During my last oil change, mechanics overfilled my oil and didn't seat the dipstick upon finishing, causing potential engine damage and a massive oil blowout throughout my engine and all over the underbelly of my vehicle. Shameriffic Shine cleaned the mess up and recommended a garage that would be honest and fix the issues caused by the wreckless work of the mega garage I won't mention. They went above and beyond, removing everything--seats, console, carpet--just to make sure every bit of water was gone. Despite how intensive the work became, they never once complained. Instead, they kept me constantly updated with progress and pictures, and somehow had it finished way sooner than I ever expected. I'm beyond grateful. Charlie's Car Wash provides me a consistent, top-notch level of service each time I come by. Sure, I could do the wash myself, but when time is an issue and I'm going to get the same result, I will pay for the convenience factor. I signed up for one of the unlimited monthly wash plans ($40-ish) and I have absolutely gotten my money's worth out of that contract. I just pull up to the gate, the system recognizes my license plate and pulls up my options, and I drive right over to the entryway. The whole process takes maybe one minute from entry to exit. If I want extras, such as a hand detail, then I am given an option to tag that on to my overall order. The vacuums are free, they are easy to pull into, and there's always one open. You can always add a hand-detail option for $25-ish and I'd bet you would be very pleased with the level of detailed service that is provided! I know that some people can be finicky about who touches their car, but I feel pretty safe that my sweet ride gets treated carefully and mindfully each and every time. No fuss, no muss, and everyone is always friendly. Maybe a monthly subscription isn't in your range, but it's a deal if you are going weekly or more (like me) and gets my full seal of recommendation. Either way, Charlie's treats you right and delivers excellent service and value.

    ***BEWARE*** - Damage to vehicle + rude, dismissive management…read more Been an unlimited wash member for years, going to this particular location, with complete understanding what NORMAL brush-car washes will and can do (i.e., swirling). However, went through this car wash today and immediately noticed multiple scratches on the hood that were not there before. In fact, there's documentation from a dealership there was NO damage whatsoever, particularly the scratches that this carwash had just caused, merely a few hours earlier, the same morning as this incident. It's a brand new car so the typical "that was already there" or "its a used car" BS baseless claims from this company, and particularly from this location and manager, won't be useful to them. When I asked the manager Taylor if he could "come check out my car" and look at it, his first words were literally "that sucks." From there, instead of actually inspecting anything or taking the situation seriously, he immediately gets defensive and said there was "no way our brushes could have done that, they don't spin in that way at all." No investigation, no camera check, no documentation of the issue -- just instant denial. When I continued to calmly ask him to simply look into/address what clearly occurred inside this car wash, he proceeds to call me rude for raising the concern at all. Insanely backwards interaction. There was zero willingness to actually evaluate what happened. The focus was entirely on shutting the conversation down and deflecting responsibility rather than even acknowledging the damage or documenting a claim. Bottom line: if something goes wrong here, don't expect any semblance of accountability -- you'll be baselessly dismissed and blamed. Based on other reviews, this exact situation seems to be the standard operating procedure with this "manager" and location involving similar complaints about both vehicle damage and dismissive handling of customer concerns. REPLY FROM BUSINESS: "Hi, Joey. Thank you for visiting Tidal Wave Auto Spa in Prairie Village, KS. We take every damage claim seriously. To investigate your claim, please notify an attendant on site. Hopefully we can resolve any issues and you catch the happy wave next time you visit us." RESPONSE: Your "manager" completely dismissed the damage, called me "rude" for bringing it to his attention, and then walked away. He refused to investigate. The complaint has been filed appropriately with Corporate regarding the damage as well as the manager's "customer service." *Preservation Notice* You are hereby placed on notice to preserve any and all evidence related to this incident, including: Surveillance footage; Equipment maintenance logs; Incident reports (if any); and Employee records for personnel on duty at the time.
