I came in during noon on Monday so there was only one other customer there, I highly recommend this time of day to avoid the bustle of typical salon visits. Plenty of booths so I find it hard to believe you'll ever be waiting unless they are running short on staff (gotta love that). The pedicure chairs do look a bit worn, but definitely won't minimize the quality of your massage. Jenny is incredible! Well I just found out about this but apparently my girlfriend went here a few months ago to get her nails done, and from what I was told it Almost sounds like she was harassed here. Apparently a man that worked there was doing her nails and he was trying to force a hug on her and kept repeating the sentence "what would your boyfriend do if I hugged you?" Now I'm not the type of person to get upset unless it comes to people I care about. Just know that this is the type of service you pay for when you come here. Wins: This place has a wonderful staff and a great feel! I loved how the staff was genuinely interested in what I was doing in life. The place seems very family oriented. A husband and wife did me and my friend's nails. It was so fun! Areas that need development: My only hold up was that there was a lack of clarity on how my nails were to be done. I wanted SnS, and they gave it to me. I had never had SnS done, so I went for the cheaper manicure of the 2 because I didn't want to spend money on the massage. What I did not realize is that they would not push your cuticles back unless you go for the more expensive package (every manicure I have ever been apart of pushes back manicures except for this one). I found that strange. It's been a week since I have had them done and they're already coming off. The promise was that they would last four weeks, but since he didn't do cuticle care, I don't think mine are going to last very long. It would have been nicer for him to have taken care of that or at least warned me and I might have paid more money to have them pushed back. I called Oasis to see if they were busy and had a wait time. The man on the phone told me "no wait time you can come in". I arrive there and see there's only 3 nail techs one being the man I spoke with on the phone. Each one of them were already dealing with clients which I didn't mind I respect having to wait for my turn to be serviced. Once they finally sat me down (which took about 5-10 minutes) the man started to file my nails stopped in the middle of it to go back to the client he was working on having me wait another 5-7 minutes again I remained calm and patient. He came back started to do the process, as he was playing the nails on one of them were extremely crooked and when I spoke up about it he shut me down saying "I'm not done with it" mind you he already put the nail glue on once he realized how crooked it was he fixed it. He then began to what felt like rushing to finish because the shop started to get busy. There was not much conversation unless I initiated it which I didn't like so much but to each their own. I got sns french tip and let me tell you the French tips on all my fingers ARE NOT EVEN. The nail on my pinky fingers are not at equal lengths. I voiced to him this was my first time trying these kind of nails out hoping that would have made him worked harder because it was also my first time ever coming here. Once he finished he did not put any cuticle oil on my hands nor did he offer any hand lotion I had to find some to put on my hands. Now I was going to keep my experience to myself but told while at work one of my nails snapped off which really irked my nerve I paid the full amount of the service & I also tipped. So, I read the great reviews and decided to give Oasis a try. I had S&S nails - just got them three weeks ago - so it was time to refresh, as they had grown out quite a bit. I don't have the words - when I went, the salon was empty. That should have tipped me off - I was going to get a mani pedi and decided just to get my fingers done. Long story short, it took an hour and 45 minutes for me to get a terrible looking S&S manicure. My nails are uneven, the cuticles are a mess and uneven, and now I'm stuck with this until my cuticles heal and I can go someplace decent. Oh - and it was $50, without tip. Yikes. read more

Wouldn't recommend nail oasis in guntersville I asked the lady to draw a lightning bolt (a very simple one at that) and she tried 3 times and I was very nice about it and she then said I can't do it so I'll just paint the top and u can leave and she did the top coat and u can leave and she was yanking my arm around like it was a rag doll. Went in for a dip powder. I was told that they would soak your nails to removed old dip. First thing tech pulled out her drill. Had a bowl with cold acetone in it. Put my hands in it for about a minute and kept shaving the polish off. Asked her to cut a little off my nails and she took them all the way down to the skin. I am not sure how long this dip will last because she only did 1 dip. Nails will probably start to chipping/peeling off. I have never been to a nail shop where only 1 dip was done, always 2 dip and after the first shave nails soak for about 15 minutes. I guess the tech was trying to hurry and didn't want to wait for my nails to soak. When I asked her about doing only 1 dip of course she did not respond. I am thinking to myself by now that I want be back. The kicker was when I got ready to pay she told me that I had to pay for having my dip removed. I have never been to a shop where you had to pay for having your dip/polish removed. I asked to speak to the manager and she called another tech that was right next to where I was sitting by the name of Kaylee and said she was the manager. I said no, I want to speak to the guy that was at the front desk when I came in. She would not go and get him. I left a message for him to call me. I am waiting on a response. These shops must realize that there is nail shop on every corner. Just a matter of time to find one that you like. The shop that I was going to went under new management and the quality of service dropped, otherwise I would not have visited Oasis at all. Needless to say, I want be going back ! I've been to Oasis now several times. Jenny has a wonderful staff, always treated so nicely! They are even renovating the salon and it's absolutely an oasis! I'm not picky when it comes to time limits after reading these other reviews but i was helped immediately, you're going there to relax after all! It actually kills me to have to write this review, as I have been a loyal customer there since 2013. Tommy and Jenny are