I also took it in for an oil change and state certification. Upon picking up my vehicle, they emailed me a report, which is nice. However, they merely went through a book that said "at this amount of mileage replace this", and "this amount of mileage also replace this". And then they recommended that I replace those items. What got my attention is why it said to replace the spark plugs and I had just replaced the spark plugs about 5000 miles ago because I was going on a long trip and I wanted to make sure that everything was OK. I actually had the whole car looked over to make sure everything was OK before I went on that 3000 mile drive, So I knew that the spark plugs were only 5000 miles old. I asked the girl out front if they actually looked at the spark plugs or if they just took it off of a list because my spark plugs are only 5000 miles old. She said they just take it from the list. And then I looked closer at my email where it said that my struts needed to be replaced and under the reasoning, it said "manufacturers recommendation". There were more things that were very expensive to be replaced because it was "manufacturers recommendation" not because anyone looked at my car. If I was not aware, I would've spent a great deal of money, replacing things that were not broken. Customer beware here. Just because they say replace it, it doesn't mean it needs to be replaced. I want a real mechanic that can look at something and see a problem or not and not look at a book and say it's at 75,000 miles replace this! I could've done that by myself . I'm giving two stars because the woman sitting in front of the business was kind and patient and informative. She earned one star for lambs with her smile. I am very disappointed in this Lambs. I won't be back.

I do…read more Well, this morning, I took my wife's car here to have them check the brakes because of a squeeking sound coming from one wheel. The car has 37000 miles on the odometer. After a not too long wait, the service sales person came over and gave me an estimate on replacing brakes and rotors. He then stated that a squeeking sound isn't always a sign of needed repair and that I could get another 40 K miles out of my existing brakes. I guarantee you that there are several companies in my area that would hav told me that I needed to do the job right now. I have been to this Sun Auto several times and will continue to bring my business here.

This team has offered the BEST auto service I've ever experienced thus far…read more My car decided to not start while I was out running errands and I was really nervous about having to spend so much money on towing AND diagnostic testing so soon after just making another large purchase on a repair I needed. I spoke with Alan C. on multiple occasions before finally deciding to just get a quote for towing and everything to going forward with it to get it over with (I didn't really have a choice at this point). Alan was patient and so informative about pricing, timing, and everything. Once he found out how close I was to the business (literally a 2-minute walk), he and another team member, Josh, drove out themselves and jumped my car so I could drive it around the corner to the shop for further inspection. I saved sooo much time and money because of this courtesy, they did not have to do this, yet they did. I was able to get in and out in under 30 minutes with a new battery, a cheaper inspection to make sure my battery wouldn't give out again, and some further recommendations for my next service so that the quoted prices would be saved in their system. BEYOND thankful for this team, thank you again Alan, Josh, and the rest of the team!

Same tire, so we went out to inflate it. The first gas station we LOST air, the second did nothing. So we pulled in here, not sure if they could even help but the guy we talked to was fast, said it would be no problem and said we were the 3rd or 4th to come over today about losing air at the other gas station. He was quick and fast even though they had several cars there they were working on. They also didn't charge for air and checked all the tires even when we said we only had one bad one as we didn't want to take up more of their time. But he handled all 4 tires and we were so thankful. Good to know they are here and we will have to go back for other services.
