I had looked at the work briefly, from a distance, because he had promised to return and touch up anything that needed it. It's just a slap-and-dash job. Once I paid (in cash), a promised return to rectify any problems never happened. Important parts of the work are not finished, and my calls and messages are being ignored. Had an uneasy feeling when he showed up with nothing but a regular car. No crew, no drop cloths. The attached photos show just SOME of the way he left the job after taking my money. Also: I have filed a complaint with the NYS attorney generals' office. The flooring itself did take quite a while to come in - like 8 months or so - but this was not Christie Carpet's fault (supply chain issues!) and they called me every few months with an update. My install took an entire business day (a nice excuse to take off of work) and the installers were friendly and professional. When our installer arrived, I politely asked him to wear a mask when he was in my home. My wife and I are high risk for COVID, and we wore masks when he was in our home. The installer refused to wear a mask, and he wasn't very nice about it. This installer also did quite a bit of damage to our walls during installation and to our furniture that he moved. When I brought this to Messner's attention, their general manager came to our home and repaired some of the damage, but not all of it. He promised to come back and finish repairing the damage, but we never heard from him again. I suggest you go somewhere else for your carpet if you are looking for polite and professional installation services.

Bryan was easy to work with over the phone and even accommodated us when we needed to reschedule due to a family situation. Bryan and Jeff were on time, friendly, respectful, and did an amazing job on our kitchen, front foyer and back hallway. The before and after pictures truly tell the story. There was some dust, but not a lot. They did put up plastic sheets to minimize dust in the other areas. We did spend about 30 min vacuuming and dusting before we put everything back together and that really was not a big deal.
