I can't say enough good things about Dr. Bandary and the team at Oakmont Endodontics. I went in with a complicated tooth issue that a couple of another provider seemed unsure how to handle, and Dr. Bandary was the first person who really took the time to dig into what was going on instead of rushing to the most convenient fix. What stood out most was how thorough the evaluation was -- Dr. Bandary walked me through exactly what was happening with my tooth, explained the different options, and was clear the goal was finding what would actually work best for my specific situation, not just getting me in and out. The procedure itself was handled with real skill and care. Dr. Bandary checked in throughout to make sure I was comfortable, and the follow-up care was just as attentive. The whole staff was warm and professional, and appointments never felt rushed. If you're dealing with a tricky tooth problem and want someone who will genuinely go the extra mile to get it right, I highly recommend Dr. Bandary and Oakmont Endodontics. Five stars, no hesitation. read more

I had the most pleasant experience at Oakmont endodontics! This is my second root canal but my first at Oakmont and I will definitely be returning if I am ever in need of work again. Dr. Bandary quickly got me in, I was in so much pain. He explained everything about my root canal so thoroughly with me. He was extremely gentle & understanding. I felt so much relief and I haven't had any issues since with that tooth! The office is beautifully designed, everything is so clean & organized. I felt so comfortable there. They have all the latest equipment and Dr. Bandary really made sure to test out my tooth and asked all the necessary questions to ensure his treatment was accurate. I'm so thankful for this office and would recommend to anyone I know! read more

First, the office: Light and spacious. Procedures rooms have floor to ceiling windows with a view. So much nicer than staring at a wall. Staff: competent, pleasant and professional. I did a fair amount of hiring and training and noticed that right away. Had a brief talk with the doctor about hiring philosophy, it's apparent the office reflects a mature business and people philosophy. Doctors: I saw Dr. Banduri , very explanatory, he even whipped out out a big plastic tooth to answer a question. No sense of hurry. While I can't judge technique he seemed very careful and methodical, I have confidence in him that he cares about the outcomes. There are several doctors in this practice which was highly recommended by my wife's dentist. You can go here with confidence! read more

The dream experience I have had with this practice began when I called in crisis over a temporary crown that was tipping over the edge into root canal. I said to the merciful angel who received my call that "I'm sorry you're meeting me at this point in my life, but my patience is at an end." She, Dr. Bandary, and his team were kind to find a time to schedule me in for later the same day. The dental assistant, with whom I exchanged book recommendations, got me a blanket and neck pillow as they're playing Jack Johnson at a perfect volume as one overlooks a leafy panorama. Dr. Bandary, around whom this remarkable practice orbits, has a gentle and considered demeanor. He listened to my long neurotic explanations. He gave me time to fully arrive at the decision to move forward with the root canal. I didn't even realize that I needed time to think through the decision. He did. The procedure itself - by the way, I was not on any narcotics - had me in a state of elation. He is expert at his chosen art form. It was pain-free, brief, and I laughed through it. Orchestral. Go in part to see what's possible in life. 11/10 read more

The endodontist and assistants were incredibly skilled and took the time to explain everything, making sure I was comfortable every step of the way. They were gentle, focused, and clearly knew what they were doing. I honestly felt like I was in the best hands possible. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. read more

After putting off my dental health for years, I got to a point where I needed two root canals and could no longer eat. I was referred to Oakmont by my general dentist and decided to give them a try after seeing the flawless reviews. I want to extend a big thank you to Dr. Bandary. Everything about my experience was perfect. The office is clean and presentable with all the best equipment, staff and reception (Karena) are sweethearts, scheduling was easy, parking was plentiful, communication with my general dentist for follow-up work was great, etc. Dr. Bandary is a master of his craft. He took extra steps to ensure I was comfortable and adequately numb before my root canals (this has been a problem for me in the past). He explained everything in detail and answered all my questions before and after. He is gentle and precise with his work, and his bedside manner made me feel valued and properly cared for. I always take the time to thoroughly research before making any decisions, particularly when it comes to my health. I came in for a consultation feeling uncertain about what my next steps should be. The bar is set as high as it can go at Oakmont Endodontics. I was initially referred to Pasadena Endodontix where I was told my tooth needed to be pulled (halfway through the procedure). So I did some online research and chose Oakmont for a consultation in hopes my tooth could b e saved. Dr Bandary is extraordinary. Although I had nothing to add except 'yes' he made me feel like I was part of the treatment plan as he decided how he would proceed to save my tooth: he did save it. The Staff is Angelic, the office is bright and uncluttered and the equipment is State of the Art. Thank you Dr.Bandary. If I could give you a hundred stars I would. read more

