By far the BEST endodontist! I have had some trouble due to not having the best dentist which resulted in various dental issues. I have gone to other endodontists that have put me in so much pain that I was always scared of going to another one. I found Dr Sadeghein last year where I needed a root canal. He explains everything to you and gives you options. He is very honest. When he says you will NOT feel any pain; you simply won't! Not even a pinch. I had to get a root canal retreat meant just last week because the first one done by my dentist was not done properly. He was able to retreat with no pain. Love this man!!! read more

When he said that the worse part was the injection, it's true. I felt no pain or discomfort all throughout the procedure. And that injection wasn't even painful at all. Dr. Sadeghein is very professional and reassuring. The quality of his service is top notch. read more

Recently had a root canal done here with one of the newer doctors (not sure his name).....the experience was as good as it could get. I was so nervous thinking it was going to be a painful experience during and after the procedure.....no pain what-so-ever! No complications. Textbook root canal! thanks again! read more

This was the best experience I've ever had at any kind of dentists' office. No one wants a root canal, but He was professional, precise, and friendly- I was done in an hour! I wish I had him the first three times I had a root canal. read more

Came to Dr. Sadeghein on 5-11-11 for a root canal. Let me start off by saying this dentist is a professional, curteous and effective. I was in ridiculous pain and my regular dentist could not do the root canal to me because I had a curved nerve so she assigned me to him ( specializing only in root canals ). Long story short, came here at 8:00 AM and left at about 9:00 AM, very happy the root canal was painless and if I ever need another root canal ( God forbid ) I'll make sure to come to him. If you want to be in good hands, make sure you come here. read more

Dr sadeghein is the best. Starting from the ladies in the front to great work dr sadeghein does. I have gotten many root canals but felt pain with my prior dentists. The first people we as clients ever dealt with are the front desk people whether it's on the phone or in person. I have to say Dr. Ahmad hired great staff! Very friendly and will answer all your concerns and questions including the costs questions. That is a big part of why I chose to come here to get my root canal. Dr. Ahmad is very professional, compassionate, a great listener, and informative. I think my root canal service was done in about 2 hours total. I wish that he does the final restoration as well (crowns) because as a first timer, I had no idea that I had to see my general dentist for this. It was just confusing and I felt like the root canal isn't "done" I would highly recommend anyone who is in need of getting root canal to come see Dr. Ahmad. ps: have to pay for parking, no validation. If you are unlucky enough to need an endodontist, I hope you are lucky enough to get this one. He treated my son when he was 10 and knocked his front tooth out. They were so kind and reassuring to me (a distraught mother), and my son (scared and anxious). We just went back, 7 years later, for a cracked canine. The staff and doctor were still delightful, still so personable, still so kind and reassuring. GO. HERE. read more

Bless this dentist office! I came in a last week sometime with PAIN!! I had an old root canal from decades ago that had an abscess. The original work was done at a different business. The good folks at Dr. Ahmad Sadeghein DDS,MS, FICD were on top of my situation and really made me feel like I was a priority at their office. From the young-ladies Vera and Mirna at the front desk to DDS. Sadeghein and his assistant Atousa. This practice is all class. They did an excellent, quality, and fast job to solve my issue. My biggest fear is always the numbing shots at the start of the procedure. Well, Dr. Sadeghein was so smooth that, getting my eyebrows threaded serves more pain than this dentist visit. The work was A1, the attitude and ambiance is second to none. The pricing was very fair and it was just an all around good experience. I want to say THANK YOU. This dental practice has a new client when it comes to me. Treat yourself, don't cheat yourself. Support quality work. Go to Dr Sadeghein's office if you want top-notch skill and service. GRACIAS! read more

I was referred to Dr. Sadeghein for a root canal from my primary dentist. Root canals are usually a scary and painful scenario to go through but I couldn't have had a better experience with Dr. Sadeghein and his staff. My root canal was completed just two days ago and I couldn't wait to write a 5-star review for Dr. Sadeghein. (I wish I could give him more stars!) From the scheduling of the initial appointment to the procedure itself and even the post-procedure follow up, Dr. Sadeghein and his staff were amazing! Their website offered very helpful information about what to expect during the procedure, and Dr. Sadeghein really took the time to explain everything he was doing throughout the entire procedure. That level of detail and care is very rare these days. He took his time and made sure I understood what was going on and was comfortable every step of the way. I even received a phone call the next day from his staff to check on how I was doing. I am truly very impressed with the level of care, professionalism and service provided by Dr. Sadeghein and his office. Thank you for a wonderful experience and I will refer everybody I know here! read more

