She is so kind, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming, and the clinic is lucky to have her. Dr. Fathy is also amazing! even though I found out my tooth couldn't be saved and I have to see a surgeon, she took the time to explain everything so clearly that I felt much better about the whole situation. This place really stands out for how much they actually care about their patients. I highly recommend them.

Her expertise is unmatched, her bedside manner is best described as unbelievably patient-centered, understanding, and collaborative. She has made a big difference in undoing several years of poor dental health and prior botched root canals. Her pricing is fair for the product you are getting, and she has the most up-to-date state of the art facilities at her offices. I believe she prides herself on setting an industry standard and I know she attends and speaks at conferences to advise others in her field. I have watched her offices and patient base grow, and we all share the same comfort in knowing that we are treated with the utmost respect by her kind, energetic, enthusiastic, caring, and experienced staff that keep the offices running in an efficient and comfortable manner. I cannot recommend her enough. The staff are so quick about insurance and are informed about billing to ensure your claims are placed quickly and correctly. They've worked together for years and it seems like everyone there are truly happy to be working there. It is truly comforting to work somewhere that understands the intimate relationship between an endodontist and the patient - because her pain management is unmatched in what otherwise is a very painful procedure in my experience. She makes sure you are comfortable, prepared, aware of your treatment, and that you have a treatment plan with her that you have approved of and understand. Please give her a chance, you won't regret it and we are very lucky to have her! I go to the Glendale office, i've also attended the Santa Clarita office and have had great results.

Took a little while - WORTH THE WAIT!…read more Cons: I checked in a few minutes early for my 2 PM. Waiting room was completely full - every seat filled. Was waiting about 45 minutes before I was taken back by a tech. Pros: Everyone I interacted with was super nice, apologetic about the delays, and very kind and professional. Dr. John Lee was EXCELLENT - when he got to me, he was patient, explained everything VERY thoroughly so I could understand what the issue is, what the potential treatment options are, and how I could/should proceed. He was understanding, courteous, and even took an extra step to ensure that I could leave with a course of treatment planned today instead of waiting for another round of x-rays to be sent from my regular dentist. I understand the wait - it was frustrating, but sometimes it happens. And the service I received afterward was absolutely worth it. I feel confident about proceeding with RootVision for my procedure, and Dr. Lee's manner and transparency were refreshing.

I had heard so many horror stories about root canals that I was expecting the worst. I went in feeling extremely nervous and anxious. But from the moment I arrived, the entire staff was so kind, comforting, and reassuring. Every single person there made me feel supported and kept reminding me that everything was going to be okay. Dr. Cho was absolutely amazing. He was so gentle, calm, and precise throughout the entire procedure. I kept waiting for the pain everyone talks about... and it never happened. I truly didn't feel anything. I was shocked at how smooth and easy the whole process was. He made something I was so scared of feel effortless. His assistant was wonderful as well. They worked together so seamlessly and professionally, making sure I was comfortable every step of the way. You can really tell this team cares about their patients and takes pride in making the experience as gentle and stress-free as possible. I walked in terrified and walked out feeling so relieved and grateful. I honestly can't believe how easy the whole experience was compared to everything I had heard before. If you ever need a root canal, do yourself a favor and go see Dr. Cho at Root Endo Vision. I would absolutely trust them again and will definitely refer my family and friends here. Thank you for turning something I feared so much into such a positive experience!

I said to the merciful angel who received my call that "I'm sorry you're meeting me at this point in my life, but my patience is at an end." She, Dr. Bandary, and his team were kind to find a time to schedule me in for later the same day. The dental assistant, with whom I exchanged book recommendations, got me a blanket and neck pillow as they're playing Jack Johnson at a perfect volume as one overlooks a leafy panorama. Dr. Bandary, around whom this remarkable practice orbits, has a gentle and considered demeanor. He listened to my long neurotic explanations. He gave me time to fully arrive at the decision to move forward with the root canal. I didn't even realize that I needed time to think through the decision. He did. The procedure itself - by the way, I was not on any narcotics - had me in a state of elation. He is expert at his chosen art form. It was pain-free, brief, and I laughed through it. Orchestral. My dentist recommended going to get consultation at Pasadena Endodontix. I read some negative reviews on Yelp and Google but my experience with Dr. Safa was nothing but professionalism and expert care and treatment. I would give more stars if Yelp allowed it. I only felt a tiny bit of discomfort at the initial injection but after that, no pain since. I've had other root canals at other dentist offices a long time ago and they took over an hour to finish and it was painful. I would recommend my family and friends to see Dr. Safa if they need an Endodontist. I hope I don't need another root canal, but if I do, I'm happy to come back here. Is it a bit pricey? Yes, but in my humble opinion, you're paying for expertise and quality care. My tooth is pain free, my blister is gone, and I can't believe I tolerated the discomfort and occasional pain related to the condition of my tooth for as long as I did before Dr. Safa treated it. The office staff and assistants are also top notch and professional. Thank you Pasadena Endodontix!

I've seen many dentists, many of them good and unfortunately a few bad ones too. Once you find a…read moregreat dentist though, you hang onto them. I've been with my dentist for 17 years, 10+ of those years moved up to the Bay Area and making the 5-6hr commute back and forth. Well, life happens and during my last check with Most Awesome General Dentist; turns out I need a root canal and was recommended to Dr. John Pratte as a "Diplomate" dentist. What is that? I asked a robot and this is what I learned: Achieving diplomate status in dentistry, particularly for specialties like endodontics, is a prestigious accomplishment that represents the highest level of expertise in the field. Here's what it generally involves: 1. Advanced Education and Specialty Training: After earning a dental degree (e.g., DDS or DMD), a dentist must complete additional years of postgraduate training in their specialty, such as endodontics, periodontics, or orthodontics. This involves clinical, hands-on training and deep study of the specialty. 2. Board Certification: To become a diplomate, a dentist must pass rigorous board certification exams specific to their specialty. This typically includes: Written Exam: Testing the candidate's knowledge of all facets of their specialty. Clinical Exam or Case Presentations: Submitting complex case studies or undergoing a practical exam to demonstrate hands-on expertise and problem-solving abilities in their specialty. Oral Exam: Being questioned by a board of experts on clinical cases, treatment planning, and specialized knowledge to assess clinical judgment and expertise. 3. Experience and Case Portfolio: Many boards require candidates to complete and submit a portfolio of complex cases they've treated successfully, showcasing their proficiency and commitment to high standards of care. 4. Continuing Education and Recertification: Once they achieve diplomate status, many boards require ongoing continuing education and periodic recertification to ensure they remain up-to-date with advancements in their field. 5. Commitment to Excellence: Diplomates are often required to uphold strict ethical standards and demonstrate a commitment to advancing their specialty through research, teaching, or service within the professional community. In short, becoming a diplomate is a mark of dedication, clinical excellence, and a deep commitment to providing the highest standard of patient care in their specialty. It signifies that the practitioner has gone well beyond the basic requirements of dental practice. _______________________ So I just want to say that I highly appreciate the expertly skilled precision of Dr. Pratte's deft and nimble hands. He has a very professional demeanor while also being quite warm and personable. (And those diplomate credentials tell you that you're getting the very best of the very best!!!)