Absolutely one of the very best dental experiences. The communications, care, and professional attention I received from the entire team was beyond all expectations! This was my first dental experience with Oakmont Endodontics, and I have to say from the very first communication/call with Karina, meeting Dr. Bandary and his professional team, Shelby and Becky, I was more than impressed with all the care and attention in making sure I was comfortable, relaxed, and informed about the entire root canal procedure. Additionally, the new technology used to perform the root canal surgery was impressive and made the procedure more comfortable than I was expecting. Thank you for making my first visit with you for root canal surgery a professional, comforting, and successful experience. read more

I was terrified to get a root canal. (I had never had one...only heard about them) just the phrase "root canal" had me in a state of what I fondly call "cat panic". After delaying my appointment for a few weeks, I finally went to see Dr. Deema Daher/Saad. She is an absolute professional, and a specialist in her field. The office is immaculate, with state of the art equipment. She was so calm, friendly, and explained everything in detail prior and during the procedure. I literally felt no pain. Even the recovery was very easy. I highly recommend this office if you are in need of a root canal. Everyone who works here is kind and professional. I never expected I would say this, but thank you Oakmont Endodontics for my root canal! read more

I don't write many reviews, but I owe Oakmont Endodontics a very thorough one because my experience at their clinic was quite frankly perfect. 1. Provided that you actually supply them with accurate insurance information (if applicable) ahead of time, you'll know upfront what the patient responsibility is right before any consult or treatment occurs and not be slammed with hidden costs at the time of payment. I appreciate their transparency and efficiency! My notoriously nightmarish luck with medical billing departments forces me to go out of my way to check things ahead of time in general, but with Oakmont, the whole process was seamless. 2. Karina spoke with me on the phone a few times, and she was kind, understanding, and patient about all of my concerns. I wanted an estimate on what I might pay if I were to receive treatment at the clinic (she also let me know that she would not be able to give an exact quote as she of course couldn't exactly diagnose me on the phone) ahead of time, and she delivered despite her busy schedule. I noticed that when she called me back, it was basically right as they were closing; I never want people to work even a minute past closing and am grateful for the fact that she went out of her way to ensure I heard back early enough to get my funds in order. 2. I also spoke with Shelby on the phone at one point, and she was the person assisting Dr. Bandary throughout the procedure the day of as well. She was also incredibly patient and empathetic. One thing I want to note is that when I asked about COVID hygiene practices at the clinic as someone living with high risk individuals, she immediately offered to wear a KN95 mask. Typically, I settle for air purifiers as many medical facilities seemingly have stopped masking, which forces me to be extra cautious at home after exposure; this was the first time that the staff at a clinic offered to mask, and it means so, so much to me. I actually was fully prepared to ask at the front desk the day of just to confirm that they would remember their offer to mask, but when I went in, Shelby was already wearing one and told me she would inform the doctor prior to beginning the actual treatment. I was blown away. I'm used to healthcare professionals invalidating my concerns, not respecting them. 3. Shelby was also very gentle with me throughout all the diagnostic procedures (high tech!) and the root canal treatment I received. She walked me through everything, and even the way she knew to guide me throughout the facility was effortless. It made everything feel much more accessible, and having had rather terrible experiences in healthcare settings regarding issues of consent or being straight up dismissed, it was wonderful to be cared for so thoroughly. I wasn't nervous in the least. (I should add that even through the very end when I was paying, she went out of her way to let me know that I'd maxed out my insurance benefits for the year and should expect to pay a lot out of pocket for my crown at my regular dental clinic.) 4. This clinic even offers you headphones to help you stay occupied with something else through long treatments. They even have adapters/dongles to complement your mobile device. In fact, they actually ask you if you need one; I didn't ask for it first or anything. 5. I feel incredibly fortunate to have met Dr. Bandary. First, he answered all my questions thoroughly and put my mind at ease, referring to the actual x-rays on the screen so I could follow along. Second, I'm no stranger to being numbed for dental treatments, and the anesthesia is the part I always fear the most due to horrid experiences I've had with dentists jabbing me very aggressively. Dr. Bandary has a steady, gentle hand and administered the injections beautifully. They barely hurt! When he tested my sensitivity with what looked like some kind of ice, I felt absolutely nothing, which meant that he was able to numb me successfully in one go. I'm not always so lucky. As for the actual root canal treatment itself, it was completely painless and as efficient as that kind of thing could possibly be, I'd imagine. 10/10, if I had to get another one in the future, I'd book an appointment with Dr. Bandary again. He's clearly as skilled as all the other reviewers have said. 6. I also didn't experience much pain other than the expected, unavoidable bit of tenderness in the area after the treatment. Dr. Bandary gave me some painkillers to take regardless, but I really have been fine. I no longer have the excruciating toothaches and other peripheral pains associated with that tooth. I can take hot baths again, and I can drink water without wincing. It's been pretty much a decade since I've started living with some level of pain in that tooth, and I cannot express adequately how relieving this has been for me. If you're on the fence about this place, you should just go ahead and book an appointment. Thanks, Oakmont read more

