Pharmacy techs are very friendly. Pharmacist was so very rude I was physically upset.

This pharmacy is by far the finest I've ever used. I've gone so far as using outpatient hospital pharmacies for my scripts to assure that the medication will be in stock. I moved to Walgreens because the hospital outpatient pharmacy was not getting meds ordered and never informed me they didn't have it until I arrived to pick it up. No discounts available and became too costly. Walgreens staff is exceptional providing a call if there is a problem. Scripts are processed and best discount applied and ready for pickup quickly. If need to be ordered I can pick up next day. I don't understand the bad reviews as I have experienced bad pharmacies over the years and in my opinion Walgreens has been exceptional in every way. Wouldn't go anywhere else. read more

I definitely want to give a shoutout to the crew for their positive and helpful attitudes. I went in several times this week for photos and photo books. Each time i arrived, I was greeted with a warm welcome by the different cashiers, along with "can I help you"? Leadership skills were definitely displayed by the manager, Clayton. He went out of his way to help me, and I appreciated it. Very few stores are lucky to have a manager and crew like this one who keep customers coming back! A sincere thank you to everyone who helped me! read more

This a pretty standard Walgreens location. It's the one I frequent the most so after several visits over the past few years it's about time for an honest review. First of all let's be clear, this is a Walgreens, it doesn't need to be the best thing ever, it just needs to be an efficient pharmacy, that's friendly, and gets your medication to you in a timely manner. While overall my experience here has been ok, there have been a few things that have been problematic. The biggest issue I had with this location came a few months ago when my daughter was prescribed a specific medication that needed to run a certain amount of days to be effective. When I pulled up to get the medication I saw them pour some out of the bottle before they handed it to me, which seemed odd but I figured they were trying to ration what they had or maybe it was policy to not give you too much? either way, I paid and went on my way. When we had about two days left we straight up ran out of her medication which elicited several calls to the pharmacy and to her dr to find out what to do. Long story short, she was fine, and the pharmacy offered to give us more at no extra cost but it was a massive pain to have to do all of this when they could have just filled the prescription correctly the first time. I've had a few other smaller issues with this Walgreens but it's the most convenient location for me so I'll likely continue to go here and hope they can make some improvements. read more

It was a miserable experience. Only one clerk, and one manager in the store, and the clerk didn't know how their coupons worked, or the sales going on, or where items were. And she was extremely slow at the register. Couldn't answer any of my questions about their coupons, and said we'd just have to ring everything up and see if they work, and if not then "un-ring" everything! So she did, and nothing worked as it should've. Laundry products that were "BO/get 2 free" rang up as buy 3/get 1 free and she couldn't figure out any way to make it work. I asked for the manager, who took her time while others were lining up behind me. Finally she looked at the 3 things I was buying and said "Well you can't get 3 different things, that's why!" But that's exactly what their sale was. She then insisted no, that was only online not in the store, which I knew was not true. You could get any 3 options among the various products available, BO/get 2 free. I suggested she go look at the signage. She kept insisting I was wrong. More comedy of errors after that. We were at a showdown standstill. I then requested she un-ring everything and start over, which the manager finally did just to show me how wrong I was. And lo and behold...it came out exactly as I said, buy ANY 1, get ANY 2 others of your choice free! Just to pay for 5 things, it took well over an hour. They had several other sales going on for other things I had in my cart, but I just said "I give up. You can take them back. Goodbye." read more

Don't ever get a Covid 19 test taken by Walgreens!!! I had a PR Covid 19 test taken on Nov 18th, 2022. By Nov 22th I had not received my results. After contacting the actual lab, I found out that they never received my test. When contacting Walgreen, they said that it was a delayed but FedX but I don't believe it. Whe I first contacted them they couldn't find my records but after searching they did find them. I received my Negative results this morning (11/24/22) If I had gotten my results in the normal time, I would have had a great Thanksgiving with my family on Thanksgiving and my daughter in TN would have been here for the last week. Walgreens ruined my holiday plans. I'll never shop there again. read more

This Walgreens location always goes above and beyond to make sure our critical prescriptions are available and filled. We've gotten vaccines here as well with very good service. read more

Pharmacy has major safety concerns! I picked up an oral antibiotic for my baby that was suppose to be given twice daily for 10 days. By day 8 I realize there is not enough medication to last that long. I call the pharmacy who stated 'it must have been made wrong' and to come back in to pick up an additional bottle to cover the last 2 days. I asked twice if this would be overdosing my child and she said 'no'. I'm sorry, but I've been a nurse for 11 yrs. If the full recommend 400mgs of medication is given and you tell me to (assuming the next bottle is made correctly) to give 4 more additional doses equalling 80mgs.... you are overdosing my child over the recommended dose. If they can screw up a child's simple antibiotic... there's no telling what other serious medication errors they could be potentially making! read more

I haven't used the pharmacy, but when I dashed in here to grab a last minute thing on the way to a friend's house, I was greeted warmly by the cashier, Bob. He even offered to print me out a new Rewards card since the barcode was worn off of mine. I'm very happy with the customer service I experienced here. read more

