Walked in, immediately Sam signed me up for Karoake. Wings were diabolically great. Regulars bought me drinks. 10/10 would drink again.

Local spot with live music. Friendly staff and locals! Super chilled. Upstairs is a chill spot. Downstairs is live music more social.

This a great place to to spend your money at! But it definitely depends on who is working, I would say the customer service is bad.

It is a nice quiet, hidden speak easy with great vibes. The service was impeccable. The bartender was very friendly and attentive. She gave great suggestions for drinks. We decided on a sour. Which was whisky, lemon, and honey. It was perfectly mixed and served. I also tried the Toki Highball which was excellent. It was rich in flavor and not too strong. If you are really into Whisky King's Ransom needs to be on your list to visit. Unfortunately, we did not order food but the couple next to us ordered the pizza and fries and it looked delicious. The ambiance was great. Its a little upscale with dark lighting. The raised bar and lighting add to the unique experience. This bar is great for date night or just a night out with friends in Alexandria, Va. If you are in the area check it out...you won't be disappointed. Cheers!

The "hidden" speakeasy is just a second floor bar. (And the bar is nothing remotely like a speakeasy vibe). Tried to order Hendricks gin. Nope. Then Bombay Sapphire. Nope. I never been to the Bayou Room but it was a great experience. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by a waiter who welcomed us. The ambiance and vibes were great. They had a guitar band that night who were phenomenal. They were really talented. I wish I knew their name. Apparently, the Bayou Room has live entertainment every night. I hope that I am able to see them again. They were very engaging and interactive with the audience. It added to the ambiance. It was pretty crowded so I did not get to walk around too much but they have seating upstairs, bar seating as well as a general area for tables on the main floor. And you can hear the music and enjoy the entertainment no matter where you sit. They also allow you to smoke inside so many people had cigars which adds to the ambiance. If you don't like the smoke smell then it might not be the place for you. Unfortunately, we did not order any food. However, I ordered an old fashioned which was very tasty. I asked for it to be a little sweeter than traditionally made and it was delicious. It was a little strong but I really enjoyed it. Overall, it was a great experience. I really enjoyed the live entertainment and the incredible vibes. I recommend checking it out if you are in the area. I will be back soon. Cheers!

The bartender that we had, was somewhat attentive. She was kinda in and out with service, also acknowledging that there were other customers in the room. But I do wish she was a little more attentive. Other than the missed service, this Bayou Bar was decent. An okay place to get some drinks or relax a little bit before going upstairs for a jazz performance or some dinner reservations.

Anyhoo, met some friends for drinks here and it was fantastic. The People's Drug has been reimagined, with a general store, lunch counter style but a decidedly modern take on its offerings. Serving chef-driven gourmet sandwiches, locally-sourced bowls, and crafted cocktails, it's the perfect place for all manner of social indulgences. I spent $100 on drinks. I had a Negroni Incognito w/Italian Dill and a couple Old Fashioneds. We didn't order any food (although it looked good going by). Will definitely try some the next time. Upon entering the restaurant, first impression was that it was clean compared to other sports bars. We reserved the private room which was comfortable. Usually when I frequent sports bars, I have a hard time finding something on the menu that I find appetizing. Well, not here! I've been a fan of mushrooms since childhood and so the mushroom ravioli stood out to me and it was delicious! It's a hefty portion if you add additional protein. Too bad I forgot my to-go container and noticed when I was nearly home :( I tried my friend's Fish & Chips which were equally delicious and perfectly crispy. I'll come back to get my own plate of Fish & Chips and French Onion Soup. The White Russian was especially well-done. They also had St. Patrick's Day specials and while I don't think I would try the Sparkling Shamrock in the future though enjoyed that they had fun options to try. I also am appreciative that there are a handful of non-alcoholic options for someone like me who gets easily flushed. This was my first non-alcoholic beer I've tried and am a fan. The restroom is a bit awkward; upon entering the women's restroom, there is only a single stall and not sure if there is a lock mechanism - anyone can enter and could enter the stall if you aren't holding the stall door restroom. I don't mind the community seating, but I do prefer assigned seats. It would be nice if they sold seats based on the location of the table. However, they conveniently provided extra parking across the street at St. Rita's. The sound was great. Jeffrey Osborne sounded amazing. He even walked through the theater a couple of times. It was a good time. I didn't try the food, but people seemed to enjoy it. My table had chicken fingers and the wing baskets. They said it was good.
