Update 02/17/26: Unresolved (This review was originally posted on Google and I'm adding it here for transparency.) 12/12/24: Still unresolved 06/16/24: Summit Exteriors did respond publicly to my original google review, but the main issue is still unresolved. I have not received any direct outreach by phone or email, even though they have all of my contact information. I also sent a written request in an effort to resolve this outside of court, and I did not receive a response. The outstanding issue is a refund for two skylights that were canceled prior to installation. As of today, that refund has not been issued. To be fair, the roofing installation itself appears solid. The crew worked hard and the roof is still intact. That said, there were several issues with communication, scheduling, and follow-through. Original scope of work included: GAF Lifetime Roof System -Replacement of existing skylight with a Velux Fixed Skylight -Installation of two additional skylights (with framing and drywall work) -Complete gutter replacement (Hidden Hanger Seamless Gutter System) -Hardwood decking replacement Work that was completed: -GAF Lifetime Roof System -Replacement of existing skylight with a Velux Fixed Skylight -Complete gutter replacement -Decking was replaced, but not with hardwood The two additional skylights were canceled before installation due to scheduling delays and weather concerns. At the time, my priority was replacing my aging roof (it was over 20 years old, with missing shingles and risk of water damage). I started requesting a refund for those skylights before the job even began in August 2023. The refund is still outstanding. During the project: The start date was delayed due to transportation issues, which pushed work into rainy weather. I experienced ceiling staining inside that required repair. Interior touch-ups were handled by company staff rather than a professional painting contractor. Landscaping was damaged during the job. A complimentary house pressure wash that was promised was never completed. Insurance assistance resulted in partial coverage (around 15%). Communication became noticeably more difficult after financing was finalized several months before installation. It was often hard to get updates or clear answers. While the roof itself seems to be holding up, the unresolved refund and the ongoing communication issues have left me disappointed with the overall experience. read more

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! Took my $4,000 deposit, never showed up, stopped answering calls and emails. Three months later- no work ever started, PTO days wasted on days they were supposed to show up but cancelled. Most importantly, no refund (after agreeing in writing to send back the deposit). UPDATE-after about a month of being ghosted it's time for small claims court. Word around town is they may be struggling...bad. Other recent reviews customers have the same issues, even their own subcontractors aren't getting paid! read more

Terrible. After happily taking my insurance claim check for the 2024 hail damage, it took multiple attempts and threats of reporting them to the BBB for them to respond. They still haven't replaced my screens or wrapped the window sills like they were supposed to. I gave up which I am sure that is what they had hope for. Terrible. Had my roof replaced last February. Was suppost to have siding replaced last summer. Contacted them in December as roof was leaking and wanted to know when I would get my siding replaced. They replied back to me and promised to be out. This happened multiple time over Facebook messenger, texting and email. To this day no one has showed up or been able to produce warranty documents that were promised to be delivered. Watch out for this company they will take you money and run!​ read more

After leaving a bad Google review we heard from Andrew with more promises of completion of work started in August 2024 after the hail storm. They asked us to take down the bad review! They required all of our insurance money to reside two sides of our house and new gutters. The roof had been completed quickly So we believed they would do the job quickly as well Now we have no money for Another company to do the job and are living with a torn up mess of a house. We have repeatedly gotten in touch with the sales rep who was working on our case. Always excuses. Now we see they have changed their name. I cannot stress enough how happy I am. They had a discount for Covid-19 and the total price was really competitive with the other quotes I got. The young man who came to give me the estimate was absolutely a gentleman, he actually sat and explained everything to me, told me about the materials I could choose from, he showed me all the different color shingles and siding. They were able to start my job a week after I made the deposit and I couldn't believe how fast they finished, they worked quickly but the quality was as close to perfect as it can be.
