the clippers. I can't believe I didn't pull my hands back. When he shaped my nails, he didn't ask what shape I wanted, and the result was a square-ish shape that kind of dipped in the middle. I know I should have spoken up more, but I also said twice I didn't want my nails cut. I would have appreciated a little more communication from the technician. read more

Bummer, I should have read ALL the reviews. A very long wait, half assed my pedicure, butchered my eye brows and they are completely uneven, and extremely thin. The techs were so unprofessional and bad mouthed the other techs, they were pranking each other, my tech asked another to fill my water bowl to soak my nails and she came back with it so scolding hot and then laughed as I had stuck my hand in and burned myself. Then looked at me and said "she is lazy and I wanted her to get up." They both continued to giggle and not apologize. No cuticle oil was used in my manicure, and the tech was so busy giggling to the other she kept hurting me. Never again. So unprofessional. read more

First time going to this nail salon and was not impressed to say the least. I walk in they tell me to pick a color. They were pretty busy so I had to wait for a little bit. When I finally get called over, I tell her what color I want, she looks confused. I tell her again and she still didn't get it. So I get up and have to show her which color I want on the color wheel. She starts talking to her co worker and they say they can do this color but it would be $10 extra. It was a chrome dip so I was like fine. Then they start talking some more & they changed it and say they can't do that color because the have to do gel and powder..? So she told me to pick a different color. I picked a glittery blue color. She then told me that one would be $5 extra then asked if I wanted a top coat. I did because I didn't want it to be rough from the glitter. She says she can't do a top coat. I was really irritated at this point. I don't understand why they had colors displayed that supposedly they couldn't even do... so I just picked a random color cuz I was over it. I think my nail tech was new idk. But 2 days after I got them done 2 of them have cracked.. the dip is so thin and basically see-through. The dip is just breaking off and cracking my nails. I was a regular customer here every 3 weeks for over 2 years. I was extremely disappointed at my last scheduled appointment . The owner told me my regular nail technician would be late, so she had another tech do my nails. The owner assured me he was very good. Only 2 minutes after he started my nails , my regular tech arrived ! She did not even acknowledge me, she just started on another person who was a walk in!!!!He did an absolute HORRIBLE job on my nails- they were way too thick with gel powder . I realized then that they do not appreciate the regular customers and only about the next dollar walking in. I will NEVER EVER go back here and I do not recommend Oasis Nails to anyone ! I've been coming to this place for quite some time now and sadly, I won't be coming in anymore. Last time I went in to get a pedicure the guy who was doing my toes asked me on a date half way through. When I told him I had a boyfriend, he got quiet and things got awkward. Then he grabbed my sandals and threw them where I was going to get my nails started. I decided to give it another shot today but the guy who was doing my pedicure rushed the process and didn't even think to let my nails dry for long enough. I had to ask if it was okay for me to wait. He just wanted to take me up to the register. I feel as like if you look like you won't be able to afford giving them a generous tip, they rush your service and try to move on to the next person. The shop is always clean and the equipment is ALWAYS sanitized. The employees are always sweet and kind. Kim is the owner of this salon, and she's fabulous! I started with her at another salon, when she began her own business I followed her. I live out north so its a bit of a trek to go see her but as many can attest, once you find a favorite spot you stick with it. The salon is very clean and comfortable which is hugely important to me. Her employees are also polite and engaging, which is nice. I'm very particular so I always request Kim and if she's not available because the salon is busy, I'll generally make an appointment and return later. That's not to say the other techs aren't good, I just prefer Kim as she's very good at what she does. read more

I have been a loyal customer for the past 2+ years, coming in every two weeks, and would never think twice about referring my friends to Oasis. However after today's service I will not be returning. I am unsure if it's because I chose to get cheaper services done this go around, but I was thoroughly disappointed with the quality. Due to my new job I could no longer get gel so I asked for just a polish change without a mani and then a basic pedi. Normally I get gel+mani and the green tea pedi. They did not completely remove my previous polish so I have grey showing through my pink. I have polish on my cuticle and skin and when I asked them politely to clean them up their attitude was not pleasant. The strangest part was that they requested I pay prior to my services. Assuming I would receive the same quality in times past I tipped 50% as I always do. Needless to say I will not be returning. Very disappointed. read more

