The compounded prescriptions take longer to fill than regular prescriptions. I've had another one years before, and they usually take about four days to fill. They got my prescription and called me to verify it. Because my prescription is not covered by insurance they waited to get my approval for price before they started making it. I called back four days later and they said it would be ready today and I got a text shortly afterwards that it was ready. I went in and the cashier was very nice and she asked if I would like to speak to the pharmacist and I said yes. So I spoke to a female pharmacist and she was very explanatory and helpful on the prescription and exactly how to use it and even more detailed information. I would recommend them for the compounding pharmacy, I don't use them for regular prescriptions so I don't know about that particular service.,

This is the type of pharmacy that you want to use when you have chronic health issues that require knowledgable pharmacy staff, as well as doctors. Update 5/2013: Albers now has a total of three locations. Also, I reiterate my praise for all of the staff, not just the Pharm.D.'s - they truly have an operation that runs as smoothly as any in town, and better than most. Extremely helpful, and I believe that they can be competitive on price if you are without insurance. Specifics on that would be inappropriate; however an inquiry can be worth your time!

Pharmacy staff told me that I could get a 6 week supply for $300 for my 1.7 mg weekly dose. I had already paid for my 3rd refill when I realized they have only been giving me a 4 week supply, so basically I overpaid by $300! I might as well have stayed with Reflexmd. When I picked up my third refill they gave me a convoluted explanation that sometimes you get 4 weeks sometimes it's 6 weeks and the shelf life of 28 days in the vial. I wish I would have known that from the start!! I will be filing a complaint with the pharmacy board and any other governing body. I should have checked and I thought it looked like a small volume for each refill but I trusted them because they're a local pharmacy. Stupid. Check the amount they give you and make sure it's what they said!!

While I was hospitalized a pharmacist came up to my room and explained each medication, the side effects and the importance of why I am taking that particular medicine with my condition. Then I tried hiding the pill in a pill pocket, Velveeta cheese, peanut butter, ham, scrambled eggs, roast beef, cheddar cheese, five or six different wet dog foods and American cheese to no avail.. I was trying to find Limburger cheese figuring the strong smell might mask the odor of the pill. Then someone mentioned compounding her medicine into a liquid at special pharmacy. I looked up one relatively close to me and found Georgetown. I was skeptical as to how my dog would react to a liquid. The pharmacist said he could add either a beef or chicken flavor plus a little bit of sweetness and showed me how to fill the syringe. At home my dog gobbled her kidney food and her medication down and begged for more! I was estatic. The pharmacist also suggested buying a larger size than what my vet prescribed to save money. He contacted my vet for a new prescription. I am so thankful I found Georgetown. They are kind and so helpful.

But it is a fully functioning soda fountain with milkshakes, malts, ice cream, floats and the whole works. The malt I had was undermixed and underwhelming. The cheeseburger was awful: a frozen patty cooked by a teenager on a gas grill outside the entrance. Foodwise there is not much to choose from but there are a ton of drinks as well as Broadway cafe coffee. The atmosphere is weird, really nothing like a true old school soda fountain. This is not the kind of strange place that is even remotely charming. I'm giving them two stars simply because they are a soda fountain and have some beverages that are not readily available. But it would be much much better if they just lost the food and concentrated on good ice cream and soda fountain fare.

Their billing service has a lot of room for improvement. After multiple appeals to Medicare, it was determined that Reliable charged in error. Medicare advised that we were best to find a different DME provider. We have done so and now have a good customer experience elsewhere.
