Buffalo chicken flatbread
Justin P.

Oasis has quality food that is relatively inexpensive. It's certainly a few steps above the cafeteria and cafe (the other options in the hospital). I am disappointed my favorite menu item, the buffalo chicken wrap, is no longer available. I opted for the buffalo chicken pizza instead, which was average and not particularly impressive. The chicken was fresh and didn't taste to cheap. The fries and wings are pretty great here. They are only open for lunch and early dinner on the weekdays, which is frustrating.

I drank a delicious white wine, the neighborhood was vibrant, filled with people on a Saturday night. Jordan gave us somw recommendations for around town, also bought me a drink as it was ny bday weekend. I have zero complaints, except that I wished I lived closer. Bravo!

He made sure to come back and check if we wanted to order another drink periodically and removed empty plates and cups. I decided to order off of their specials menu and got the Lobster Roll, which IMO could have been better. Their Espresso Martinis were really good, so I got probably 3-4 orders of these. Looking back, I wished I ordered from their regular menu as the other guests in my party enjoyed their meals. Oh well, I guess there's always a next time when I'm back in town.

09/15/26 Stopped…read morehere before our tour of Independence Hall. Quick bite with friendly service and good food. We had the bulgogi egg & cheese on an everything bagel that was hot and delicious with a soft bite on the bagel. We added a corn Taiyaki because it looked interesting. It tasted like chewy cornbread and we enjoyed it. There are a few tables downstairs where you order and even more seating and a bathroom upstairs. We opted to sit upstairs and enjoy our food at the counter seating looking out the window. There is a $0.60 per transaction fee for credit card payment. My husband was the one paying and I didn't see the sign until after he had paid for our second order. Not happy about the fee because we would have paid cash, but the business did have a sign on the register that my husband didn't read prior to paying. Just something to note so you can pay cash if, like me, you don't like paying a fee to use a credit card.

I ordered the bulgogi sandwich with lettuce and tomatoes on an everything bagel. I didn't really taste any of the traditional bulgogi seasonings you would get at a Korean place, but if you told me it was a beef breakfast sandwich I would be very happy with my order. The sandwich looked beautiful and had a nice cross section. The best part was their matcha! $5.50 for a large. I think it's an extra 50 cents for oat milk, so total $6.00 :0 I ordered a matcha latte with oat milk, and their regular sweet isn't super sweet just lightly sweetened which is perfect for me. The color was pretty nice, and the matcha was strong but not astringent. Nice seating area upstairs with outlets and a restroom. Loved the natural light coming through the large windows. I don't know when I will be back to the east coast but this was a great find.

They have a decent selection of premade cold sandwiches and salads, and a nice hot grill selection. The cold salad I ate was the only plus, very fresh and tasty. While our group of 20 was deciding between hot or cold, a very large school group came in and got into the grill line. The one cook behind the counter seemed positively bewildered (maybe he was actually a dishwasher?) and overwhelmed. When some of our kids got in line, now 30+ kids long, a manager came along and was speaking to cook who was clearly upset. When I asked manager how long he thought they'd be waiting and were they getting more help behind the grill, he replied "we weren't expecting this many people to come in", and how they weren't ready and mumbled something else about the "group leaders calling ahead". Huh? Didn't see any signage requesting that people call ahead to tell a restaurant open to the public to be, well, ready for the public who may want to eat? Pardon us to expect a large, cafeteria style cafe in a well attended public museum to be ready for lunch AT LUNCHTIME. We had to tell our disappointed students to pick from the cold selections so we could eat and be on our way for next scheduled sight. Delegates Cafe, a huge FAIL on your part.
