I scheduled a flu/covid swab test and received a confirmation email that the appointment had been made. Day of, I waited quite a while in line (not staffs fault) but when I got up to the register and explained what I was there for, the employee was frankly rude. He told me that location doesn't do that. No explanation for why that information isn't on the website, no offer to help me schedule an appointment at a location that CAN perform the test - all around very poor customer service. And this isn't the first time I've encountered unhelpful pharmacists at this location. My problem is with the pharmacy and Walgreens website (which needs to be updated ASAP!) not with the other staff at this location. In fact, a woman at checkout greeted me and thanked me for coming in when I was leaving; she was kind and the only good part of my experience. read more

I went to pickup my photo order and asked to look at it first because the last order i picked up was all blurry and didn't print right and i didn't realize it until after i paided and when i looked inside they had printed my order twice when it should have only been printed once instead of just saying oh sorry ill take that back and fix your total they spent probably 10 minutes arguing with me that i was preventing them from helping other costumers and wouldn't fix it. which is insane because the order wasn't paided for and wasn't what i ordered. If the order had not been picked up what's then you would throw it away but because I'm here and picking it up you think i should pay more for your mistake. That staff at this location is not only rude and unprofessional but in capable of just doing their jobs. read more

Worse pharmacy I have ever used. They are constantly out of medications that I use on a monthly basis. They are very curt and don't check their work. The drive through takes about 15 minutes a car to complete the transaction. read more

They have fun here. You could probably just go and put a flash drive in the photo machine and have a good time with the staff. Big fan of this place even though I feel a little conflicted because an independent pharmacy is a few blocks away, using one of which is a rare pleasure. I can't imagine fussing about customer service here. The pharmacists are fast enough that if you use basic social skills to figure out in what order people have arrived in the waiting area and get to the desk accordingly, you should see how quickly they're actually working. The only thing that keeps it slower is when they're working with someone to get their insurance sorted out and that's an indictment of America and an endorsement of their efficiency. It's a location of a big corporation. So just use the app and get in and get out faster than about anywhere else. read more

The pharmacy staff here is courteous, thorough and helpful. When my regular medication was in short supply from my regular pharmacy they were able to fill my Rx. Each time I talked with them they asked questions to make sure I was well taken care of. They are a shining example of wonderful care and service in a difficult job! read more

As an immunocompromised person, I went into this location to get a third COVID-19 shot. After I stated that I had an appointment, a middle aged pharmacy tech just stared at me and went, "ummmm..." I could tell by the look on her face that she thought I was trying to cheat the system and get a third shot that I wasn't qualified for. She then said in a challenging way, "you have to meet certain conditions to qualify for one of those." To which I replied, "uh, huh..." After I signed the consent form, she took forever on the computer researching my medical background. She then turned to me and said that my insurance card had expired. I did have insurance, but had been on COBRA after being laid off. The card was simply expired, but she insinuated that I couldn't get a shot because of it. She never mentioned that I could get a shot anyway, but suggested I come back another time. I DID know that I could get a shot without insurance, but by that point, I was so disgusted by her attitude towards me that I didn't want to deal with her anymore, so I just left. I hope this woman doesn't treat other people who want shots in the same way. Should could actually cost someone their life. read more

If this wasn't the closest 24 hour pharmacy to my house I would take my business elsewhere. The pharmacists are so flustered and over worked that I have had many problems. The latest happened this week as I have a terrible cough that I was prescribed medication for. I went to pick it up and the pharmacist failed to give me all the prescriptions. I just found out today that I was supposed to get one more (that was also ready the day I picked up the others), and I could be feeling much better. I'm now a few days behind on my treatment. Bottom line: it's a 24 pharmacy and that is the only good thing about this place. read more

The 20 something year old dude running the place before close on November 20th, Saturday was top notch customer service. We almost gave up trying to find a trial size facial cleanser, at least I did, but he spent an extra 5 minutes looking for it for my online customer and found it. Give this man a raise. read more