This review has been updated after the dental office manager talked to me. This review is specifically for Dr. Celine, who I have learned is no longer employed at this practice. I initially wanted to go here out of convenience. I live in Glendale, but my usual dentist, who is out-of-network on my dental insurance, is located in Northridge. I thought I could save some funds by going to someone who was in my dental network at the time and also located in the same city I live in, however, I have regrets regarding my decision of having the procedure done here. I had 2 root canals done in 2018. The appointment was quick. I remember thinking the dentist looked young, and this honestly worried me a little bit, but I should not judge someone's skill by their age, right? I felt assured, as Yelp reviews for this office were pretty stellar, and I was honestly hoping for the older endodontist (whom I believe owns this practice) to perform the root canals, but this wasn't the case. I remember hearing the conversation between the dental assistant and Dr. Celine. I believe the doctor would be going on a New Mexico trip shortly after my procedure and maybe the dental assistant was going to Texas. The end result of one of my root canals was not successful :( the tooth was not saved. I went back to my regular dentist, and he mentioned the tooth was cracked, the root canal was unsuccessful, and I would now need a dental implant. My current dentist told me, "Why did you go to a new dentist? If you had done your root canal here, we could have put the amount spent on the failed root canal towards a dental implant. This was $1,262 out of my pocket and straight to this dentist for an unsuccessful root canal. Granted, after their office had seen my one-star review, they contacted me and offered me a refund for their services. Thank you!! But, in addition to that refund: I am still out $2,700 because I paid for a new dental implant. If you are not aware of the process, a dental implant is a months-long process--one in which I need to visit my dentist every 2 weeks so that they are able to check on the hopefully successful progress of my bone accepting a new dental implant. I wish I had not visited Dr. Celine at this office. It is true...it's hard to find a good dentist! So, I will be sticking to mine, even if I have to drive out 40 minutes for every visit. read more

My dentist recommended Dr. S and I am glad I took her up on her advice. Thanks Dr. Yepes! This doctor was great with his whole practice from bedside manners to explaining his procedures to being a very skilled endodontist. I was so scared the root canal was going to be a nightmare but after going to this office, if I ever had to again, I'm comfortable driving another 30 miles each way. Believe me it was worth it! read more

I am 34 yo, I received a 2nd root canal from Dr. Sadeghein about 8 years ago from an failed root canal which caused me symptoms on and off for many years. I suspect the procedure was unnecessarily performed on me at the age of 10, by a different dentist, when my family and I were on Medical. I have been symptom free in the past 8 years from my 2nd root canal. I recently returned to his office for a check up prior to receiving a new crown and so far things are still looking good. I am pleased with my experience and my outcome. I would return to his office as well as recommend anybody in need of a root canal. read more

I wish I could give more than 5 stars! Dr. Sadeghein is absolutely the kindest, gentlest man. He explained everything before and during my root canal work. I came in pretty apprehensive about the work I needed. OK, I was flat out terrified. I had a bad tooth that I dealt with for about 9 months...and finally I gave in as I just couldn't stand the pain and cold/hot sensitivity any longer. From the minute I walked into the office all the folks working there were kind and gentle and understanding. When I met the doctor he was just great. He listened to my concerns and reassured me that he would take good care of me with no pain. And he was right. I had NO pain during the procedure. I felt cared-for and safe. When I was checking out, he came to check on me one more time. I actually asked if I could give him a hug. Gee, I've never done that before, but I was so relieved. If you need a root-canal - he should be your "go-to" guy. read more

I was refereed here by my dentist as Dr. Sadeghein is a specialist. I was presently surprised at how pain free and quick the process went. I was in at 8am and out by 10am. I hope to never need another root canal but if I do he will be the only person I see. read more

I had my root canal about a month ago but I wanted to hold off the review until I was fully healed and saw my regular dentist for the post and crown. Dr. Sadeghein was great. He fully answered all my questions and explained the procedure fully. His staff was friendly and efficient. My regular dentist Dr. Hoyt in San Dimas CA said he did such a good job on my root canal that he was going to put him on the referral list for patients living in the San Fernando Valley that need an endodontist. Healing time was only a day and I only needed OTC 200mg I.B.Profen for pain. I hate dental work but if I ever need another service like this I will be back to Dr. Sadeghein. read more