I dropped in without an appointment. Was quickly taken for both a mani/pedi. I went with the most economical service, to see if I got the short and sweet treatment. WRONG! They were very pampering in their services to me, very helpful and were most gracious in offering me a beverage or anything else I might have needed to help enhance my services. I had been a patron of another salon for some time, but quit going back in May as those services have really gone downhill. I can tell you, after my first visit with Oasis, I am definitely coming back to for return visits. It is definitely worth your time to come and visit! My French manicure from Saturday was more like a polish change, not a true manicure, it was so careless and rushed; it started chipping same day and less than 48 hours later I'm missing all of the polish on one nail. It simply peeled off in two big chunks! I had to have my manicure in one of the pedicure seats; there was no place to put my jewelry and a bracelet fell on the floor. I didn't pick it up immediately nor did the technician, and then I forgot about it. Though I was told it was found by an employee and placed on the front counter, it disappeared and remains lost. Such a bummer...my best friend wanted to give all of her bridesmaids pedicures as her gift to us. I suggested Oasis Nails because it was close to where we live and I had been there before and received a beautiful set of acrylic nails that lasted for weeks! We made an appointment for 5 people at 3pm. We actually wound up with seven girls total. They were able to accommodate although my daughter sat by herself waiting forever for her manicure. Otherwise, everything was fine- we were all seated in various massage chairs and ready for service. The chairs were super comfy and relaxing. The woman giving the pedicure was kind and smiled often. I wish they used some sort of callus removing lotion on my heels and softened them a bit more but all in all, it was a fine pedicure. The problem arose when the bride to be saw her gel nail polish in the sunlight. What had looked like pearl white suddenly turned pink. She was disappointed because of course on her wedding day, she was wearing white and wanted the colour to compliment her dress. We convinced her to go back and ask for the color she wanted. Needless to say, they were not happy to see us. A woman we explained out situation to asked, "Why did you pick that color?"in a rude way. As if there needed to be a debate! It was made very clear that it was all the bride's fault for picking the "wrong" color. The worst part was the guy who repainted her nails. He said, "That's why I told you to take your time choosing the color." He was scowling and rude, not making eye contact and crossing his arms in disgust while waiting for each coat of polish to dry. He didn't even put lotion on after having her soak her fingers in whatever harsh chemicals they use to remove the gel polish! She tried to look him in the eye as she said Thank You but he wasn't having it. All this after she dropped $200 in services and tip! How embarrassing that I recommended this place! I have been to this salon three times for pedicures. I had a great experience the first two visits; however, I was extremely disappointed when I went back last week. The technician gouged my left toe and didn't stop when I winced the first time. Instead she continued to cut into the nail until it was bleeding plus hurt like mad! She never once apologized for hurting me but rather put some type of solution on the wound and carried on. I was worried the toe would become infected so immediately consulted a pharmacist and have been putting antiseptic and antibiotic cream on the area. This was especially worrisome for me as I am traveling to the Galapagos in a few days so have been very concerned this pedicure could end up ruining my trip. I will NEVER EVER go back to this place again!!! read more

I'm usually one to give positive reviews but I cannot overlook my last disappointing and PAINFUL experience at Oasis. I got the $25 pedicure which usually includes a light foot and leg massage w lotion. I don't know my nail techs name (Lucifer?) but from the start she seemed impatient and totally annoyed by my presence. She did okay w the polish removal but once she started using the sharp tools, it was torture time. She dug crud from under my big left toe nail with her metal prison shank and jabbed me so hard that I jumped a foot off my seat; saying "Ouch!" only seemed to encourage her more. It was all downhill from there. She was rough and rushed and when she used the little scissors to trim the "dead" skin, she cut too deep in that same area she had just shanked! I pulled my foot out of the tub to see if it was bleeding and she barked at me to put my foot back in. I told her I was checking for bleeding and she snapped that it wasn't bleeding. I wouldn't know since she wouldn't allow me to take my foot out of the water. The "massage" consisted of her briskly rubbing her hands up and down on my shins while talking to her co worker (probly about me) and then slapping a hot towel on my legs. When she put the remover and then the polishes on, my injured big left toenail was burning. She handed me back my bright red (can't see the blood) polish and got up and walked away. No "thank you for allowing me to stab you today." I caught her as she was walking by while I was drying and told her that I was disappointed in my service. I told her under my toenail was burning and bleeding; she responded by jabbing her long nail(though gloved) into the sore spot while pretending to look and then informing me "it's not bleeding." I also mentioned that there was no foot nor leg massage-even tho I've always received them before. She then told me that massage isn't included in the basic pedicure anymore and walked off visibly pissed off-ready to torture the next customer. My pedicure lasted 21 minutes, btw. I paid over a dollar a minute to be in hell.It's the first time I have never tipped for a service in my life. My left toe is still throbbing when I wear shoes-which I have to since it's Jan. Not only was there "no bleeding and no massage" in my pedicure, there was NO ENJOYMENT either. Never going back. I suggest you do the same. read more

The worst experience ever at a nails salon. I go to spas quite frequently and am quite familiar with the beauty/spa industry and this is no way anywhere close to a "pampering" experience that I was hoping for. My pedicure was so rushed, lasted about 15 minutes. I barely got a massage and the soles of my feet were hardly scrubbed. I was repeatedly asked if I wanted to upgrade my pedicure to the deluxe pedicure. I declined. I felt like since I did not get the more expensive pedicure, they gave me a half-effort pedicure so that I can notice the difference. The experience made it seems as though a regular pedicure is no longer good enough, which I've never felt in my life. They talked my friend into getting the deluxe pedicure which was almost twice the price as the regular pedicure and she was done about 5 minutes after mine. The products used for the deluxe pedicure was of cheap quality in comparison to the higher quality products available out there that are offered for deluxe pedicures. We definitely did not feel pampered. The atmosphere was not relaxing and the service was just disappointing. I am shocked that anyone would rate this salon a 5 star. i went in for a mani pedi combo 38.00 on their sign. the tech who did my toes was fast and very unfriendly to the point of being rude. i got a french pedi and my polish is uneven and looks horrible. i was then passed to a guy for my mani and even though he was friendlier he did half my mani standing up like he couldn't wait to leave. i asked for gel french with color and i was told it wouldn't look right, see it all the time. in the end i was charged 70.00 because i got a gel mani. when i paid him i gave him exact change and was looking in my wallet for a smaller bill to tip and he yelled it's 70.00 like i didn't give him enough money, this was my second trip here and never again worst salon in town read more
