You are not only painting your board, but also sanding and distressing the wood to your style and choosing your stain. Some of the crafts feature items besides wood too, like my mason jar craft. We heavily used stencils, so an artsy touch is not required, and the owners were great about helping us clean up some small mistakes too. In fact, the owners were so friendly and helpful, they really made the whole event fun and we learned a lot along the way. They are BYO, so you can also bring along a drink! You don't have to get too messy, but you do work with paint so I'd recommend clothes you don't mind getting dirty.

Incredibly sweet staff. One of the ladies behind the register even told my mom that there was food on the deck that day and to help herself. 2. Rustic and country are the key words at this place.
