Spinach pie and side Greek salad
    Amanda C.

My family and I had dinner here tonight. We cannot say enough good things about this place. The service is impeccable, and they really make you feel like family. Don't let the huge menu scare you off, as there is something for everyone! My son had a kid's hamburger and fries, which he said was the most delicious burger he's had. My husband had a chicken gyro platter, and I had spinach pie with a side Greek salad. The portions are enormous, and the food absolutely delicious. We had vegan meatballs and tzatziki dip for appetizers, and baklava and gelato for dessert. We will definitely be coming back soon!!

We wanted Gyros so decided to order from here since we drive by all the time. We ordered 2 Gyros & Chef's fries. The Gyros were very good with fresh ingredients. The fries freshly cut with herbs & feta cheese...good but too salty. That won't stop us from ordering again BUT it would be smarter to pickup because GrubHub delivery is overpriced. O Blaxos' prices are reasonable and portions are generous :)

We have visited Linda at O Blaxos several times over the past few years. The food and service have always been great. We visited for my wifes birthday 2/7/2025. Everyone has opinions and some times do not have a good experience. But if you are thinking about it, go visit and try it yourself.

    Bifteki and pork skewer platter

A great family spot with great service and even better food! Everything is made to order so you have to be patient, but it gives you time to talk and enjoy the food I'm between each course! The appetizers were great and my whole party had the Skewer platters with different combinations of meat! Highly recommend the sour cherry soda from Greece too!!!!! This place was a 10 out of 10 Highly Recommended!!!

Confusing me with someone else; and I am not Arabic nor Greek. Didn't enter or talk to you or anyone else in the business.

I try not to be too harsh with local business but I have to say the gyros are pretty much basic. As well as the grape leaves. And the calamari. And the tzatziki. The general rule on the east coast is if they have falafel- it's not Greek. They definitely do have falafel but also have a statement about bringing authentic Greek food to the table. Conundrum. But the taste is what I am rating. We picked up so delivery isn't in question; nor is their dining experience. The mediocrity of the food wouldn't be masked by phenomenal service either way, however. Unfortunately I can't recommend it. Plenty of other options to frequent. I assume it's a convenient location, however - if you work or live in that area. Ok and now I just got threatened by the manager that she will call the cops if I don't give her my partner's credit card number to "prove" I've eaten there otherwise I'm "abusing" her and her business. Ridiculous. Adults do not behave this way. Constructive criticism and personal opinion are not abuse. And once again... I'M NOT ARABIC!!! She clearly has me confused with someone!

    Roasted beets-seasoned, with warm pitas

Enjoy a delicious Greek dinner at this friendly family-run restaurant's in Mt. View, Wayne. Relaxing atmosphere, extremely pleasant staff. The menu is extensive. I chose a tasty roasted beet appetizer served with warm pitas.(so good that I ordered a serving to-go for tomorrow). My main course was Makarona Me Kima (Greek version of spaghetti Bolognese). Excellent ! For dessert I ordered creme Brûlée cheesecake and a coffee latte. Also very tasty. And for tomorrow's breakfast, an egg & cheese sandwich (good ever leftover). I've eaten here several times. I highly recommend it. You'll definitely be satisfied.Bring the family. Great place for lunch meeting or small party.

First time here. Food is amazing. So fresh. They source organic and imported ingredients and you can tell. Service is awesome. One of the best gyros I've had in a long time. I had the beef & lamb and husband had the pork! We will definitely be returning.

    Chicken gyro

My wife's family picked up food from here the other night. My chicken gyro was awesome. My sister-n-law said her gyro was very good, and we both made a mess. My wife said her spanakopita was good, but she wished it was bigger. The fries were crisp and tziki was delicious. Everything tasted fresh and clean. I'll go back again and would recommend you try them out too.

Greek... honest to goodness Greek. Not American influenced. My second time to this little gem and I cannot get over how much the food and ambience take me back to my trip to Athens. Don't let the exterior looks of this small Mom and Pop restaraunt fool you, inside is as close to you can get to dining on the isle of Hedra while staying in the USA. Greek music, vibrant blues reminiscent of the medeteranian waters and a very friendly and helpful staff round out the ambiance. As for the food, again absolutely fantastic! Spanokapita, fried goat cheese, and an array of authentic dishes. There's a number of American dishes as well if you have non adventurous eaters in your group as well. Price points seem a bit higher than average, but I am willing to pay that for the sheer quality of the meal. I highly recommend giving O Blaxos a try, you will be back, I know I am.

From the moment you walk in, you're wrapped in warmth--by the people, the culture, and the unmistakable love poured into every single dish. The food? Spectacular doesn't even begin to cover it. Every visit, I either try something new or let them choose for me (which I highly recommend), and without fail, I'm blown away. Not once--not ever--have I been disappointed. Every bite feels thoughtful, soulful, and deeply rooted in tradition. The flavors are rich, comforting, vibrant, and unforgettable. You can taste the care, the history, and the pride behind the food. And the people? Truly some of the warmest, kindest souls you'll meet--welcoming you like family, not customers. I can honestly say I'm being slowly--but very happily--converted. The beautiful food, the incredible hospitality, the culture, the entire experience... it's something special. The Olive Bistro isn't just a meal, it's an experience, and one I crave again and again. Didn't really get a chance to visit until today. We got some good news, and I truly believe in celebrating on the same day. So we got ready quickly and drove 1 mile (haha yes, just 1 mile). It's super close to where I live. It was a cold winter night, and as expected, the restaurant was completely empty. From the outside, it doesn't look very big--but once inside, it actually is. There are two different seating areas and one separate space for parties/bookings or multipurpose events. The ambience was good, warm and inviting. We got our desired table easily and started browsing the menu. There were lots of options. we ordered: Kerven Mixed Grill - $60 It was a mix of everything, 1 skewer of Lamb kebab, 2 pc lamb chops, 2 pc meatballs, I replaced beef shish with lamb again, and Gyro The presentation was very eye-catching. The dish comes with fire in the middle and meats placed on both sides -- looked amazing. It's a lot of food for two people, for sure. Overall, the dish was 5/5, except for the lamb chops. They were cooked medium-well by default, but I personally prefer well-done. Other than the lamb chops, everything else was great: It also came with sauces, and they served balloon bread on the house, which was a nice touch. One thing to note: the meat gets cold pretty quickly, and once it's cold, it's not as enjoyable--so definitely eat it while it's hot... Overall, it was a nice fine-dining experience, perfect for family time and celebrating those small but meaningful good moments.

There was loud music when we entered, but it shortly was turned down/ off. Our server was quick to greet us and we placed our order. They give you bread and oil and we ordered the Mediterranean tour which contained hummus, eggplant and muhammara, which is made of red peppers. The place is BYOB, but the way. My friend got the chicken kebab and I got the Adana kebab, which is a mixture of lamb and beef. Our food was delicious and came out hot and the presentation was also beautiful! Throughout the night, the music would get super loud and I was unable to chat with my girlfriend right across the table from me. This happened various times through out the night, which was odd, but I was just happy it was not consistent. Otherwise, socializing would have been impossible. Our server also disappeared after a while, so I had to go up to the hostess to ask for our check when we were ready to go. Aside from that and the loud music, we enjoyed our dinner, overall!

This was not understaffing--there were plenty of employees walking by, simply choosing not to serve us.
