Do NOT host events here. We planned to host my sisters bridal shower here and the entire set up was extremely unorganized. The event coordinator told us to arrive at 12:30 to set up. We arrived at 12:30, it was closed and no staff was around. They finally let us in after 1. It was raining so we had to move inside. When we tried to set up inside we were given no direction on where we could go. After half way through our set up, the event coordinator called yelling at us that we were in the wrong spot. The event coordinator was never on site and the staff had no idea they had an event in the spot we had set up in. We had to move right before the showers start. The event coordinator should have been on site and clearly communicated with the staff the events happening that day. read more

They had some of the ciders that I had in Austin Texas so that was good memories. My poor was very good and generous and very good tasting as well. The bartender was super awesome very friendly. I like having a nice drink on a warm summer day which happens to be in November and an outdoor beer garden as there is nothing like that experience. If I was in the area definitely would come back again. Parking this time of day and at this juncture was quite easy but I imagine during the week it would be very difficult to find parking and they do give tickets here quite frequently. I came here for the first time as part of a corn hole league but have always heard great things over the years for post work happy hours. The outdoor is cute and has a nice sized bar with some pretty good frozen drinks- I recommend the frozen lemonade with vodka, which wasn't too strong. We spent a bit of time inside, which had darts, pool tables, and games and a really old school vibe. The bartender inside was so sweet and funny. They have happy hour 3-8 inside so take advantage of it. We ordered chicken tenders and fries, mac and cheese bites, fried pickles, and a chicken quesadilla. I highly recommend the pickles and the mac and cheese bites- otherwise food was OK. Fries are really bland somehow and quesadilla a bit small. This place is nearly ideal if you're looking for a location that seems to be doing safety right, yet still feels relatively normal. Visited on a Saturday afternoon, and appreciated that they were playing familiar "bar tunes"over the loudspeaker. My beer lover friends enjoyed rotating through their decent selection of drafts and cans, while I greatly enjoyed their version of a boozy blackberry Arnold Palmer. My companions also raved about the friendly bar tender who gave excellent beer recommendations based on their wished for tastes. As far as safety procedures...QR code menus, masks required when ordering, tables spaced well apart, they are limiting total people allowed inside. Even at their new max capacity it does not feel overly cramped or difficult to maneuver around people. Chicken tenders were mediocre, but fine if you are just looking for a snack to tide you over. For a beautiful Saturday afternoon I was surprised that there was only 2 employees servicing the tables. So after I order a pitcher for my table I was never approached again for food or other drinks for my party. I saw those same employees taking other tables orders. I won't be too harsh being a new place and understaffed. After I order a brat with pretzel roll and fries. My food looked pretty good until I sliced the brat in half and is was RAW inside. I let the server know and she wanted to show the kitchen staff then offered to make another one. But I lost my appetite since I already took a bite. I was disappointed because the manager never had the courage to solve this incident. This poor server was trying to handle it the best she can. The atmosphere is really nice and, honestly, makes Rosslyn seem like a much livelier place than normal. The crowd is young because of all the offices it's surrounded by, and it's typically pretty packed outside on a nice day. It's hard to beat having a place with outdoor space right near your office on a summer day. The food is decent, the prices are pretty standard, they have happy hour during the week until 7 (I think), and the service is... so-so. It has not been the quickest the few times I've gone, but mainly because it's typically so crowded that the couple servers are just doing their best to make their rounds to each table. A nice thing about the way they handle tabs is that they have an iPad they walk around with to each table and you can close out super quick. I'll definitely be back, but know it's really the atmosphere that makes this place what it is. read more

The food is quite typical for a beer garden - brats, pretzels and other nibblers. The food is nothing special but I like it. When it comes to service it's not the best I've seen (including at their older sister bar Continental Pool Lounge). I've been to the pool lounge before but this was my first time at the beer garden. We arrived around the time they opened on a Saturday and were thrilled to see that they have happy hour! Unfortunately everyone we encountered (bouncer, bartender, potential manager) was unfriendly and rude. We had a dog with us who was being held by a friend and when he put his paws on the table (a picnic table outside) a female manager? came over and not only asked for the dog to get off the table but went so far as to scold us because "people eat on these tables and it's incredibly inconsiderate of us to let him near the table." We are totally on board with respecting the rules of an establishment but a) you could have asked nicely to have the dog put back on the ground (it's not like we had done this multiple times) and b) do you not clean your tables? To make matters worse, the music was way too moody and depressing for a nice Saturday. It was a really disappointing experience because I think they have the potential to be a cool spot in Rosslyn with a great happy hour but it doesn't seem like they actually want people to come there. Based on the lack of people there on a Saturday, I'd expect it's the staff/music keeping people away, not the dogs on tables. read more

My company came here for a Friday happy hour and enjoyed the comfortable open air space under string lights with prompt drink service and buffet food. The service was friendly, quick, and accommodating to our large group. I loved both the red and white sangrias, and the pretzel bites were to die for. I was here on the 4th of July. The atmosphere was great! The music playlist was amazing and it allowed me to have some sort of normalcy during these times. This place is awesome. As others have mentioned, they do what they can given their location next to the end of a bus route, but I digress. Great place to gather with friends new and old over beer and very reasonably portioned and priced snacks. The food isn't anything to write home about, but there is good variety for what at first glance seems like a more barebones beer garden when compared to Dacha or the like. They have games, which is a win in my book, and are reasonably busy most nights given the local corporate crowd of Rosslyn. Continental offers a variety of beers, and you can order from a server in the garden or at the register.
