The ONLY reason we keep our scripts here is because they are the closest 24-7 pharmacy near us and sometimes we have crazy hours and need to be able to pick up our prescriptions at all times. Honestly, they would benefit from a complete overhaul. Half their staff at the pharmacy here has no idea what they're doing. You can clearly tell there is a gap in training. if you do not need a 24 hour pharmacy I do not recommend this one at all.

Especially when the company's servers are so backed up they crash, their app malfunctions, and you cannot get anyone by phone, you have no recourse, but go to a store and try to find some things you need...at the very last minute. The Walgreen's employees were great! This is certainly not the way I expected to ring in the new year, especially after spending 8 hours trying to accomplish what should have been an easy task, and was anything but, because United Healthcare sucks!

CVS does this coast-to-coast and executes a fairly consistent experience. This location is my preferred pharmacy and they generally meet or exceed my expectations. If you use the CVS app, then you can manage your prescriptions and get notifications when refills or new prescriptions are ready. It's a fairly seamless experience; you can tailor your experience however you like. At this location, you can pick up your prescriptions in store or via the drive-through and there is always someone working either side. Same thing goes for the MinuteClinic. You can make appointments online, submit your intake paperwork, and be seen same day. They offer routine immunizations, wellness visits, and minor medical needs. I find the nurse practitioners to be friendly and skilled, and I enjoy having this convenience. My only knock is that the pharmacy does close down between 1:30-2:00 each day. That's not a real inconvenience, as I know when their hours are, but I have been tripped up by it before. CVS also is big into automation, as if the app is not enough, self-service kiosks will let you check out quickly. The store is clean and well-stocked and provides a neighborhood convenience that definitely evolves with consumer patterns. P.S. And they print the LONGEST receipts of any chain.

I rarely go to this Walmart neighborhood market. The store itself inside is generally clean and…read moreorganized. The service is just OK in the grocery part of the store. They mostly have self-serve kiosks. My main complaint about this particular Walmart is their Pharmacy. My husband used to have his Pharmacy orders sent here. Every single time that either one of us would pick up his prescriptions we couldn't stand the service. The workers at the pharmacy are completely slow and not that friendly. They also often have medication that is not in stock and my husband will have to wait for his medication. They also have an irritating policy that after you've been waiting in the outdoor drive up line forever, they make you wait for a pharmacist to ask you if you have any questions about the medication or some other stupid question. This is particularly irritating because this pharmacy is very slow in the drive-through and it's just another step that is not necessary, especially if someone has been on a medication for years and picks it up every month! They will say that it's federal law that they have to do that and it may be for their particular pharmacy, but I don't think that is for all pharmacies. I get my prescriptions at Walgreens, which is way better and they do not do this unless there is an interaction between a new medication and current medications or it's a brand new medication that you're starting. I used to have my prescriptions at another Walmart pharmacy that did not have a drive-through and that Pharmacy was also so awful. So the two stars is for the store part of the location, but it was just based on the Pharmacy, it would be a -1!! My husband actually switched his prescriptions to Walgreens and I had to go back to this location yesterday because the nurse accidentally sent it to Walmart instead of Walgreens. We will be getting it switched back!

I moved to Walgreens because the hospital outpatient pharmacy was not getting meds ordered and never informed me they didn't have it until I arrived to pick it up. No discounts available and became too costly. Walgreens staff is exceptional providing a call if there is a problem. Scripts are processed and best discount applied and ready for pickup quickly. If need to be ordered I can pick up next day. I don't understand the bad reviews as I have experienced bad pharmacies over the years and in my opinion Walgreens has been exceptional in every way. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

Back in the 60's I had a boss that had a big drinking problem as well as philandering around town. Inside Hen House, Lenexa I would be most surprised if those things were going on. The store is always neat and clean. Never an issue with the employees, only great customer service. A well-run venue with the right employees on the payroll. Keep up the good work.
