Problem being the estimate said debris would be taken away in a pickup truck. Pretty bad when the owner doesn't know what's in the estimate. She was professional and very responsive. She gave me a window (8am - 12pm) of the following week and kept in contact with me after I've sent pictures of the repair needed per her request. James gave me a phone call roughly around 10am and was told he'd be over in about 25 minutes. He came right on the dot. James was professional, friendly and answered all my questions regarding my issue and others. Gave me great insight and advice on future home improvements. The quote was spot on in terms of what I've been told, what I've thought and very reasonable. The quality of work was phenomenal and Graves Bros. just received another customer for any future home improvements and fixing. The picture showed the skylight frame separated and he fixed/repaired. Using his underlayment paper and my roofing shingles left over from a reroofing job performed 8 years ago, he tore out the old paper and reshingled. TG also installed a bathroom exhaust the same day. Very happy with the immediate service and extra work TG performed. We've several downpours since then and no problems. Very fair prices without gouging because of my circumstances.

Luckily, I found Luis, who came the same day. He immediately cleared the clog and cleaned out all of the gutters thoroughly. We called again and was told they'd take care of it. After another week of no contact, we called again and was told they'd call us back the next day. They did not. We called them back two more times, and was told that they would call us back. They did not. In this time we had two contractors look at the roof and tell us the installation was done poorly and incorrectly. After nearly a month of not calling us back, they eventually did and when we told them we had another contractor coming in to fix the problem to prevent further damage to our ceilings, they said okay and hung up. I found this process pretty easy and would highly recommend Yelp for booking estimates. We ended up getting three local roofer quotes through Yelp but ultimately decided on John and his company due to their price, level of professionalism, and explanation of the roofing process. What we also appreciated was that he was not a pushy salesperson, he explained to me the process of the roofing process in simple terms. We also liked that he had lots of proven references from reviews printed out and he also had a piece of literature he gave that he mentioned his wife wrote so people who weren't in the industry would understand the whole process. For us, that really helped. I had did my research before about GAF certified contractors in the area and knowing that they were a Master Elite level contractor gave us confidence they would do a good job and offer the best warranty. Throughout the process, John and Jenny communicated to us well and even when we had trouble deciding on our shingle color, they delivered three sample colors of actual shingles so we could decide. We ended up going with a color that John helped us pick up since we trusted his judgment. The rain had delayed our start date on the roof but John and Jenny always communicated us if the date was pushed back and John always personally answered his cell phone whenever we needed to get a hold of them. Jenny dealt with our tear off and replacement of our roof and it took 2 days. They cleaned our lawn in-between and got rid of the dumpster afterwards very efficiently. My husband dealt with the roofing team and they were very knowledgeable, professional and diligent. Our chimney was very old so they arranged to consult with a masonry before working on it. We have no complaints and would highly recommend them to anyone who wants to get their roof done. We also needed to get a chimney cap and a duct vent replaced and they added it to our roof cost at a very affordable price. We are thoroughly pleased with our new roof!

They let me know this price change one week before breaking ground. I would not let them change a lightbulb for me. American Custom never gave me my money back. I brought them to the Better Business Bureau where they lied multiple times and I had proof of their lies. I spoke with the architect that American custom used and he stated he said he did not even get $500 from American Custom. They cut a hole in my dry wall about 3' x 2' and made a disaster with dust never cleaned up their mess and never even offered to fix the hole at the end. American Custom was here for a total of 10min when they cut through the drywall (which I have on my ring camera) when they cut hole. They were in and out. So I guess it's $4000 to cut a hole in drywall? If you have a project, don't do it with this company. American Custom is not trustworthy and definitely not honest.

The appointment was set for 1:30. When there was no sign of Kevin by 2:00 and we hadn't received a call to say he was running late, I called the office again. I don't know if I spoke to the same person, but as it turned out when our appointment was entered into their system, the person doing so somehow neglected to push the button that would actually assign this appointment to Kevin. She called it an "honest mistake." It was a pretty big mistake and had I not called the office, we wouldn't have even known there was a problem. We decided to call another company for an estimate.