The woman in the drive-thru pharmacy yesterday could not have been nicer. She was quick, efficient, and polite. My usual pharmacy was closed so my RX was sent here. I was kind of dreading it since I hadn't had great experiences here before, but I'm happy to report that yesterday was great. Hope this level of service extends to inside the store. read more

This review is for the clinic, not the actual Walgreens. I went out of my way for an appointment here at 8am, showed up at 8:02 due to traffic, and the kiosk wouldn't sign me in. It says to call a number of you have this issue. I proceeded to call the help line to see if they could get ahold of the doctor to see why I can't find anyone, since I have the first appointment of the day. She can't get ahold of anyone. At 8:20, the Dr finally comes out for the 8:20 appointment. I tell her my situation and she bluntly tells me that I was late so I had to schedule another appointment. Cool cool. No apologies, no offers to help get me in. I recommend going somewhere else that actually cares about their patients. read more

Started when we were stuck in line for 20 minutes and then we finally get to the window where she waits 5 minutes to greet me. I had called a hour and a half to confirm my prescription was filled. I wish there was a way to give zero stars. This is truly the worst Pharmacy I've ever been to. DO NOT fill your Rx here. I developed a thyroid condition exactly 1 year ago which lead me to my first ever recurring prescription at 37. This is the most convenient Walgreens to my house, so naturally, I picked it. The first time my doc sent the Rx, the Walgreens sent me a text that said "your prescription is ready." So, I drove over, got in the very long drive through line all to have them tell me they didn't receive anything. I showed them the text and the techs just looked at each other and told me to come back in 30 min. Which I did, and they still didn't have it ready. The sad part of this story is that this has happened 100% of the time I've gotten the Rx filled here...that's about 10 times. Today was the last straw that lead me to Yelp and will lead me to a new pharmacy. I got the flu yesterday while in NC for the holidays, fout through a fever on the plane. During that time, my doc sent in a script for Tamiflu and a Zpack. After landing, drive straight to this Walgreens and they said they didn't have it ready and to come back in 20-30 min. So I sat in the car, feeling awful, then came back in 30 min all to be told "We just got your script 5 min ago, so it's not ready yet." He completely lied to my face! It was someone different than had told me to come back. When I confronted him for lying, he again told me to come back in 45 min. I'm so discouraged. I truly don't recall being this sick in my life and here I've sat (and still sit) waiting 1.5 hrs for the meds that are supposed to make me better. Final thought: don't do it. Go to CVS. read more

When you are having a medical situation and need a pharmacy you can trust, one that has your best interest at heart. After a long evening in the urgent care we arrived in the pharmacy. We waited a while and finally went to check out only to discover that the cost of the script was triple what it cost at CVS. We asked why and were emphatically told by the pharmacy team that Walgreen's is always more expensive and that they were rarely competitive. After a long night and with a tired son, I jumped in the car and we went to CVS. Next time I will skip this step and will not miss going into this dingy store. I will not allow myself to be guaged just because it is a time of need. Shame on Walgreens. read more

Unfortunately, this Walgreen's is NOT closed, although after my experience tonight, it might be better if it were. Backstory: my dog has seizures. As such, we have a script for Valium to relax his muscles in case he has a seizure that he won't come out of. Basically, that keeps him from frying his brain while we speed him to the emergency vet. He had a seizure tonight, and I only had 1 cc of Valium left. (My fault.) I called Walgreen's to see if I could get a script filled speedy-quick, ideally picking it up on the way to the vet. (I know - less than ideal.) The conversation went as follows: Alleged pharmacist - "Walgreen'spharmacyhowmayIhelpyou?" Me - "I have a script for valium compounded into suppositories, 10 mg/suppository. If I bring the script by tonight how fast can I get it filled?" A.P. - "...Um, are Valium and diazepam the same thing?" Me - "Excuse me?" A.P. "Diazepam. Is that the same as Valium?" Me - "You're asking ME? They are the same thing, and I know that after one semester in nursing school. Aren't you working in the pharmacy?" A.P. "Yeah...do you know if DiaStat and Valium suppositories are the same?" Me - "Sir, my dog is seizing on my living room floor right now and I just need to know how fast I can get this prescription." Pharmacist - "Well, since we (my edit - what is this WE business?) don't know if they're the same, I would need to call the vet to confirm before I can fill this." Me - hangs up, goes to emergency vet. Completely freaking ridiculous. Go to CVS across the street, because after that experience I wouldn't trust Walgreen's with anything more complicated than a multivitamin. read more

