We've had A Plus clean our gutters for the last few years. The gentlemen were polite, efficient, knowledgeable, and checked all of the gutters and downspouts (ours go into the ground). As per the owners response to my review posted below: Simply inaccurate. Not suggesting he is dishonest, but maybe his record keeping is as bad as his customer service. He said I called "a few times" - I called 10 times. Once to schedule. Twice to confirm after some weirdness. And the seven dates listed below spread out over a month. Their recording did say they weren't taking on new business. Since I had scheduled it previously, and verified, I should not have been included in the "new business." My messages all said something along the lines of, "I heard your message. We've been scheduled for some time, please have someone call me back to confirm my house will still get done, yaddah yaddah yaddah..." It was have taken him 90 seconds to return one of my many messages - way less time than it took him to pen his response to me below. -- The first time we used them they were fine. The second time, they screwed me over real bad. I called two weeks before Thanksgiving and scheduled two service visits to have our gutters cleaned - one to happen immediately, and other to happen the week after Thanksgiving. I explained why (they were full, a storm was coming, and we needed them cleaned immediately or it causes flooding in our house, the next visit would be at the end of the season after our trees were done with the cycle). I got a voicemail the day after our first visit was scheduled - the worker came to our home but decided not to do the job, because he saw a for sale sign out in front of it, and said we should wait until our house sells so they were clear for the inspection (1. Not his decision to make, 2. We had scheduled two services, so this was already addressed). I got a hold of him, asked him to come back, told him we had two services scheduled, and CONFIRMED that we had two services scheduled. They never showed up for the second service after Thanksgiving. I left messages on 12/1, 12/11, 12/13. 12/15, 12/19, 12/21, and 12/26. I asked to please have someone call me back, so I would know if they screwed up their end again (worded much nicer at the time), or if they were just running behind due to weather. They still have not found me human enough to return my call. Now my gutters are full, covered with ice and snow, and I'm trying to sell my house. There are lots of gutter people out there. Go find another one who might show you an iota of respect and might succumb to showing some appreciation for their customer's time, money, and homes. read more

Excellent work at a fair price. We bought a two story house surrounded by trees and the gutters were overflowing with tiny trees and plants growing in them. The office staff was polite and helpful by phone, offering a veterans discount and an estimate based on Google street view and satellite images. The next day two trucks with four guys showed up and swarmed the house cleaning and tightening up all the gutters, bagging everything, blowing off the driveway and sidewalks; leaving not a leaf behind. They exceeded my expectations in a friendly professional manner performing an amazing job for a very reasonable price. I will keep their number on speed dial and share it with family and friends. So on my talk thread I needed a gutter cleaner. I chose Michelle's suggestion even though I believe she knows them. Mainly for the fact they are located not too far from where I live. So..... my review is kind of a mixed one. Called and the owner picked up and was friendly and said they could come out anytime. He told me they would be out in 2 days and leave an invoice. They didn't come on said day so I called wondering what happened. He stated they were pretty backed up on friday which is undertandable. Would of like a phone call though. They came out Saturday which was a very cold and wet day. As I was putting my son down for a nap I hear the guys stomping around and being super loud swearing and complaining about being out there. Unprofessional. I was hesitant to be "that guy"..the one who complains... but seriously this is your job and no I would not want to be cleaning gutters in the wet cold either but if it was my job well I certainly would suck it up. I called the owner after they left and he was very respectful and listened to what I had to say. He informed me he would talk to the guys. He called me back in a few minutes after that and stated the guys were very apologetic and this is not how they do things and want to ensure costumer satisfaction. He stated we only owed him half the cost which I told him I didn't mind paying what was due since they did clean the gutters but he insisted it was their way of apologizing. He thanked me for calling him to let him know instead of just never using them again. Which I think is important. How can a business fix anything if you don't inform them of a problem. Conclusion: So it wasn't the greatest experience but I respect the great customer service. It showed me that they respect their customers and value their opinion. Will not be using this company again. Had them come by to clean the gutters and patch a small section. They cleaned the gutters and left a note on the invoice that they would be coming back on a dry day for the gutter repair. Two weeks went by and no one came back. I called again to get it scheduled and the woman I spoke to called me back a few hours later to say she misplaced my information so I had to tell her again what the issue was. After another week of no one coming to do the work I called one last time and was reassured someone would come that day or the following day... and that was a week and a half ago and still no one has come to finish the job. I contacted A+ to unclog our downspouts, and to their credit, they responded quickly with an e-mail with a reasonable estimate, which I accepted via a return e-mail. Unfortunately, they never came to do the work, so two weeks later I re-contacted them. They said they never saw my e-mail accepting their offer, apologized, said they would be out in a week, and then never showed up. Perhaps A+ does good work, but they don't seem very organized. read more

We are selling our home and needed the gutters cleaned ASAP because they were completely clogged with leaves and debris. We have a very large home and expected to pay well over $200. They came within a day or two thankfully because we just got a lot of rain and the bill came to less than $100 and they did a beautiful job. The last company we hired cleaned the gutters but left whatever they dug out all over my windows and my deck and my lawn. We didn't even know a plus was there until I found the invoice in my mailbox because there was no debris anywhere that we could see. I looked out the windows to some of the gutters below that I could see and they were completely clean this company did an excellent job. I would recommend them to anybody! read more

Their motto is "We answer the phone" but since cleaning my gutters and providing an estimate to repair one of my gutters I have called them three times only to reach voice mail each time. I have also left a message each time and not received a return phone call. As such, I wouldn't recommend this company if you require gutter repair. read more

I called business phone and person answering was driving, asked me to text him. I sent txt, got reasonable quote of $80+tax and replied yes, I wanted to have my gutters cleaned. Never heard back. I can't speak to their quality of work but it's probably not a good sign I never heard back. read more

We have had them come to our house a couple of times now and it's been a great experience both times! Friendly staff and never had a problem with the scheduling. They've managed to get us on the schedule in a very timely manner with short notice on our end. earlier this year I was looking a reputable gutter cleaning service in the Rochester NY area. I cam across A Plus Gutter Cleaning by doing an internet search. I gave them a call and just like the motto says they actually answered the phone. They did an estimate over the phone and were able to come out in 2 days and take care of the job. While they were here they cleaned a couple skylights for me, and replaced a flood light that had gone out. The 2 men that came very polite, professional and patient. I have a lot of questions since this is my first home and they never got upset with me or any questions that I had. I recommended my neighbor and my mother to them and they did a great job for them as well. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who is need of gutter cleaning. read more

Have been using A+ services since 2012. Called and wanted to make a app on Nov 14,2016 was told that they were busy and Thanksgiving was coming so it would be a week after the holiday. Well no came no one called so I hired another company . Well this morning December 7,2016 around 8:45 my door bell rung. I looked out and it was A+ I informed them that my gutters had been done. Later that afternoon got a call from I guest the owner upset because they came out and wasted gas and the 5minutes there were at my House. He told me that I should of called to let him know that I had them cleaned. I apologized because frankly I figured they were'nt comng out. I was told next time don't call them call someone else . How rude was that after I 'I've been a customer since 2012. I was told that they were busy and was running behind by the owner. He could of extended me the same courtesy of a phone call as well then I would have waited because than I would have known why they hadn't showed. They have become very unprofessional.
