This morning started out very busy. Wanted to make fresh, cold pressed green juice at home but did not have time. Thank goodness for Juice Press. Stopped inside for a healthy dose of green juice. Thank you Justin for helping me, and others start our morning off on a good start with healthy food, and excellent good, cheerful vibes. Could not ask for better service. Highly recommend this location. The sitting area is very calm, clean, and relaxed. read more

This review is for a Juice Press location in West Village, where I ordered a blue spirulina smoothie. As expected for New York, it felt overpriced, and the flavor was not especially memorable. However, everything was blended to complete smoothness. The smoothie was thick and completely chunk-free, with no chunks of banana or other ingredients, which is exactly the consistency I prefer. Beyond smoothies, this location offers plenty of snacks, food items, and fresh hot meals. It also has lots of tables and seating, making it a convenient option for people who work nearby and want to stop in for a quick lunch. Overall, the smoothie was fine, and the location seems well set up to serve the neighborhood. read more

Service and ambiance were solid. The options for smoothies here were not as good as juice generation, and everything is plant based meaning they only have almond milk. No normal no oat milk. I got a non milk based option (green passion) and it was really good and healthy!! There just aren't many options here read more

Love the products but it's clear the owners don't care about customer service. Place is staffed by one person and the wait is not worth it. Get some staff or goodbye. read more

Juice Press juices used to be labeled (all over, on the large signs outside, inside and on the juice bottles themselves with the certified organic label). This is all gone now and when I asked and wrote to the company I got vague and muddled answers. Also, the person at the counter basically chastised me saying "it's vegan, paleo, gluten free, natural...what more do you want." I want organic. Well it's also misrepresented online too as being organic, but they no longer have all organic juices. Be honest with people. read more

I stopped in here for a smoothie after fasting for most of the day. I was super impressed with their wide range of ingredients. In addition to juices and smoothies, they also sell a bunch of healthy snacks as well as "nature inspired" cleaning and skin care products. I opted for the Green Light smoothie. It included a free booster and I added plant collagen. Despite the name, this smoothie did not taste light at all. It was very thick and creamy. It was listed at only 90 calories, but even the small size felt like a full meal. Although not what I was expecting, it was still delicious. Whenever banana is added to a smoothie, it tends to overwhelm all the other ingredients. The banana taste was strong, but the other flavors were balanced out pretty well. This is definitely a high end shop. My small smoothie was more than $11, but I'm still glad I stumbled upon this gem for a healthy splurge. read more

I'm extremely disappointed with the customer service at Juice Press. I placed an online order for the West Village location by accident, after misreading the address and thinking it was a different location. I tried calling this location within seconds of placing the order. Their phones either don't work, or they never pick up. I've reached out to Juice Press' customer service by email, and by their form on their website. No response, and I'm still out almost 37 dollars for only TWO smoothies. It really shouldn't be this hard to get in contact with customer service! read more

I will give Juice Press 3 stars and this is only because I did enjoy their Advanced Berry Blend with almond butter added in. However, I was a shocked by the price for a small smoothie. I did understand I was getting a smoothie in NYC but you can also get the same if not better at a local bodega for about half the price. Also, the staff at this location weren't pleasant either time I visited. read more

Found this place while I was waking around thirsty and somewhat irritable from running in the heat . I had a tough time trying to figure out what I wanted to drink- settled on the clean green, 16oz. Definitely hit the spot. Tasted mostly of almond (which is ok to me) and I wished I omitted the banana. There's always a next time! Also, probably because I was very hot, the store has great A/C. read more

I love this location! It's clean, well stocked, offers a very large communal style table. The cashier, Jen was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. It's always really nice to have exceptional customer service. My smoothie was made well with the perfect balance of ingredients. My order was also ready in a timely manner. Such a convenient location! My favorite go to is the Blueberry Genius shake! It was also really nice to have a Rose Water Toner tester at the cashier for a nice pick me up! read more

Friendly service on early Saturday afternoon, I was greeted as I entered, looked at the listing of juices and smoothies. I ended up going with Ginger Turmeric Tonic, as I drink a Turmeric Tonic on a regular basis from another juice company in Ohio and was needing a kick to my immune system and my gut from a cold I was trying to fight. The associate thanked me for my selection and wished me well as I went on my way. Thanks for the great service and fresh pressed juice in the city. read more