The pharmacy is still completely inconsistent: wait times, readiness, friendliness, etc. You've got some really great folks who care and an equal amount who do not. Some consistency in the pharmacy would get them another star. Continued fuckery could loose them a star and possibly my business. read more

Well, this Walgreens was open at 2am when I needed medical supplies, the staff told me right away where the supplies I needed were located, and they had what I needed. The front check out wasn't staffed when I walked up, but they had a little bell system set up that notified a clerk that someone was ready to check out. She appeared quickly, rung up my purchases, and I was on my way home in no time. So, while I don't ever want to be buying gauze and medical tape at two in the morning, it's nice to know that if I need it, Walgreens is open and has it. Which makes this location 100% A-OK to me! read more

Went to this Walgreens for C-19 vaccine and scheduled an appointment a day ahead of time. Upon arrival I was left standing at the counter for some time before the drive thru tech turned around and rudely asked if I was here for a vaccine. I told her yes and she stated there was a wait. I told her that's fine but I also have an appointment. She said that doesn't matter, there's still a long wait and she doesn't know how long because they are too busy to do them. I asked her if we even need an appointment then and she said no and she doesn't believe in them because they don't follow them anyways. She said they had 83 refills, drive-through, walk-ins, flu shots, order pick ups and then vaccines. I asked if the vaccines were a bottom priority in this pandemic and gov mandated in some places and she scoffed at me then said no it's a number one priority that they just don't have time for. I asked her when would be a better time and she said probably after 3pm (my appointment was 11:45 am) but they will be too busy then to do them also. She was entirely rude, did not get me checked in and told me essentially they don't have time for any of this so don't come back. This is quite literally a government standard at this point in time and to treat someone that way who is coming to get the shot is absolutely unacceptable and should be addressed immediately as I am sure it is against some sort of compliance and conduct to treat customers that way especially regarding this issue. read more

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I went in on Tuesday with my sons to buy a box of chocolates to take to their Grandma. For whatever reason their chip reader wasn't working and they absolutely refused to help in any way. They either had no ability, or willingness, to key in the card numbers manually, which is ridiculous considering those chips just don't work sometimes. They watched my children walk out the door with tears in their eyes because they were afraid their Grandma would be disappointed that they were showing up empty handed. read more

They have an automated phone system to refill prescriptions. It doesn't understand "yes" and "no" consistently. During the call you will be asked "do you have another prescription"? Should it interpret a "yes" to that question there doesn't seem to be a way out if you don't actually have another script to be filled. I had to abandon the first call when I punched in all 3 of my medications in one go and it didn't understand a "no" and kept trying to get input on a fourth. Currently waiting on hold with their customer service. Why is this so painful? Walgreens, please bring back the touch-tone option! read more

This is your basic Walgreen's, but it has a medical clinic and it's open 24 hours, including the pharmacy. I haven't had to use it yet late at night (thank God!) but it's good to know it's there in case of emergency. It's right across Metcalf from a 24-hour CVS store, so between the two of them you should be able to find just about anything you need! read more

So the sad thing about this review is that Walgreens really isn't that great, BUT, they garner three stars because CVS across the street has just terrible customer service in their pharmacy and comparatively, they are SO much better than CVS. We had switched all of our prescriptions over to Walgreens quite some time ago because the CVS pharmacy was astoundingly bad in our experience. But sadly, my company changed insurance providers and we are now compelled to use CVS/Caremark. Last night we made a trip to the CVS pharmacy and it reminded me of all the reasons why we switched to Walgreens. So there are some positive things about the Walgreens pharmacy that CVS cannot compete with, the first of which is drive-through service. Believe me, going to a pharmacy is much more pleasant if you can take care of your transactions from the comfort of your bucket seat with some soothing tunes playing. Also, the manager at the Walgreens pharmacy was very helpful in getting me a prescription medication that CVS couldn't be bothered with (the manufacturer even sent them free drug and they lost it/discarded it) and the staff at both CVS and Walgreens claimed didn't exist (it did). Generally speaking, the staff at the Walgreens pharmacy are more pleasant and helpful than their ugly cousin across the street and it is simply a nicer experience to use Walgreens than CVS. Are they great? No. There are several frustrating things that have happened while trying to get meds from the Walgreens pharmacy, but if I had a choice (and I do not have a choice any more), I would pick this Walgreens over the CVS across the street 100% of the time. read more

