Said he'd be back the next day. He never showed up. The other guy....never showed. I reached out to Up Top. Richard responded right away. Asked me for pictures so he knew what to bring. He said he'd fix it on Friday at noon. He showed up on time. On a cold January day he climbed up and did a great job. Actually redid the vent stack as well. I can't say enough of his effort. If you have a job that needs doing, this is your guy. I usually never give 5 stars because there's always something. But he deserves the full 5. Thank you so much!

I have started working with Summit Exteriors to fix my house, which was affected by hail damage…read more They began replacing the roof and received the insurance check (for the complete house repairs), but now they are not responding to my requests to fix the rest of the damages in my house (siding, windows, and garage door). After they received the check from insurance, they have been ghosting me. Called and left messages several times, sometimes they sent a message saying that production will contact me, but it never happened. Updated on 2026-01-27 I am still waiting for the door garage, siding and window replacement to be completed (see pictures), they completed only the roof and gutter replacement. The Summit Exterior is currently holding my remaining balance for these services, and they agreed to return this balance to me so I can hire another contractor to finish the remaining work. This agreement was made on November 17, 2025, with the general manager (Alex) and the owner of Summit Exterior (Andrew). As of today, I am still waiting to receive the check. Their justification is that they need to complete another project before they can release my money. Until I receive the remaining balance, I cannot consider the case closed with Summit or proceed with completing the project. Updated on 2026-05-14 I have finally completed the repair of the hail damage to my house after almost two years--definitely NOT thanks to Summit. I had to hire another contractor to finish the work and pay out of pocket, since the remaining insurance funds are still being held by Summit. I am currently consulting with an attorney to explore the possibility of taking legal action to recover my money. Summit keeps promising a refund, but they have failed to follow through. I am extremely frustrated and tired of dealing with this company. To anyone considering hiring Summit--please think twice before doing business with them. I have heard from several others who read my review and shared similar negative experiences. My recommendation: avoid this company. Updated on 2026-09-25 I am still waiting for a refund of the remaining balance. Summit keeps promising the refund, but they continuously fail to follow through. On a weekly basis, I try to contact Andrew, who is supposed to be the owner, but he fails to respond. Occasionally, he replies with more promises, but the refund never arrives.

Luckily, it stopped raining…read more I called TG about 10 pm and he showed up first thing in the morning and took pictures of the problem. The picture showed the skylight frame separated and he fixed/repaired. Using his underlayment paper and my roofing shingles left over from a reroofing job performed 8 years ago, he tore out the old paper and reshingled. TG also installed a bathroom exhaust the same day. Very happy with the immediate service and extra work TG performed. We've several downpours since then and no problems. Very fair prices without gouging because of my circumstances.

I've hired American Custom for a number of projects over the years including replacement windows,…read moredoors, custom window trim, and most recently a complete demolition, design and installation of a custom full bathroom in a tight space in our basement. From the top down, every member of the staff at American Custom I've had the pleasure to interact with has been friendly, easy to talk to, professional and helpful. I've never felt pressured to purchase a particular product or "package". They have always been up front with me, explaining the pros and cons of my choices, are eager for my input, and always explain step-by-step how the project will be completed. Most importantly, when presented with a written estimate, everything is described in detail, along with the costs. If there are any potential hidden obstacles that may result in additional work being necessary, they are discussed up front, and I've always had the opportunity to comfortably clarify any questions I might have before I sign a contract. In summary, I'm not easy to please. But after working with American Custom, it would be extremely difficult for me to justify choosing another contractor over American Custom for any future project at my home. They're simply the best at what they do!

They let me know this price change one week before breaking ground. I would not let them change a lightbulb for me. American Custom never gave me my money back. I brought them to the Better Business Bureau where they lied multiple times and I had proof of their lies. I spoke with the architect that American custom used and he stated he said he did not even get $500 from American Custom. American Custom was here for a total of 10min when they cut through the drywall (which I have on my ring camera) when they cut hole. They were in and out. The crew continuously trespassed across my property lines without permission and left a substantial mess. Worse, they actually installed a gutter spout pointing directly at my basement foundation. I had to personally confront the crew when I came home to force them to fix it and clean up. Despite their forced cleanup, I found multiple stray construction nails and a couple of long gutter spikes buried in my side garden dirt this weekend. Leaving dangerous construction debris on a neighbor's property is completely unacceptable. Breanna Wilson from their office sent a dismissive email and has since ignored my follow-ups. If your neighbor hires them, watch your property lines closely.
