The pharmacists are typically rude, a today they closed for lunch a minute early while making eye contact with me in the line. We could've had my transaction in less than a minute man. So then I come back after 20 minutes and every single pharmacist is working - maybe they are gumpy because they deal with grumpy people like me all day, or maybe they are grumpy because they don't get time to eat lunch. read more

I'm so glad they have scheduled appointments and pre check in when it doesn't actually matter at all. I had an appointment at 5pm for a TB test reading. I showed up and checked in at 4:55. I was not helped until 5:29. Of course I planned it at 5 because I had another obligation at 5:30. So because of CVS gross inefficiencies my day has been greatly inconvenienced. Just wish the respect and timeliness I show was reciprocated on all ends. And for all of you who goes that isn't that bad, I was the only person there except for one other guy. We both were waiting on they called him first. So either they were behind by multiple appointments or they just messed up. Either way not one word was said of, "oh i'm sorry for the delay" or "sorry to keep you waiting" but nothing. My test took 1 minute to read and they knew what I was there for. I'm giving them 3 stars because being one of the few 24h drugstores has come in handy on several occasions with injuries I needed supplies for. However the key words are 24 hours - and they're frequently not. Sometimes a note is on the door saying they closed early (no further explanation) or sometimes the store isn't open at all when they should be. The hours not being reliable is irritating and very inconvenient. This location seems severely understaffed as well which means if the store is even moderately busy after self-check is closed, you're going to be waiting for a while. *Sigh*. I'll start this out by saying, thankfully our COVID tests were negative. As much as I've never wanted to shove a cotton swab far up my nose, CVS made the process, quick and simple. I wanted a rapid test and was able to book one online easily. At my scheduled appointment time I went inside, provided my info, give a brief "how to swab your nose properly" overview and self administered the swab. It was simple, easy, painless and I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. They called with the negative results 30 mins after leaving. I was definitely satisfied at the ease of booking and the quickness of the appointment. read more

The pharmacy is understaffed 100% of the time. If you show up at 7am, one guy is working and you have to wait. If you show up at noon, 3-4 people are working but the line is around the turn style. The pharmacists are very nice but I feel badly for them as they are under so much pressure and really are in a losing battle. read more

Pharmacy Still Don't Work -2-25-2022-Since they redid the parking lot for small Smart Cars only. There is no room to drive three or park in the spots. Hard to get out of the property since the two exits are right turn online at the corner of a stop light. MOST IMPORTANT part of the Yelp is their Phones don't work. Their phones don't ring at the pharmacy. You can wait on hold for ever and they don't ring in pharmacy!!!. Text messages don't work to notify you that the prescription is Filled. The persons at the pharmacy counters can't hear. Lack of staff. Long lines. read more

I always end up here late on Sunday nights...once a month, you know how these things go. Either way, this past Sunday the discount card they use for my prescription's network was down, so the pharmacist on duty told me to call back the next day and she would refund me the difference from what I paid and my normal amount, sorry stay with me here. So cut to the phone call. These things could go a lot of ways. Phones and such and days pass--I began explaining my situation over the phone and the pharmacist on the other end stopped me and said, "Kevyn?" (my real name) and I said, "yes!" She said, "Go ahead and give me your credit card number and I'll refund you the money and recharge it at the lower price." She did that quickly and said, "Okay! I'll mail these receipts out to your home address!" At a quarter to midnight no less. Talk about WAY easier than it could have been. I've always been a fan of CVS, but this one is my new favorite. read more

