Trash they left in my garbage can and alongside my garbage can.

Run, run, run! There are 13 listings for the same company. Refer to the phone number and they should all come up. I had to let him go last year because of all of the issues listed. Plus many, many more. Please be careful, do your homework and stay away from them. Louie is not professional. I received threatening text messages whenever I questioned anything, was threatened with going to court and taking all of my money, it just didn't stop until finally I let him go. He didn't fill out the contract or make adjustments to it at all, didn't measure. Didn't dig deep enough for the patio. It went on and on and on. Please be careful. Damaged my driveway with actual holes in the black top. Left piles of stone in front of my garage. I couldn't get out and I had to shovel them out until he could come on Monday and do it himself. Decided to raise the patio 4 in because they didn't dig down deep enough.

We went to Fireplace Fashions knowing we were ready to replace our non-working, zero clearance,…read morewood burning insert. We wanted to convert to a gas fireplace and had been to a couple of area dealers. We found that Fireplace fashions had a great display of inserts and full size fireplaces and a sales staff that was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and not pushing us for a sale. We finally decided on the right model for us (Fireplace Xtrodinair 864TRV) and set up for a home visit to get the install estimate. After the assessment, it was determined that we would need to engage a general contractor to address some support and code issues with the old chimney and chase. When it was installed well before we purchased the house, whomever did the installation did not use a proper foundation and the chimney/chase was actually only supported by a box frame on the outside wall and some 2x6 braces underneath. After much frustration getting a contractor, we finally were engaged with Speranza Construction (Highly Recommended!). The pairing of Fireplace Fashions and Speranza was perfect and the coordination was exceptional. Once the old fireplace and chase was removed and new shed chase and foundation installed, Fireplace fashions stepped right in and had the unit installed within a half day. They left the template front installed for Speranza to come back and build the fireplace surround to match the opening without damaging the front face of the new fireplace. Once the surround was finished, Fireplace Fashions returned to put the permanent face plate on and do the first fire-up. During the first fire-up, the install technician was very professional and also demonstrated proper handling and functionality as well as informed us of what to expect with maintenance needs and some additional tips for best usage of our new fireplace. If I had one critique, it would be about the template (Set-up face) for the fireplace surround. This was an extra charge for $167 to allow the contractors to frame the stone correctly around the new fireplace. This was just a metal plate frame for them to put stone around and was basically on loan from Fireplace Fashions and then taken back at the final Fire-Up when the put the permanent face plate on. It was the only aspect that felt like a nickel and dime situation. It wasn't a customization item or preference, it was a required part of the install to allow for a proper surround to be built. That seems like it should have been either built in to the cost of the unit, or really more of a deposit and refund type of thing, not an additional cost. Overall we are extremely happy with our new fireplace and with the install collaboration with our contractor Speranza Construction.

They showed up on time, text to let us know they were coming, set up protective plastic sheets in the house, wore boot covers while in the house and worked hard each day. I wanted quartz, and if you know anything about quartz, you know it can get pricey quick. I shopped around to almost every store in town that was Google-able. I went to a giant warehouse near downtown where you can look at huge slabs up close and in person and, of course, found a really expensive stone that I just loved. I took this picture to many people to see who could obtain it. Imperial could. And cheaper than others. But what really gives them 5 stars is that the owner (husband and wife team) told me she could get a really similar stone for even less. I was wary to buy something I hadn't seen so she made some calls and had the supplier bring a giant slab to her store just for me-- at no obligation! Their storeroom isn't impressive but they do have many large slabs in the back, as well as some remnants you can look through for smaller things such as vanities. And when I saw the new, and cheaper, stone I was very excited. It was almost exactly the same but would save me hundreds, if not thousands of dollars (I cannot remember the exact savings). Since we were behind on our kitchen renovation, I was worried about getting the countertops measured in case something changed. The husband came to measure and was very easy going about the whole process and reassured me small changes we were considering wouldn't be an issue. The installation went well; their installers were very polite and worked quickly. There were a few minor issues that they came back and resolved quickly. Now, the countertops are still gorgeous and there have been no issues. Included with my purchase was a free stainless steel, undermount, very deep and wide single sink. I had originally planned on buying one elsewhere so that saved me another few hundred dollars. I was a bit worried though as I'd read reviews online about some sinks scratching easily but this one does not. And the installers showed me a trick: if it does get a minor scratch, use some steel wool and gently rub it away! When I need stone for my bathroom countertop, I will definitely be calling on them!

My girlfriend and I went back and forth with each other regarding which style we liked better and the young, salesman kept disagreeing with what I was saying regarding color selection. He wanted to be right, a young man with an ego problem. My girlfriend and I literally agreed on a fireplace we liked and he interjected saying he didn't feel what we chose would match our current fireplace bricks properly. We liked it and we wanted to buy it. This guy hasn't seen our fireplace, we didn't even bring pictures. We were giving a lot of social cues that we didn't want his opinion but he either couldn't see that we wanted to be left alone to decide for ourselves or didn't care. In an effort to avoid another trip to ANOTHER fireplace store, I looked at him and said "Have you ever talked yourself out of a sale"? His response was no. I said, "You're about to". Now, at this point, any salesperson with half a brain would have shut their mouth and wrote the order for the $7,300 fireplace we wanted to buy. Not this guy. After I asked him if he had ever talked himself out of a sale, he stared at me like he was going to fight me. He didn't like that we wanted to decide for ourselves what we wanted, apparently, he didn't feel we were valuing his opinion enough. So, he stepped toward me like he wanted to fight and told us to "Get the F$%# out of "My Store". So, I think he was either the owner or the owner's kid. He literally threw us out of the store moments after we decided which fireplace we wanted to buy. We even gave him an opportunity to just shut his mouth and his ego wouldn't allow him to do that. This is why retail is dying. We're ordering our fireplace online. The sales experience was horrendous and I'm actually glad they showed their true colors before we gave them any money.

Was pleased with the service so we bought one of their expensive maintenance plans. First of all, you have to call them every year to return for a cleaning and inspection. They should call us to schedule service thru their expensive plan. Fine. We are considering moving so I called for an inspection and cleaning. They wouldn't do the A/C bc it was February. Again, fine. Well the nightmare began. Now keep in mind everything worked perfectly prior to this service. Again, cleaning and inspection. Tech started inspection. Soon I heard a half hour of very loud metallic banging. I asked how it was going and was told he was trying to free a part to clean and check it. In the end, couldn't get it. Specialist had to return. Specialist returned and said igniter was bad. Changed it and it cost $162 which was the cost after the $600 maintenance plan previously mentioned. Pretty quickly we noticed more trouble. No hot water for a number of minutes. You may say no big deal but try running your bath for 3 to 5 minutes bf you get hot water. This happens on every faucet too. So we called again. Tech came and now found a bunch of gas leaks and the heat exchanger was bad. Cost $300 after their wonderful $ 600 maintenance plan. They also repaired some of the gas leaks. Said RGE had to fix another one. RGE came and said no leak. Hmmmmm... And I can't help to wonder how much of this is a result of the first Tech banging away full force on a very intricate and fragile piece of equipment. And we don't even have the new heat exchanger installed yet!! No call with an update, no call to schedule appt. Nothing. 2 months ago we called for an inspection. $500 later (not including the investment in the $600 maintenance plan) we have a non properly functioning water heater, no appointment and no plan. So much for hiring a big company for expertise, service and peace of mind. Ill update when, I mean if this gets resolved.