This pharmacy is so slow. You tell them you'll be back in an hour to pick up, they say an hour and a half. They can never seem to figure it out in a reasonable amount of time. I asked the clerk if I were to come in and wait if it would be an hour and a half. His answer? "No it would be 25 min" With that said, I came back in an hour and 45 min and my prescriptions still were not ready!! I wish I wasn't required to fill my scripts through Walgreens (insurance reasons) because I'd much rather fill somewhere else. read more

My wife had a pharmacist badge thrown at her because the pharmacy techs (who were older adults) were too busy joking around with each other. Last thing we wanted to deal with after 30 hours in the hospital. Management was no help with the issue either. Being a former Walgreens employee I normally like to choose them, but in the future I will use the CVS across the street if I need a 24 hour pharmacy. read more

I checked in and they had forgotten to enter it in the computer. 20 more min. Check in again and was told to wait 10 more min. Add in the crazy long lines and I was waiting over an hour for medicine. Walgreenss is the best place to get emergency gifts or stuff for yourself. I love that they are good prices and very affordable. They are every Where you go in town. Every time it's my grandparents birthday I always stop through there and get myself a card for them. Walgreens is my life saver. read more

I loved this Walgreens. I have been shopping with them for almost 10 years. The pharmacy is great, the staff is usually great. That changed last year when I was pregnant and picking up meds, and stopped at the front desk to pay for my other purchases. The front desk lady, who is a older black women, was so rude that I left the store upset and in tears. I called to complain, and the manager at the time apologized and said he would review the tapes and have a talk with her. I stopped getting my prescriptions and my other purchases there because I didn't want to have to go to her to be rung up.. Today 2/26/2019 I went in and she was working the front desk. She doesn't say hello to anyone, when I went with my boxes of Kleenexes that I had stacked up cause I didn't get a cart, I carried them, she took them one at a time and forcefully separated them on the counter. She rang me up, without saying a word, didn't hand me my coupons, didn't ask if I had a walgreens card, and didn't hand me my receipt even though I had my hand out. She is the epitome of what Customer service should be like. I honestly think that she might be the reason people stopped going in there because she is my reason on why I refuse to shop there anymore or have my prescriptions filled there. Also, as my co-worker is reading this, she said oh I know what lady you're talking about. I went in there last week to buy Kleenexes and candy and was taking them out of my cart tossing them on the counter and the same lady said, "don't throw them at me," and which my co-worker said, Ma'am I wouldn't do that I was just tossing them on your counter, and the lady said, "well, you never know because I'm black." What does the color have to do with anything because my coworker is a 60 white woman, the 60 year old black woman throws a race comment? My co-worker shut that down cause her nieces and nephew is mixed. Why would you keep someone there that makes comments like that to people, and is rude to everyone else including pregnant women? read more

HORRIBLE treatment by pharmacist-not the first occasion, either. I called with a question about my medication and I was treated like a criminal even though I rarely fill the medicine and have been on the lowest dosage offered (not that I need to justify this to a pharmacist, who is NOT my doctor). I didn't get her name because she literally bullied me off the phone. She did have a bit of an accent so I think I will be able to know who she is if I return. Walgreens: I am telling everyone I know how unacceptable this is. You may not need every customer, but this is no way to run a business. Tell your pharmacists and techs that your long-time customers (myself included) deserve to be treated with respect - and to keep their judgements out of other people's quality of life. Shame on you.
