I used to work here for a few years and I can say it's gone extremely downhill I have low profile car I couldn't access sight of the oil filter without taking it off and draining the oil I had gone to this oreillys and ERIC "helped" me and look up a filter for me I buy the filter and oil and go to change my oil I put on the oil filter and oil no problems start the car my OIL FILTER ROLLED OUT FROM UNDER THE CAR AND I NOW HAVE 7 quarts of oil in my driveway why did this happen you ask it wasn't installers error it wasn't the threads being messed up it was because this employee sold me the wrong filter turns out this dumbass looked up a c6 oil filter instead of a c5 and didn't think to double check with me what kind of vehicle I had Avoid this location at all costs if you do go in have your part number ready and don't listen to anything this guy from autozone now oriellys employee has to say his head is full of hot air and that's all he blows out Jeff fire this guy he's going to hurt more than help if you even care about your stores (Jeff is the district manager by the way) read more

First time here was a great experience. Came for some simple things: new wipers, an air freshener and a new phone charger cable. The employee looked up my vehicle and escorted me to the wipers and recommended a pair that were on sale for buy one get one free. Then he pointed me to the air fresheners and started directing me to the phone cables. Then he stopped and pulled a new cable from the rack behind the counter and just gave it to me free of charge. OReilys carries parts and oils for the high end vehicles. They don't keep everything on the shelf so make sure you ask if you don't see it. They can pretty much order and get you what you need. They will also price match for you if you let then know you found something cheaper somewhere else. They also offer a 5% military discount and a points reward system. Poor customer service- I went in this morning as soon as they opened because I had to jump my battery. The battery was under warranty. The manager would not check my battery or replace it because it was raining. He told me it would not be safe for him to do that. Later that day I tried to start the car and the battery was dead again. This time I went to another O'Reilly store in Austin and they were so helpful. The worker there checked my battery and found out it was bad and replaced it for me. He did this in the rain. When I told him the other guy would not help me because it was raining and it would not be safe he let me know that was not the case. I appreciate his help. Stopped in to by a new battery for my expedition. The manager who processed the transaction offered to replace the battery while I waited. There was a bunch of corrosion on the terminal but he went about his work. Took him 30 minutes to get the terminal released. He was very patient and helpful. Very thankful. Great job! read more

I needed a headlight one day and the service gal that assisted me was kind, Knowledgeable of what I needed and I didn't have to wait long. I needed further assistance the next day. I called and Ronnie answered the phone very cheerful and prompt. I stated my question and he was very helpful. In fact he went out of his way and told me an experience he once had and could take a look at my vehicle and he might be able to help me out as well. I went back in and Sure enough! Horrible customer service. Jordan was completely useless and just cost O'reilly a customer for life. I was at this location a couple weeks ago to return a product. Nice guy working there had a good tip about use, but said if it didn't work bring it back. So it didn't work. I try to return it today, and am told by Jordan that HE won't take it back. He huffed and puffed because he had to walk 15 feet to get the sku number. Don't waste your time shopping here. Lots of Auto parts stores in the area that give a shit about your business. read more

After looking for a part for my truck, I figured O'Reillys would be a good place to go since I shop there often. So away I went. I got the stuff off the shelf I needed and went to the counter to ask for the other parts I needed. He quoted me a price 40$ higher than the dealer. When I told him about the price difference, he informed me that O'Reillys is a 10 billion dollar company and he is pretty sure he knows how to price parts. So I told him I'm pretty sure I'll buy from the dealer then. When I was leaving, in front of another customer, he started his rant again on how if I go get quotes, he can price match, but until I do that, I can pay their price or walk. So I walked. I'm not mad and I expect this out of some employees at any company. Sometimes they have a bad day. But I refuse to see the work manager on his shirt and accept that kind of disrespect out of management. I won't mention names, since I refuse to use them in the future, but it was a manager at this location. I have 6 trucks I maintain and i used to use them religiously. Not anymore. Some of the other employees are awesome. And some always have a chip on their shoulder. And I apologize to the good people there but I will no longer be using O'Reillys, even if it takes a week to get something somewhere else when you have it in stock. read more