Undoubtably, the best Endodontics specialist. As painful as a root canal can sound Dr. Bandary makes the entire process so smooth & easy! Two years ago, I underwent three root canals performed by him, and during my recent follow up, the X-Rays were PERFECT. From his precise injection technique to his meticulous attention do detail -- every step is taken with the highest standard of care that I've seen from ANY dentist from ANY field of dentistry. I'm in my 60s and hadn't had a root canal for 25 years, so trust me here, I wasn't looking forward to it. Throughout my life I've had problems with my teeth, so I keep them very clean, flossing, and brushing frequently. During the pandemic, I slipped in the bathtub and was concussed, cracking one of my prized upper molars. I had to have it extracted. Ugh. You need your molars! Well after 2 1/2 years of the tooth on the opposite side, doing all the work, this upper bicuspid got infected and was ready for a root canal. I found Dr. Bandary on Yelp . He was God-sent. He received his undergrad degree from USC and went to the UCLA School of Dentistry. We established a root canal would be needed through a series of the most modern x-rays I have ever seen. He has invested a lot of money in his practice to make everything state of the art. A technician merely aims a hand held apparatus at the outside of your mouth and clicks a picture. No uncomfortable, plastic and metal need be held in your mouth while they take an x-ray. For the sedation, I don't use a topical, and one wasn't necessary anyway, as his lidocaine injection was flawless. To allay any fears, he communicates with the patient as he works. I appreciated that. The tooth had an abscess, and in two visits Dr. Bandary had removed the infected roots, flushed out the opening so it would be absolutely sterile in there, closed it up, and put a temporary closure so that my dentist can now put in a post and seal it permanently. I rose from the seat smiling, relieved I had had such an intelligent and experienced endodontist to take care of a problem that, in all honesty. I had dressed for two weeks. Don't do that to yourself; when you go to a really experienced clinician, there is no need to be frightened. From start to finish : Karina and Shelby at the front desk to his assistant and Dr. Bandary himself, Oakmont Endodontics gets a strong 5/5 from me. I plan on recommending them to all our friends. Thank you, Doctor. read more

Dr. Bandary was so gentle when doing my root canal that I dozed off and took a nap! Even before that, he was wonderfully kind, explaining everything very thoroughly, and answering every question I had. This is the first one I've had, and he was great at demystifying everything and making sure I was comfortable. All of the staff were friendly, kind, and professional. They love what they do and will tell you so! Great and accommodating with scheduling and prepping you for the exams. They made sure I understood all the costs and insurance coverage, and everything that was happening. When I came out of the procedure, they had water and ibuprofen waiting for me. I never thought getting a root canal would be such a positive experience! But it was at this office. read more

Dr. Daher was very kind, did pain free work, was very informative and answered all my questions. I usually put Dr's aback when I have many questions. I've been told it's unusual. Shelby was kind attentive and also listened to my questions, fears etc and she totally made me feel comfortable and calm. A + work, and team. Thank you again. read more

