O'Sullivan's showed up for their community today. We had a snowstorm and while essential businesses closed (Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, etc), O'Sullivan's opened their doors and was one of the only places to get a hot meal. Their employees were also out shoveling snow to make sure people could walk safely. I commend O'Sullivan's. They showed up to feed and serve their community. This is what running a successful business looks like. I highly recommend O'Sullivan's and will continue to be a loyal customer. read more

As a die hard Steelers fan, I love a place where I can watch a game and sit in agony for three hours while the Steelers woefully underperform. And O'Sullivan's is the perfect place to do it! This restaurant makes a real effort to make yinzers feel at home. The food specials are good, the wait staff is awesome, and the ambiance is so much fun. I liked the Primanti sandwich (although nothing compares to the original iykyk) and the pretzels rocked too. Hope to catch a win next time but I probably won't lol go Steelers read more

Been here twice. Both times the server/bartender was friendly, and the beer was top notch at a reasonable price. My first visit here was on Election Night way back in 2016. My friend invited me to an Election Night party at a nearby bar. Bunch of Trumpers there including my friend. I didn't like either of the candidates. Ended up checking out the Libertarian Election Night party at O'Sullivans. Although it wasn't much of a party, the service was great and was my beer along with a couple of good conversation. My 2nd visit here was in June 2023 for a comedy night they do every Thursday night. The server was friendly and prompt with my beer. The atmosphere was comfortable and had some good conversations with others at this comedy Meetup including a couple of the comedians. read more

Met some friends for a post work dinner. Was happy to see we made it right before hh ended. They offered a few $7 food specials which we took advantage of by getting: beef sliders, buffalo chicken dip and fish tacos. Everything was very tasty and really filling. My family went here for the Steeler-Bengals game on Saturday. This place was full of Steeler fans! It is very loud but the atmosphere and the food is outstanding. The wings are delicious-very crispy. I split the Reuben sandwich with my mom and it was super tasty. My boyfriend got the Guinness burger which is a beef patty atop mashed potatoes slathered in their Guinness gravy which is phenomenal. I asked for a side of it to dip my fries in. We got the IC Light bucket that was on special - 5 beers for $20. The bloody Mary's are quite good too. We will be back again for a Steelers game. Pretty spacious Irish pub in Clarendon that's always been popular. I've been here one other time, but have never eaten anything. I decided to try it out for Disney trivia and was excited to try their food since my roommate frequents it all the time. We were immediately greeted with free whiskey shot samples which were a nice surprise before dinner! I'm not a huge fan of whiskey, but the gesture was great! I opted for the veggie burger and the hand cut french fries. The burger was not the best veggie burger I've ever had, but the fries were really yummy and it was a satisfying meal. The wait staff weren't super attentive and it looked like they were a little understaffed. He was friendly, we just had to flag him down a lot. I'm looking forward to trying out other things on the menu here. They also always seem to have a lot of social events here. Very attentive. At night it does get packed with a loud crowd, so it's great if you want to go with friends and grab some beers. Pretty mediocre even for Irish pub standards. I came here wanting to try some green beer because it was St Patrick's Day but they don't have that and it's apparently all a gimmick What I really have qualms about is the service nobody really goes out of their way to be hospitable or explain things It's a very basic bar with very basic service which is not something I would expect in this part of town but whatever. I ended up coming on a Sunday so I got plenty of free street parking but on otherwise it would be very difficult to find parking here. I also didn't quite like the vibe of this place it was almost a dead atmosphere and they have TVs everywhere but the things that I wanted to watch were actually behind me and I didn't feel like asking the bartender to switch the channel in the front. I don't think I'd be in a rush to come here again unless I had a strong inkling for a beer, which is unlikely to happen since I don't really drink beer in the first place. I might be tempted to come back for a whiskey but then again there are so many other nice whiskey bars this wouldn't be high on my list either. read more

Don't think so unless on other nights they don't serve instant mashed potatoes under a frozen burger patty covered in gravy made with canned beef broth and call it a Guinness Burger. Started with the half off chicken wings. Okay but just slathered in BBQ sauce and nothing special. Oldest daughter had the Cobb salad. It was good. Youngest bad the Shepherds Pie. Tastiest thing we had on the bill. But still instant potatoes. Service was odd. Only way to put it. Questions were answered but as if we had asked the most ridiculous question known to man. Had to request things multiple times. Drunk refills never appeared. Really confused about the high rating here and maybe it's more for the booze and not the food.
