The job was done in 3 days and I appreciated the hard work in this summers heat of the crew who did a great job, and the project manager was good also. Overall, though the roof is new and I'd have to see how it stands up over time, I am happy with the work and from a cost perspective we got 4 quotes and Allstate was not the cheapest and not the most expensive. They do offer financing through a 3rd party who is a large, national, lender and I appreciated that as well. The terms were reasonable and given the high cost of a new roof these days, it was necessary. However, they did not complete all the work on the proposal (clearing of soffits in the attic) and broke a sensor for my sprinkler system. For those things they gave me a credit if $375, or at least they said they would. In the end they over charged me by greater than $300 and have absolutely ignored my communications about it. I believe because I financed it, they just figure it's in the financing and if they ignore me long enough, I will shut up about it. I contacted the lender and told them, but they said it's between me and Allstate - Allstate has ignored me. Though I think the work was done well, and I am happy about the roof, I will forever be irritated by what I believe is intentional overcharging - though it's a nominal amount compared to the cost to the roof, nonetheless right is right.

They blamed my plumbing, but a licensed plumber inspected the vent, replaced the fittings as a precaution, and confirmed the issue is the roof. Other roofers have since pointed out high nails, crooked shingles, and the fact that Allstate reused old pipe boots. They also damaged my fascia and siding, then tried to 'fix' it with caulk and nails. They left my yard a mess with nails all over and even left nails sticking out of the shingles. They don't stand behind their work and only offer excuses. Do yourself a favor and hire someone else.

The picture showed the skylight frame separated and he fixed/repaired. Using his underlayment paper and my roofing shingles left over from a reroofing job performed 8 years ago, he tore out the old paper and reshingled. TG also installed a bathroom exhaust the same day. Very happy with the immediate service and extra work TG performed. We've several downpours since then and no problems. Very fair prices without gouging because of my circumstances.

I brought them to the Better Business Bureau where they lied multiple times and I had proof of their lies. I spoke with the architect that American custom used and he stated he said he did not even get $500 from American Custom. They cut a hole in my dry wall about 3' x 2' and made a disaster with dust never cleaned up their mess and never even offered to fix the hole at the end. American Custom was here for a total of 10min when they cut through the drywall (which I have on my ring camera) when they cut hole. They were in and out. So I guess it's $4000 to cut a hole in drywall? If you have a project, don't do it with this company. American Custom is not trustworthy and definitely not honest.