Normally I head across the street to Walgreen for my over the counter meds. On this occasion I was on the hunt for liquid acetaminophen. Major brands have been recalled and my wife read online that CVS was making their own generic brand. Unfortunately there was none in stock and no one to ask about that. Overall the store was clean and well stocked. The check out cashier appeared to be the only other person working outside of the pharmacy. She was friendly and efficient. The outside of this location could really really use a facelift. The parking lot is pretty treacherous and difficult to get out of during high traffic times. We still come here fairly often ONLY because they have good coupons for their card holders. This is what lures me back time and again. BUT, we switched all of our prescriptions to the Walgreens across the street following this scenario: Brought in my prescriptions for a slightly lesser known brand of a medication and needed that name brand. The pharmacist informed me that they're no longer making the dose that I needed. Went home and researched it. Yes, they were still making it. The pharmacist lied and/or never bothered to check beyond their own shelves. Great! Called CVS pharmacy back to inform them that they were wrong and to ask if they could please order my medication from their distributor. Spoke with another pharmacist who also told me I was lying and that they could not/would not check into getting my medication because I could not possibly be right. Really? Because that's pretty f*cked up. Isn't the customer always right? Or at least sometimes right? So my next step? I personally contacted the manufacturer of the drug and they said they often run into these scenarios with CVS pharmacies but said they spoke with the CVS pharmacy manager and had arranged to ship the CVS pharmacy bottles of medication in my dosage free of charge! Free! So it would be pure profit for CVS until those bottles were gone. Great! Win-win for me and CVS, right? Not exactly... So I called CVS and asked to speak with the manager and mentioned that free bottles were on the way and would be there in two days and wanted to confirm that my prescription would be filled upon receipt. The manufacturer even called me to confirm when the package was signed for at CVS. When I went back to get my prescription, I was told that no package was never received, no contact had been made by the manufacturer and I was again accused of lying and was told once again that the drug is not available. At this point, I was really frustrated. What a steaming load of crap. So this is what led me to run across the street to Walgreens where they were able to order in the medication from their distributor. Mind you, they also claimed the medication wasn't available, but after talking with the pharmacy manager, they called the distributor and found out that it indeed was. I am now getting my medication regularly and without hassle from Walgreens. I still have no freakin' idea what CVS did with the *free* shipment of medication that was sent to them, but I cannot imagine the circumstances under which I would ever have a prescription filled again by these people. What scares me is that this pharmacy is so disorganized and I no longer have any comfort level in their competence to fill prescriptions accurately after this experience. read more

I love this minute clinic (or whatever it's called). It's my favorite one. The store is older and the check out girl was kind of one of those people that gets too involved with your purchases. "Oh, I like blueberries too!" "You must be thirsty today to buy 4 drinks!" Weird comments about every item you get, but whatev... maybe it's because I was sick that I just let it slide and didn't poke her straight in the eyes like I wanted to. read more

They are always busy and there us always a wait. Seems like they ever only have one person working the front, but they usually have 3-4 in the pharmacy. So pharmacy is pretty fast, it is if you go in for OTC stuff that you have to wait. It is clean and everyone is friendly. They have all the basic stuff and are very helpful in finding what you need. read more

This is your basic CVS, but it has a medical clinic and it's open 24 hours, including the pharmacy. I haven't had to use it yet late at night (thank God!) but it's good to know it's there in case of emergency. It's right across Metcalf from a 24-hour Walgreens store, so between the two of them you should be able to find just about anything you need! read more

I enjoy shopping at CVS when I need health products, you know, aspirin, foot medicine, that kind of stuff. Went there last night for diet strawberry or orange soda. I found Diet Sunkist. They have a good variety of snacks and Burt Bees products, aside of Epsom salt and the like. read more

Had to get a TB test for work and it was taken care of in no time at all. There is an gentleman who works there as a cashier that has great customer service skills . I love this CVS. The people that work in the pharmacy here are top-notch. I usually don't have to wait very long, if at all. I used to go to Walgreens a long time ago, and I quit going there because they announced what meds I had ready to the whole store! The people who work in the MinuteClinic here are also very professional, patient, and friendly. The coupons that CVS offers through it's ExtraCare card save me a lot of money! read more

I go here because it is close and the walgreen across the street is hard to get in and out of compared to the CVS. I really only use the Pharmacy. They get your order in within the allotted hour but thats about it. They are nice to your face but good luck accomplishing anything by phone. I call to check my prescription and get put on hold every single time. I have time to go there and get in line before they ever come back off hold. I just did yesterday and I was the only one in line and all I could here was an automated voice from there phone system, "Pharmacy call holding....pharmacy call holding".