3.5 stars. VERY rich, tasty Raw Chocolates (3 truffles, $5 total), flavored with strong dark cocoa and a hint of coconut. You'll need a LOT of water to go with these! I got mine for free with a LevelUp credit. There was also some trail mix, raisins, and kale chips for $5 or less here. Their sample of Ravioli was pretty good, too. Clean space. Huge flatscreen TV that shows what's going on in the back kitchen. Good chocolate, but pricey, so I wouldn't return without another promo offer. read more

This isn't just a rating for this location but for the company. I used to be a HUGE juice press fan... from back in the day when they used to have the snarky labels. I would get a smoothie ever morning from this location when I used to work on 14th street. I live in LA and have for the last 4 years so I've missed the gradual decline of JP. I guess things started to go downhill when they got rid of the snarky labels... but even when I visited NYC two years ago they still had most of my favorite things. When I went in this time I was kind of shocked. They were carrying a ton of random snack brands that don't really seem to fit with JP ethos. The juices honestly all looked old and separated. Smoothie menu was super different. But most of all they got rid of the raw oatmeal?! That was THE juice press classic. I also couldn't find the kale salad. Why would you get rid of/ change two of your most popular items? Finally found some oatmeal but it looked super different. I asked the girl at the counter if it was the raw oatmeal and she just looked looked at me blankly and said "what?" And I tried rephrasing "are the ingredients in this raw?" She shrugs and goes "i dunno"... I know it's hard to find staff these days but... jeez. Also I got the oatmeal and it's completely different and made with rolled oats which are way less nutritious... basically instant oatmeal. Whole experience felt super downgraded from the old JP... but with the same high prices. The whole space looks like it could use a good scrubbing. Only giving them two straws because I like the straws they use and they gave me a large smoothie even though I ordered/ paid for a small. Sad to see one of my favorite NYC staples go down the drain :( read more

Such wonderful people at this location and a large table by the window ideal for getting a little work done while enjoying a smoothie. Shout out to Emily and Nicole! These associates helped choose items and let me know if I sign up for their email blasts I would notified when they have sales. They have great deals like buy 1 soup get another for $1. Great product selection and friendly customer service. 10/10 read more

This particular Juice Press location is the best. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure your experience in the store is unmatched. There has been times where I requested a certain drink, but they were sold out. But, the staff made sure when I came back for my next visit, the drink I requested was in stock. No matter what time or day, the staff is on top of things. Kareem, Dallaina, and Maia are thee best, hands down. They have always my visit rememberable, and better than the previous visit before! Great job Juice Press on the staffing and store development. read more

The Summary: Atmosphere - 5/5 Neighborhood - 5/5 Food - N/A Drinks - 4/5 Inclusivity - 3/5 Experience - 4/5 The Story: As a chain this is overpriced, especially compared to similar-tasting smoothies I've had in the past (I ordered the Strawberry Banana). But, my rating is based on this location in particular. The staff were so friendly, and clearly had relationships with the customers as people who walked in could call out to the staff by name. It was cute to see, and it's been a while since I've seen that level of kindness between customers and staff members. I also noticed the difference it made when the staff told customers to have a nice day, or when they asked how the customers were doing. They're short & simple phrases that go a long way. I came here on 5/11 in the afternoon, so this is a shoutout to those who had shifts then! read more

Tastes good, very friendly and helping staffs, and the good thing is that it opens till pretty late for a juice/açai bowls spot. A bit on the pricey side like Liquiteria is pretty pricey for a smoothie but sometimes I think it's worth it, but this is even more expensive than Liquiteria's smoothie with about the same ingredients. Decent sized and tables and seats inside so you can eat in or take it to go. They have ready made bottles in the fridge on the left side but you can order fresh ones. The Genius Blueberry tastes pretty good and my friend loved her matcha latte (iced). Walkable to the subway station and not hard to find. Good experience overall but not a place I'd frequent unless it's at night and I really want a smoothie but everything else is closed. read more

