Amazing bagels and burritos but terrible delivery experience. I've been to their Hoboken store in person and it was great. However, this time I ordered from Uber Eats and it took them 2 hours to deliver two bagels (an hour late to the estimated arrival time). They use their own delivery staff instead of Uber's staff, so the usual tracking was unavailable and inaccurate. The delivery lady was nice but I was starving by the time I received my food. Speaking of the bagels itself, I was genuinely surprised by the lox n loaded cream cheese -- they truly loaded it up with huge lox chunks, radish, onion and dill. So delicious. I was just annoyed they didn't even cut my bagel into halves. It was a mess to cut a cream cheese heavy bagel at home. Would have given more stars before today, because I used to get my kid a sausage and egg bagel here nearly every Saturday since they opened. Today, when I went to order, I was told they don't make the breakfast sandwiches without cheese anymore, and they are some sort of "smashed" sandwich. The lady at the counter was very nice and said they could take the cheese off...but apparently they can't just make it without the cheese? Bizarre! I don't know if they have gone to some sort of pre-made concoction or what, but breakfast sandwiches aren't really something that needed a technological advance. Anyway, there are plenty of other places in town that will just make a breakfast sandwich without putting cheese on it that someone then has to pick off. We'll go to one of those. read more

Absolutely terrible experience. We came in with our two young children and placed a simple order--two bagel sandwiches and two plain bagels. After waiting 30 minutes, we asked about our order and were told it was "coming." Another check-in later, we were told it would be another 15 minutes because online orders were being prioritized over customers standing in the store. Meanwhile, multiple people in the shop were visibly frustrated, waiting excessively long for basic orders. The manager, Mike, was present, heard everything, and did absolutely nothing to help or manage the situation. At that point, we asked for a refund--which turned into another ordeal. It took an unreasonably long time for staff to even process it, and when they finally did, they couldn't provide any receipt or proof that the refund was issued. As parents with two small kids, this was beyond frustrating and completely unacceptable. Poor management, disorganized operations, and a total lack of customer care. We will never return, and I would strongly encourage others to think twice before coming here--there are plenty of better-run places nearby that actually value their customers' time. read more

I was hoping O Bagel was worth the long walk during a chilly and windy day and boy did it deliver!! After waiting in the line for about 10 mins, we ordered the jalapeño and cheddar bagel with the scallion schmear. The wait for the bagel was another 5 mins. The bagel was huge and packed with schmear, just how I like it. NY bagels are a league of their own and this bagel fit the bill with it being soft and fluffy and flavorful. The scallion schmear was out of this world and paired really well with the bagel. The bagels featured on O'Bagel's TikTok looked so delicious, steaming in the cold weather, that I simply had to trek out to Hoboken to try them out. They are located on the corner of Washington and Sixth, close by to Stevens. The flow of traffic in the store requires you to order and pay at the register first before receiving your bagel, which is the opposite of what I'm usually used to. I noticed there was also a shelf for pick-up orders, if you prefer to order in advance. I ordered two bagels, one with veggie cream cheese and another with scallion cream cheese, which came out to $10.56. The bagels were on the slightly smaller side, and were quite dense with a good chew. The veggie cream cheese was bell pepper heavy, crunchy, colorful, and quite generous. They did mess up my order and gave me two of the same bagels so I will be deducting a star for that. Otherwise, a solid bagel spot for the area! read more

I came here just after taking a workout class and was looking for a simple breakfast between classes and this place seems busy so thats usually an indicator that the place is good. They seem to be doing some construction so tight at the entrance but was able to get my order right away with no problem. The wait was about five minutes or so so thats usually was great as well. This is where the problem happened, as I sit to enjoy the weather and eat my sandwich I realize there is no bacon in my BEC! Split the sandwich apart, nada. Not sure what happened to forget this so disappointed as this is my first time coming. The sandwich was still tasty just wish I had the bacon part as a New Yorker we love our BEC and was looking forward to finding a good one. Terrible bagels terrible service that's all you need to know. I walked into an empty store on Saturday at 8:45am. Didn't get a bagel until after 9:10 despite them having 500 people working behind the counter. Too small inside to sit or even stand and wait for your bagels, but you have no choice. They are "making" the bagels in the back, though not really, they're delivered on a truck and wheeled over the street and sidewalk into the back and then just boiled and baked. Since there is no door separating the kitchen from the ordering counter, the boiling bagel steam wafts over to where you wait, which is exacerbated by the stoves, making it 100 degrees inside so you can sweat while you wait! Ordered a BEC SPK, grossly overpriced, undercooked bacon, sandwich was about the thickness of a children's book. Genuinely hilarious establishment because they spent a bunch of time "remodeling" the store and it's the exact same thing inside, maybe even smaller. Go anywhere else. read more

There was a short line leading outside (mostly because the register is right at the door, so you wouldn't go inside until after) but it moved quick. Our order was ready within minutes of ordering and we headed it. Off the bat, the Cookie Crumble Cold Brew was quite bitter and the sweetness of the cold foam wasn't enough to mask it. I took a few sips and even mixed it well, but it was not palatable. I came back and explained this to the lady who made the drink, and thankfully she was able to provide me a refund. I would probably stick to a basic coffee drink here instead or their bagels of course. Now onto the food! I loved the Bee Sting. Starting off with the everything bagel which was super fresh and actually soft and bouncy. O'Bagel also really understands what "scooped out" means which I appreciate. From the scrambled eggs, to the scallion cream cheese (they could've put less), to the turkey bacon, it was all nicely balanced and had great flavor. My one complaint is why is substituting turkey bacon a $2 upcharge instead of just an equal swap with regular bacon. It can't be that much more expensive. The Lox N Loaded was also really solid! All the ingredients were super fresh, particularly the sliced tomato and cucumbers. The smoked Nova salmon was slightly fishy but with all the other ingredients, it was barely noticeable. The Tater Tots were fresh, salty, and addicting especially with the chipotle aioli sauce. All in all, really great bagel spot. Highly recommend and I would come back! read more

It's not much on ambience. Lots of silver, very utilitarian - but hey, it doesn't matter if you're on the go. The gent behind the counter was *very* serious, but efficient (I'll take it!). I ordered the Jersey Classic, a sandwich with a bagel, eggs, American Cheese and your choice of Taylor Ham, Bacon, Sausage or Turkey Bacon. I decided to go with Taylor Ham to truly make this a classic! I also chose a Whole Wheat bagel so I could pretend I was making a healthy choice. My sandwich was ready within minutes, so kudos for speedy service. When you pick up your order it is at the end of the counter towards the back. I took it to eat outside at one of the long tables outside. Bagel sandwiches are a tricky thing. A lot of the time the bagel is a bit tough (especially after toasting) so you wind up having to basically rip the sandwich apart instead of just gently chewing it. Not so here! The bagel was nice and warm and perfectly chewy. The egg, ham and cheese were perfectly cooked. The sandwich was delicious and had the perfect texture.