Dr. Bandary and his team has exceeded my expectations. After having to come in to have a re-treatment of my root canal, I was very nervous to have to go through the process and get another root canal. It was discovered that I had an extra canal that was missed during my first root canal so I was sent to see this specialist: I have to say the level of care and attention of detail that Dr. Bandary had provided me was amazing. This is by far the best root canal experience I have ever had with little to no pain. I had very little to no discomfort. I hate needles and Dr. Bandary always made sure that I was comfortable and felt no pain during procedure. It was two procedures in a course of a couple weeks I was told from the very beginning that there was a 50-50 chance of my tooth being saved but Dr. Bandary said he would try his best. And now after coming to my follow-up and looking at the x-rays we discover the procedure went extremely well and exceeded his expectations. I'm so happy with that. I highly recommend coming here for all your root canal needs. They are very knowledgeable and provide great patient care. read more

Dr. Bandary did a complicated tooth reabsorption root canal on me and I couldn't of asked for a better dentist for the job. He was realistic with the expectations on the longevity of the tooth and was very transparent. I was low key terrified of having a root canal since I've had past dental work where they didn't numb me enough. I got the nitrous oxide gas and he numbed me well. I didn't feel a thing and it made my experience very comfortable. This was my first and hopefully last root canal. The endodontist, Dr Narbeh Bandari successfully retreated my tooth no. 18 by redoing the root canal. No one ever wants to get a root canal, but if you need one, I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Bandary. He has great communication skills and manages all your expectations during each step of the procedure. I literally felt NO PAIN and even in the hours after the procedure, totally forgot I had any procedure done at all. I am writing this review the day after the procedure and I have no swelling or pain. I would describe myself as a "control freak" patient who asks lots of questions, and I felt empowered by Dr. Bandary as he described my before x-rays in detail and answered all my questions with kindness and expertise. He checked in with me throughout the procedure and I was able to give all thumbs ups. Despite what is actually involved with cleaning out a tooth canal, everything was as gentle as possible and I am still shocked I literally felt NO PAIN. After the procedure, he showed me all the work he had done on the x-rays and explained the shape of my canals and what I was looking at on the screen. His assistant Diana was great too! And all his equipment is digital and new and very modern. The office is spotless and impeccably clean. I had originally been referred to another endodontist in La Canada, but was put off by how aggressively my primary dentist insisted I see "his specialist." I did my homework and did unannounced visits to three other endodontic practices in the Foothill, Pasadena, Glendale area- ones that took my insurance and ones that did not. I had read horror stories online from folks who had to get a root canal redone because they weren't done right the first time. So for me I wanted to find someone who I could trust to do it right the first time, regardless of cost. That being said Oakmont was fair and upfront with all pricing so I knew exactly what to expect. No upsell, no add-ons, or unexpected fees. From the moment I walked into Oakmont Endodontics, I knew I was in the right place. Dr. Bandary is a great listener and handled all my rapid fire questions and even gave me an office tour. He was completely unphased by the fact I just walked in to check things out. Other practices were confused I popped in without an appointment. When you are in pain and in a vulnerable position, you want to be in good hands and feel confident about your doctor's expertise and intentions. Dr. Bandary met and exceeded my expectations. What is your first reaction when the dentist tells you that you need a root canal? Fear? Anxiety? Worried? And then you ask, is this going to hurt? Well as a general dentist, I do a lot of root canals but there are some that are extremely challenging and impossible to do. This is where Dr. Bandary and Oakmont Endodontics come into play. I refer a number of root canals to them and my patients reaction? "Amazing, painless, seamless, relaxing!" Really a root canal was relaxing? "Yup!" Without even a hesitation. Dr. Bandary loves what he does and he is damn good at it. His only flaw? He's a perfectionist. His root canals mirror his beautiful office. Every detail is premeditated and intentional. Don't believe me? Go see for yourself. I hope you won't have to but if your are in need of a root canal, read this and trust me. I'm telling you he won't disappoint you or I would never have referred my patients there or they would never come back. Thank you Oakmont Endo for all the hard work!