Perhaps the greatest form of complement in dentistry is having your fellow dentist colleagues trust their dental care to you. As a dentist myself, I would trust no one other than Dr. Sadeghein. A recent molar root canal went so incredible smooth, I actually had a chance to nap in the chair. From the initial greeting by his wonderful and courteous staff, to the absolutely in perceivable local anesthetic, to the actual molar root canal procedure, the experience was better than anyone could possibly expect. I sent patients to Dr. Sadeghein for many years, and now as a patient myself, I am delighted that my patients experienced the same amazing treatment I did. Well done! read more

This was two years ago. He took a non emergency phone call during my root canal and left me in the chair with a piece of plastic holding my mouth wide open, lips in pain from the stretching, for over 10 minutes. (POOR JUDGEMENT/DISRESPECT/THOUGHTLESS/UNKIND) I finally yelled for the assistant to remove the plastic. No apology. Then charged me $25 for a follow up x-ray which should have been included. When I asked him to explain something he seemed put off and exasperated. The man is almost 80 years old. PERHAPS IT'S TIME TO RETIRE. Had some pain after the procedure but didn't complain because I didn't want to have to endure any more time in that chair. Would not go back to him. Would not recommend him at all. Staff was nice. read more

Wow, was I scared of having a root canal done. And worried about the price, even though I have insurance. First off, the prices are fair here, so that was great. And the Sadeghein will get you through what could be a scary process quickly by encouraging you to wear your headphones while he works. And as far as maintenance after the procedure goes they gave me great tips and I took good care of the tooth until coming back to have it looked at. Can't recommend him enough! read more

Excellent endodontist! I have had my share of problems with dentists after a particular dentist created a mess in my mouth...so I wassomewhat weary, but he was fantastic.... Fixed the mess the other dentist created. I am a physician myself, and I appreciate when I see a dentist that is professional, doesn't push for unnecessary invasive procedures, and is timely! Reasonably priced and makes patient feel comfortable. Used him twice, once in 2011 and again today. Highly recommend. read more

I had my first root canal done by Dr. Sadeghein yesterday. I wasn't quite sure what to expect since other people told me how painful it is. This Dr. has been working for over forty years and obviously loves what he does! I experienced absolutely no pain and he is very kind and gentle...always asking how you are doing.(I was in the chair for almost two hours too!) Everyone in the office is very nice... the assistant was great too! She had to take a lot of xrays but was very gentle. She even went over all the xrays she took at the end and explained them all to me. I told them if I could have given them a tip I would have! And the office validates for parking too! That is almost unheard of anymore. To top it off they even called me to find out how I was feeling the next day. A class act! Thank you Dr. Sadeghein and staff!!! read more

This was my first time getting a root canal treatment, I went to Dr Sadeghein's office on 8/26/14 (being in unbearable pain) and he determined that i needed a root canal treatment, that being said, the appointment was set for the next day, 8/27/14. I was in doubt if it was going to be a painful procedure or not from reading all the stuff on the internet and let me tell you, there is a reason this man is called a specialist, he did not bombard me with medication he simply gave me 2 shots of the numbing medication they use (don't know the name lol) and from there i did not feel anything, and i mean it when i tell you ANYTHING. This hurt less then getting my tooth cleaned let alone having a tooth filling done. Professional staff I would definitely recommend anyone that is looking to get a root canal to go to this doctor because they say that if it is not done right, it will cause problems later on and you will need to re do the whole procedure again costing you twice. So it is better to pay a little more and get it done by a person that can do this in his sleep. It has now been 4 hours after surgery and the numbness has worn off and everything seems to be okay. Thank you Dr.Sadeghein! read more

Hands down one of the best Dentists I have ever been to. I have had a total of 4 root canals under anesthesia and I have had no problems whatsoever. I had little to no pain afterwards. I can't speak for the actual procedure because I was asleep but the after care was great. If you are thinking of doing a root canal under sedation it is totally worth it. The anesthesiologist he uses is fantastic-and I'm a nurse so that's really saying a lot about the quality of care and safety. read more

I have just become a new patient of Dr. Sadeghein and I feel very fortunate to have been referred to his office. All of the great reviews I read about him and his staff turned out to be true. He is a top notch professional with a very caring and kind manner. He explains every step he is about to perform in his procedure before he does it. The true test of a doctors's office however is how caring they are after your visit. The morning after my root canal I was concerned about the high level of pain I was experiencing. I called the office minutes before their scheduled opening time and I expected to get a voice message. Instead their front desk person answered, I explained my issue and within 1/2 hour I was in the chair and being attended to by Dr. Sadeghein who examined, explained what was causing the extra pain and wrote a prescription. He was compassionate and genuinely concerned and not just going through the motions. This is not a "take and seat and hurry up and wait" kind of office. read more
