Used Allstate Roofing and More for complete tear-off roofing job, July 2022. John, who came out to…read moreestimate the work, was very responsive and communicative via text. The job was done in 3 days and I appreciated the hard work in this summers heat of the crew who did a great job, and the project manager was good also. Overall, though the roof is new and I'd have to see how it stands up over time, I am happy with the work and from a cost perspective we got 4 quotes and Allstate was not the cheapest and not the most expensive. They do offer financing through a 3rd party who is a large, national, lender and I appreciated that as well. The terms were reasonable and given the high cost of a new roof these days, it was necessary. However, they did not complete all the work on the proposal (clearing of soffits in the attic) and broke a sensor for my sprinkler system. For those things they gave me a credit if $375, or at least they said they would. In the end they over charged me by greater than $300 and have absolutely ignored my communications about it. I believe because I financed it, they just figure it's in the financing and if they ignore me long enough, I will shut up about it. I contacted the lender and told them, but they said it's between me and Allstate - Allstate has ignored me. Though I think the work was done well, and I am happy about the roof, I will forever be irritated by what I believe is intentional overcharging - though it's a nominal amount compared to the cost to the roof, nonetheless right is right.

The work was completed on time, at a fair price, and with exceptional attention to quality. What really set them apart, however, was their commitment to protecting our property during and after the project. Their team carefully tarped the work areas and was meticulous with debris removal and cleanup. They thoroughly magnet-swept the property to ensure no nails were left behind, which gave us peace of mind knowing our pets and children could safely enjoy the yard afterward. In fact, they even found and removed nails left behind from a previous siding project completed by another contractor. That level of attention to detail and pride in their work is rare. I wouldn't hesitate to hire Goat Crazy again, and I regularly recommend Shawn and his team to friends and neighbors. If you're looking for a reliable, professional roofing contractor who genuinely cares about the quality of their work and customer satisfaction, Goat Crazy is an outstanding choice.

They removed the existing cedar shake, replaced flashing, repaired rotted wood, and completed the job with great attention to detail.Several months later, everything is still holding up strong. I haven't had to follow up with any concerns regarding the roof or the work that was completed. The team also replaced my neighbor's porch roof, and the quality of that work was just as impressive. As a follow-up, we even reached out to Shawn regarding damage caused by another company to a portion of the roof that wasn't part of the original replacement project. Shawn was quick to come out, assess the situation, and help us work toward a resolution with that company. That level of customer service after the job was completed really speaks to the kind of business they run. I will keep referring these guys for as long as I can.