Had a Covid PCR test done at their drive thru Pharmacy by appointment, but reservation notice was delayed so it took longer than necessary for the test to be given. According to their direction the results will be emailed within 24 to 48 hrs... Test was taken on the Friday before Thanksgiving. Results came in on Thursday, Thanksgiving morning.. Walgreens said FedEx had the delay and test didn't make it to the lab until the day before Thanksgiving. I'm not happy about missing Thanksgiving day with my family. read more

Pharmacist denied a 21-year-old man with Down syndrome a 2nd COVID booster. When presented with his Hashimoto's diagnosis, a immunocompromised condition,, she walked away, rubbed her temples and cried in a corner because we pressed her to check his eligibility. So unprofessional. Her nonmedical store manager declined the vaccine as well, stating that she was "overwhelmed." I think the real issue was that we challenged her intelligence. She had never heard of this common thyroid disorder. Put on your big girl pants, pharma girl and act lime a medical professional. read more

Either this place does not train their staff or they have the intelligence of a gnat. I asked the cashier to do a split payment and she without hesitation said she was unable to do this simple task. After leaving I called and asked to speak to the manager and was put on hold for over 10 minutes. I finally hung up in frustration, I normally have no issue with the store at 75th and Metcalf. Making me consider taking my business to CVS. read more

Really great service - great management - always really friendly and helpful whenever I come. They really do have a lot of stuff that you wouldn't expect - like memory cards and seasonal t-shirts and my reason to occasionally stop in - King Hawaiian bread. Am addicted to this stuff. read more

The staff is friendly, and safe, but their prices are outrageously ridiculous. I was looking for a brace and the same thing here was three times more expensive than a brand name at Sheels. The medicine was triple the price of what it would be at Target. I may go in for a drink or something from time to time but other than that I'll stick with Target and Walmart. read more

Zero stars! This is the closest Walgreens to my home and has the absolute worst service. The merchandise service is average to poor, and the Pharmacy is horrible. Either they are out of your medication or can only do a partial refill. Tonight was the final straw for they after being stuck in the pharmacy drive through from 6:10 until 6:45 and I was 2nd in the line from the time I pulled up. Then the pharmacist was shocked and gave me a dirty look when I complained. I didn't yell, cuss, or call her any names either. Bye Walgreens, I'll never fill another script at a Walgreens ever again! read more

This Pharmacy is terrible. They always have attitude and never answer calls. The service is below mediocre.

I have used the pharmacy for 9 years. In the past few months there customer service in the pharmacy department has declined dramatically. I believe they have new staff that have not been properly trained. On 3 occasions in 5 months they have told Me my prescription will be ready and Upon my arrival I have been told my doctor or insurance carrier is holding up the process. After following up with my doctor and insurance carrier I have found this has not been the case on all three occasions. On one of the occasions I called my doctor directly and they verified with me that everything had been submitted to the pharmacy, when I confronted the pharmacy attendant about this they promptly filled my script. I'm taking my business elsewhere, I don't appreciate individuals or a corporation being dishonest and having employees with a lack of integrity. read more

I have never had any issues at this Walgreens. It is where we get all of our prescriptions. The pharmacy has always been very easy to deal with. The prices seem to be okay as well, especially if you get one of their BOGO deals. read more

The pharmacy at this Walgreens is the worst. Twice now my insurance didn't cover the full cost of a prescription so they simply don't fill it. You get a recorded message saying it has been delayed. After you call and tell them to fill it you have to wait hours because they are "backed-up." The store is nice but have your prescriptions filled elsewhere. read more

this brand spanking new Walgreens on the southwest corner of Antioch and 95th Street is GORGEOUS. the Walgreens site has it listed as 9500 Antioch Road but the receipt has the address above i opened the category on. i watched it being built and was way happy when i heard it was open since its just round the corner and near other errand stops i have and much easier than dealing with the traffic on the north of 95th. i went in today to shop and found it well worht the wait and also the overhaul of all the businesses in that shopping plaza is more extensive than i realized and am looking forward to see what goodies the shopping plaza will have for its customers besides this new Walgreens. so those of you looking for a lovely new drugstore here is the answer! read more

I'd say face value this Walgreens is, in general, okay. I stop here to get cards sometimes and they get me in and out. However, their pharmacy is an absolute pain to deal with. Obviously in a hurry to be doing anything other than helping you. Literally on hold for 20-30 minutes before I can get ahold of anyone for any reason and when they do finally answer the phone, they are short and snippy. read more

Today I filled a prescription and paid $99.99 for a drug that cost $37.00 last month. On questioning I was told that the manufacturer had TRIPLED the price - a price increase that hasn't been experienced by CVS, Wal-Mart, or even the GoodRX site for Walgreens. A promised return call didn't happen and when I called back was told the same manufacturer story. A requested call from the manager didn't happen either. Someone at Walgreens made a mistake and no one will take responsibility for it. read more

We were prescribed a drug that would have cost us over $350 for 2 weeks. The pharmacy was great in that they called our doctor, discussed the recent changes in the drug formula (which is why it cost so much) and helped us find an affordable alternative. Our son is on the mend! read more

I've always gone to Walgreens over their competitors. No reason other than that's where I've been used to always going. This location has the same set up like many, but some of the store staff could use a customer service refresher course. I walked around for a while and nobody asked if I could be helped. Two employees even past me in the aisles and said nothing. There were plenty of staff around yet they let the checkout line get really long before opening up the other register. read more
