The last time we were here it was primarily because it was a hot summer day, the ice cream machine was out at IKEA, and we decided we'd stop here for a little cheap snack. I ended up ordering an ice cream sundae, and I'm not kidding, if you all haven't had a QT milkshake or ice cream sundae you're missing out. This is the place. It's old, it's dirty, you can barely understand a word of the employee's thick accent. Go ahead and ask him a question if you dare. Prepare to just smile and nod, still not knowing the answer. Someone once told me an employee got shot in an armed robbery. I looked up the news article and confirmed. Dude was shot with a shotgun but survived. For awhile afterward, the doors would be locked at night and an employee would come let you in. I'm really amazed that the place is still open for business, considering all the nice Quik Trip's there are nearby. But maybe there are people like me who want the Simpson's Kwik-E-Mart experience. All that's missing is an arcade game and a payphone.
