Avocado Toast

A perfect place for breakfast, brunch, lunch. They have variety of options in the menu which is impressive. Their bagels are always fresh-crispy and soft from inside. The staff is awesome and their service is excellent. Also I can say one the cleanest place to dine in. Fresh juice and immunity booster were great!!! I tried the avocado toast which was the best. I highly recommended place to visit. Trust me your taste bud will thank you

Amazing local business! Best breakfast spot in North Bergen. Very clean, modern, and welcoming environment. As soon as you walk in the fresh breakfast smell of eggs, bacon, and coffee hits you and it's instantly mouthwatering. Highly recommend!

This cute cafe was the most pleasant surprise! It was so good that we did breakfast at Vale's two…read moredays in a row. The staff is very kind and the wait is quite reasonable. They also had throwback alt rock playing both days, which I absolutely vibed with! The first day I had a simple but well done egg and cheese sandwich with an apple turnover! Prices are quite reasonable. The sandwich was only 6 or 7 dollars! On my second morning, I noticed their menu had changed, and I ordered Gruyère omelet of sorts with potatoes in it. Again, very lovely! Happy to have stumbled upon this welcoming place.

First off, the interior and attention to detail is so cute and aesthetically pleasing. Ambiance was so relaxing and just my vibe. I got the watermelon and mint juice, huevos rancheros, polenta fries, and mango pistachio Brulé French toast. Everything was 10/10! Watermelon and mint juice - so refreshing, great way to start off the morning. I just added a small lemon slice to add a bit of brightness to the drink, but great as is. Huevos rancheros - the corn tortilla was super crispy. Everything blended beautifully. We did ask for hot sauce like Tapatio or Cholula, but I guess they don't carry this and gave us more Verde salsa instead. No worries, I think it speaks volume that this place prides itself in giving guests condiments they specially made from scratch! Polenta fries - so crispy so good. Underneath the fries is some sort of sauce with horseradish. It's hard to explain. Just know that this was really good lol. Mango pistachio Brulé French toast - I am more of a savory breakfast type of person but something about this stood out to me so I decided to try it and don't regret it one bit. The mango purée and the French toast was like a perfect blend of something fresh with something super carb heavy. Aesthetically, I haven't seen anything like this, and it was just something beautiful and magically created. There's not many places where I'm just in awe of the food and also not many places where I think the price and the quality of the food matches as well. I am so glad I was able to try out this place and will always look forward to eating here again!

Menu options were different, I actually love it. We were seated immediately without reservations on a Saturday morning. I half want to not write this because I don't want the place to be crowded - so my spouse and I can always get a seat easily - but this place is too great to not continuing sharing. Shout out always to Will - manages this place with the utmost service and care for its customers. Food: 1. Huevos rancheros with chorizos 2. Crispy bird chicken sandwich The eggs and verde [green] sauce was fantastic. The chorizos were not salty or oily - just perfect. My wife loved her Burger. Inside is multiple chicken tender pieces and the flavor was fantastic. We felt fulfilled - with leftovers - satisfied beyond doubt - and not bloated. End of updated review [Second time coming]: Highly recommend - and they are opening up the back for OUTDOOr Seating in 2-3 weeks! Highly recommend to come. Will remembered us and again provided us a desert on the house.

I stopped by here for breakfast as I was on my way upstate for a hike. I saw the good Yelp reviews…read moreand was excited for good food and coffee. I rarely give middling or low reviews so it pains me a bit to do so, but this place is kind of dirty and the coffee isn't great. The food is totally decent, but I think our experience as a whole was soured by a little cockroach skittering across the side wall and eventually on my seat. This could have been a rare coincidence, but the place inside just seemed kind of grimy in general. Our table was gross when we sat down and had to be thoroughly wiped before we could start eating. My girlfriend and I also both smelled super oily the entire rest of our ride in the car, which I think has to do with the grills being so close and open right next to our seats. Overall, since the food was decent and service was good, I still give 3 stars and qualify that perhaps the roach was just an unlucky coincidence, but we certainly won't be going back again.

I went with a traditional breakfast (eggs, bacon, french fries) and it came with a side of some toast, coffee & juice. I also ordered a round of the french toast to taste since the pictures on their menu looked super appetizing. The food was incredible, everything tasted great and although the fries could have been a tad bit better, it was easy to forget since everything else was so good and our waitress was so attentive/kind. Something about this place just had that "breakfast from home" feeling and would definitely check this spot out if you're in the area!

I have driven throughout Edgewater for years and have not seen Madison Café and Grill. Thanks to…read moreYelp, my curiosity was piqued and I'm so glad that I visited. The restaurant has an interesting history. Even though the original opened in Cresskill, NJ, it unfortunately has permanently closed. However, not only is the Edgewater location amazing, but it had the guts to open during COVID (2022), survived, and is succeeding. The restaurant is beautiful inside and outside. Their decorations are tasteful, the presentation of the food is award winning, and the service is stellar. I started with a Mocha Cappuccino and it was so good. Served in a large mug, an airy/creamy top, and had the perfect amount of mocha happiness throughout. Before the meal even started, we were graciously given Za'atar (a popular Middle Eastern spice blend with an earthy, tangy, and nutty flavor, toasted sesame seeds, and sumac, with salt). It was crunchy, drizzled with oil, and I enjoyed how each thin pita bite made the spices explode all over the table. The entrees were: Strawberry French Toast. The next was the Falafel Platter (chickpeas and fava bean balls, served with tahini sauce, pickles, turnips, tomato, and mint). The last selection was the Avocado Toast (Citrus cured salmon over multigrain bread, tomatoes, onions, capers & citrus vinaigrette). Not only were all of these dishes beautifully presented, but all were filling, as well. My Avocado Toast kept me full for the rest of the day and the salmon was enjoyably salty, thin, and delicious. I noticed a dessert in their display case and ordered it. The dessert was the Riz Bil Ashta (Lebanese rice cream, infused with orange blossom water, blended with milk and cheese, and topped with crushed pistachios). This dessert tasted like a regal custard and the pistachios added an enjoyable texture that makes it recommended. Of course, I had to cap the meal with a Mocchiato. This amazing beverage followed the rest of the meal..... delicious, eyes closed good, and every sip was full-flavored. Thank you, Madison Café and Grill, for presenting a memorable meal and I wish you continued success.

I have fine memories of walking through the streets of Recoleta and Palermo at night in search of a quality alfajore, or mornings started with a dulce-filled medialuna and a coffee.