You're not cleansed, you're just brainwashed. You're deluding yourself, even if they're not diluting your drink. The prices here, if you can even find them, are absurd. I'll refrain from extolling the benefits of whole foods over liquefied sugar, however 'natural'. Yelp classifies the $$$$ price range as 'Ultra High-End', but in Juice Press' case, it should be converted to 'Members Only', as this is a crushed-fruit&veg cult. Redeemed the same $5 LevelUp credit here (the trainee replied 'LevelUp? I don't know what that is' and needed to be assisted) that was mentioned by others and all it got me was two tiny pieces of chocolate (and three samples). I also noticed I became the Duke after two measly check-ins...better get step your cult game up, sheep. I hope that someone gets my...sugar in a bottle.. Returned to redeem a generous credit for some decent food - schmear and superfood bowl Transaction Amount $15.24 Credit Applied -- $15.00 Total Spent $0.24 read more

I am trying new ways if eating using less calories. Funny way of saying I am not fat just a little on the plump size. So decided to check this place out and man the prices are quite expensive. And all items are pAckaged already and says fresh daily. If it's fresh daily then why would you need an expiration date. Today is the 4th and my drink has a expiration date for the 8th Lol! It's ok but I will stick to my usual spot where the make drinks fresh to order. Now that's how I fall in love listening to the blender whir & grind my kale. read more

1. Your soup is absolutely DELISH 2. You are incredibly FRESH 3. You are really OVERPRICED I would love to come here more often, but honestly, I can't afford it! Use to come here all the time and got smoothies and they were so filling and nutritious... I tried going here twice in the last week and both times I went they served me large smoothies of green ice. It's was probably no more than one or two leaves of kale with a full cup of ice water.. I genuinely thought it was a prank at first and then tried it and could tell half the ingredients weren't in the smoothie and it was just 99% ice.. definitely not going to go here anymore.. really disappointed. read more

The only reason I'm not giving it a 5 is because I only tried one thing, but that thing that I tried was SO DELICIOUS! My yoga place is close by, and every thing that I pass by Juice Press, I'm intrigued. This time I waked in and tried the Fountain of Youth smoothie, and I dare to say it's one of the best smoothies I've ever tasted. And the best part about it that it's no guilty pleasure - I felt full but not heavy, I felt like my body is getting some goodness and nutritions from it and it felt great! I live up in WH but I might go down there after a good workout, just get that delicious smoothie or maybe try an Acai bawl. read more

Juice Press - Fountain of Youth smoothie - SO GOOD! - Juice Bars & Smoothies Near Me - New York, New York

Super friendly and quick service. My review is specifically based on the açaí bowl since it's the only thing I order whenever I'm here. The almond butter acai is a little powerhouse meal. Thicker than a smoothie, chock full of yummy and with a free topping to boot! If I'm in the area and in the mood for acai, this is my go-to. I haven't tried their soups yet, but they look pretty tasty. Their menu is extensive and full of health nutty options. They're a little pricier than what I'm used to paying in Brooklyn or LIC but worth checking out if you're in the 'nabe. read more

Repeat offender and proud of it. This place *is* absolutely spendy but it's got great smoothies and soups and açaí bowls and juices and chocolates. So. The mushroom lentil soup is extremely delicious. I crave it all the time. The Egyptian lentil soup is also very flavorful and left me satisfied. The blue magic and mint chip smoothies are standouts for me. They have more calories but I have them as meal replacements. Friendly staff, and pretty good/ service. I once splurged on the coconut cacao chocolate cube that was $5 (insane) and it was so creamy and decadent...it will be hard to resist again. read more

I really don't know why this place has so few stars. I didn't read the other reviews. I've been here at least 50 times, and it is consistently good. I never get tired of this place. I highly recommend any of the kelp noodles (in refrigerated section) and a matcha latte. Juice Press is adamant about freshness and cleanliness. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and considerate. If I had to complain about something--LOL--it would be that the seating is extremely limited. At times there is no place to sit or stand. But in all truthfulness, this is not a sit-down, dine-in joint. It's where u go to grab something healthy and satisfying on the go. Any and all of the juices and smoothies are superb. Give it a try! A $10 smoothie might be a lot of $ for some people. But if u are serious about your health, u will pay for it! I honestly come here as often as possible. read more

