I went this morning and the food was good. I got the eggspanola breakfast sandwich and a hot white mocha latte with almond milk. I travel quite often and I love trying different breakfast sandwiches at every place I go. The sandwich was a lot spicier than I expected, but it still tasted really good. I just do not enjoy spicy food so much. If you do, then I would recommend the sandwich to you. The white mocha was good. Not too sweet. I think it may have tasted even better if my mouth was not on fire from the food LoL! My biggest downside for coming here was lack of interaction. You order from a screen and when they call out your name for your food the place it on a table to pickup. I have a personal preference for interaction at coffee shops. Quite a big selection of choices for each with some interesting combinations and classics. Got the havana cubano panini and it was delicious. Good ingredients, meat, and the bread was grilled just right to melt the cheese nicely. Very tasty mustard and jalapeño completed the deal. We order a bulk order from here, about 12 items, and I always respect when an establishment can get those types of orders out accurately and efficiently. Cafe square one did that for us, but my only complaint would be during a busy rush, it was hard to know if it was ready or not. We felt bad going up and asking but we ended up sitting and waiting for quite a bit extra before realizing it was ready. read more

A short walk from the hotel I was staying at, I placed an online order for pickup. I took the scenic route walking over but my order was ready when I walked in which was perfect. Quoted 20 minutes and I showed up in 15. Opted for the Eggceptional breakfast sammie and I was impressed that the sandwich was a good size (pictures are always hard to tell). Flavor was solid and the chipotle ketchup added a subtle kick. I'm always happy when a place has matcha and went outside my standard latte and went with the strawberry version with oat milk. Good balance and not too sweet, even with the purée. Would definitely order from here again when I'm in town. read more

I only ordered Dash from here 2x in row the Eggspanola was good but not amazing wish had more sauce and sort of wish did the Eggiesaurus instead with pork sausage. The Spicy Chicken Salad Panini had light heat but wish I had more sauce for this also, chicken I thought would be cold but came lukewarm with travel was good , the honey suckle latte and crème Caramel Brulee Latte both are good but pricey at $7.50 today was $9 for added expresso shot lol. Whoa This was a surprise. Been working in the Old City area for a couple months and decided to find a sandwich shop. I found Cafe Square One less than two blocks away. I ordered through Yelp and my food was ready when I arrived. The shop has some simple but clean seating so I decided to eat there. My friends and I went on a little coffee hop morning around the city and this was our third spot. Here I ordered a nutella latte from their specialty coffee selection and it was SO GOOD. Likely my favorite coffee of the day. The place was also adorable with nice decor and even bookish quotes on the wall, super cute. What really did it for me was that they're a pet friendly coffee shop and my furry bestie was able to sit inside with us while we ate and sipped our coffees. They don't have tables outside so this was especially wonderful that they allowed pets inside. Highly recommend and excited to visit again! read more

Food was excellent! There are iPads to order "to go" style and everything has a picture so you know what to expect. There were enough iPads for a few people to order at once which makes the process fast. Everything came out quickly, but no one rushed you out the door and although it was small there was plenty of space to sit and eat. I ordered at the counter, but later realized that they also had a kiosk at the side. You can order from either. The wait time was about 15-20 minutes when ordering in person, and ordering for pick up is also available with a wait time of 25-45 minutes. AMBIANCE Ample seating is available inside the store. Husband got a muffin that was good. Service was fine, you order at a kiosk and they bring it out to you. Everyone was pleasant. The interior and upkeep of the place bummed me out a bit, it already looks run down and needs a good cleaning. When we went half the tables were empty but really dirty.