wonderful and always take care of me. Why the 1 star review you ask? Well, let me elaborate. I went in this morning around 11am for a simple fill in; my nails had gotten too long and I needed them redone. So I sit down at the first chair on the 2nd row and the woman (I believe she goes by Lisa) sits down. She then proceeds to tell me that the acrylic is lifting from my nail and it needs to be replaced otherwise I will get fungus from water getting in between the acrylic and my nail. Keep in mind, I have been getting my nails done religiously for the past 15 years...my acrylic was not lifting. I tell her that I just want a fill in and that the acrylic is not lifting. SHE PROCEEDS TO START TAKING THE ACRYLIC OFF MY NAILS. She didn't even try to soak them, she's just ripping it off my nail with one of those cuticle clippers! I stop her once she gets to the 2nd finger and tell her, "Maam, I didn't ask you to do that!" She looks at me and says, "Ok, calm down. I can fix it but I don't want you blaming me when you get fungus!" I simply looked at her, picked up my purse and said, "You know what? I'm gonna go somewhere else" and I left. SHE DIDN'T EVEN CARE! She just told me to have a great day, and went in the back. Needless to say, I went to another salon and spent my money there. I even told the tech what I was told about my nails lifting and they confirmed to me that my nails were in fact NOT lifting at all. This woman simply wanted to get more money out of me! If she had simply asked my permission, we would not be having this conversation, nor would I be writing this review. But she didn't, and she straight up lied to my face so I would spend more money. As a loyal customer, I don't appreciate that AT ALL. I tried calling a few hours later to speak to Tommy and was told that he is on a trip and they don't know when he will be back. Businesses these days don't care about customer service so long as they keep making money. I'm through giving my money to business that don't value my business and don't even care to treat me with the same decency I would give a stranger. My advice is for you to do the same. This establishment has lost my business and you know what? I don't even think they care. read more

This was my first visit but I was thoroughly pleased. I called the night before and asked for a 10 am appointment for a mani, dip powder, and pedicure. I was treated warmly from the moment I entered. They offered water and wine on the house. The facility was clean, smelled nice and had soothing music playing in the background. This is my second visit, and while I was excited to return, I was ultimately disappointed with the cleanliness and customer service. Regarding cleanliness, the floors were dirty (bits of nails and dirt on the main floor and under furniture) and dust covered their glass shelving. Regarding customer service, I was asking the lady that was assigned to me about the gel manicure prices. Then, I'm guessing the owner came by to clarify, which was appreciated. The prices were higher than last time so I mentioned switching to a regular manicure. Then, I can clearly tell she's talking about me to her regular customer because the lady pointed over to me and I could hear the owner! We were the only two customers in the salon, too. I found it completely unprofessional and a bit hurtful/embarrassing. Ultimately, I ended up getting the gel manicure for $38 because I was too embarrassed to stick with the regular manicure. Although I was pleased with my nails, I simply won't return due to the dirtiness and lack of kindness. This nail salon is beautiful, very classic and very clean. Jenny and her husband own the salon and she is a wonderful nail technician. Jenny cares about the health of your nails and she knows that her clientele are her walking billboards essentially. They do have other nail technicians but I can't comment on them because I only use Jenny. I constantly receive compliments on my nails and I always go for a very sheer, or natural look. The length and shape are always perfect and I can go three weeks in between visits and will still be getting compliments at the end of that 3rd week. I highly suggest calling and making an appointment with Jenny, she has her regulars but loves new clients. There is also a woman named Jennifer that is a nail technician there but I always use Jenny. Today I went with my mom and sister to Oasis Nail Spa. This is my second time here in one week.... Last week I got a manicure with SNS nails (which I love!) and today we all three got pedicures. Everyone (including the managers) are SO friendly. They are down to earth and really genuine. They also remembered my name and could refer back to our conversation earlier last week. They have very reasonable prices, a clean and updated facility, and very friendly staff!! One of the owners heard it was my sisters birthday today... So he walked next door and got her donuts while we were getting pedicures!! Oasis Nail Spa is now under new management... And they have done a great job of making sure their customers come first. I waited a hour sitting in the pedicure chair everyone before me had the same person did their nails and toes. Finally after an hour and a half the young lady started my pedicure. No apologies no conversatio. Then she sat there and farted it was stink I said what's that smell oh then she couldn't hear. Disgustin at least say excuse me and go fart somewhere else not in front of your client. So she finally get that done I sit another hour waiting for someone to do my nails. At that point I'm pissed I'm spending good money here. I'm just here visiting for two weeks this is the worst I ever experience. Probably the worse manicure I have ever gotten. Ever. I get a gel manicure every 2-3 weeks. I just moved here, so I'm looking for a new place. The color I picked out did not match the polish. I asked them why the polish was purple when I picked out a nice pale blue. They said the sample had faded, but it was the same color. I had been there a while, so I just went with the purple. He then put a clear coat on and then wiped it off with alcohol before it dried. Then he wiped all of my other nails before putting the top coat on it. Then he painted the top coat, let it dry, and again wiped it with alcohol. Then he painted another top coat. I could tell he wasn't happy with his result because he repeatedly tried different combinations of wiping with alcohol, top coat, then touching up with the color. The result was a pretty terrible, lumpy, bubbly mess. I also have polish all over my fingers. Needless to say, I won't ever go back. read more