I work in the neighborhood, and was frequenting my local TD Bank, when I noticed that this Juice Press was right next door. I was on my way to West Side Market to get a salad, but thought, I'll stop in here and get a smoothie instead. When I walked in there were two employees (a female & a male) at the register. I picked up a "cleanse menu" and realized it didn't have smoothies in it, so I asked the gentleman and lady at the register where I could find the juice menu. They both stared at me like I had 4 eyes, and the gentleman pointed to the juice menu with a look like, "is there something wrong with you?" on his face. I proceeded to stand directly in front of them and declare that I was looking for a good filling smoothie, hoping they would help me or walk me through the smoothie menu, but both continued to look down & say absolutely nothing. I found a few smoothies that interested me, but honestly, I did not feel welcomed at all, in fact they made me feel like I was an outcast. I put the menu down and walked to West Side Market, I should have never stepped foot in that place & never will again. Customer service is key for places like this, and from the reviews that I've already read here, this place is known for their TERRIBLE customer service. I will also tell everyone in my workplace about this experience, and to never go there. Management, if you even read this site (doesn't seem like you do), train your employees to smile & be helpful - you're definitely losing out on key customers because of the poor service. Maybe you should stop in Liquiteria, across from the Google building on 8th Ave and check out their customer service - they have it perfected. read more

1. The juices here are great--I love the green giant, the guru, and the cell rejuvenator. 2. However, I am so fed up. I order from here EVERY single day Mon-Fri when I'm working and without fail it takes 3 hours to get to me. I order at 5:30 and every night I am starving while waiting to get what is essentially my dinner and it arrives at 9:00pm (or later). That's outrageous. I would order earlier, but my work only allows us to order if we are going to stay past 8 and I never know until 5:30 if I will. I would order from a different fresh juice company but none of the others deliver, so I am forced to order from here because what can I say? I like freshly made smoothies and juice. I also appreciate the fact that the smoothies come in sealed bottles, so they're never leaking. Bottom line, please Juice Press, I'm begging you... the manager, the owner, or the person in charge, PLEASE help us get our order delivered within a reasonable time. 1 hour, I'll even take 2. We all want your establishment to succeed, you make great juices, but do you realize that you are driving your customers away by your obscenely long delivery times? Have two delivery people, buy them a motorized bicycle, I don't know but do something. I'd be more than happy to change my 1 star to 5 once this gets resolved. read more

PROS: Delicious and unique juices and raw salads/snacks, 99% organic, hot soups, strange and often hilarious graphic design CONS: EXPEN$IVE, The world's crappiest customer service (at this location), the strange and hilarious graphic design is often hard to read It is sad but true that most of the people who work here are oblivious and idiotic teenagers. And if they aren't teenagers, they act like them: texting, chatting, doing anything but ringing you up for your purchases. I already feel guilty enough dropping 30 dollars on one juice, smoothie, and a salad. But I digress, you are what you eat and I refuse to eat garbage. That being said, I can often stomach the cost of what I am getting, but I can no longer stomach the terrible atmosphere in the place. Nothing makes you feel like a bigger fool than dropping a load of cash on a product to be treated like crap when you are buying it. COOL CUSTOMER SERVICE GUYS! ALSO - Chalk it up to me getting older and not needing every place I walk into to be a club - its so fracking loud in there. Just give it a rest, you'll still look REALLY cool at work. Trust me. AND be warned, this location can no longer serve COFFEE because of Starbucks so there is really no reason to go there. Used to be a regular customer even though when I went in, they often didn't have all their juices stocked and the juices dated one to two days before -- meaning they're not fresh. When I ask, they say they're all fresh daily. Nope, they're still trying to get rid of yesterday's and older juices. For the price, the juice should be absolutely fresh. Earlier today I placed an order online for juice delivery. Almost 3 hours passed, so I called customer service and was told the delivery was on the way. 20 minutes later a guy from the store calls and says most of the juices I ordered are out of stock and wanted to know if I'd like something else. Yeah... no one was on the way. I cancelled the order and won't be back. The worst customer service. read more
