Service and ambiance were solid. The options for smoothies here were not as good as juice generation, and everything is plant based meaning they only have almond milk. No normal no oat milk. Juice Press juices used to be labeled (all over, on the large signs outside, inside and on the juice bottles themselves with the certified organic label). This is all gone now and when I asked and wrote to the company I got vague and muddled answers. Also, the person at the counter basically chastised me saying "it's vegan, paleo, gluten free, natural...what more do you want." I want organic. Well it's also misrepresented online too as being organic, but they no longer have all organic juices. Be honest with people. read more

I stopped in here for a smoothie after fasting for most of the day. I was super impressed with their wide range of ingredients. In addition to juices and smoothies, they also sell a bunch of healthy snacks as well as "nature inspired" cleaning and skin care products. I opted for the Green Light smoothie. It included a free booster and I added plant collagen. Despite the name, this smoothie did not taste light at all. It was very thick and creamy. It was listed at only 90 calories, but even the small size felt like a full meal. Although not what I was expecting, it was still delicious. Whenever banana is added to a smoothie, it tends to overwhelm all the other ingredients. The banana taste was strong, but the other flavors were balanced out pretty well. This is definitely a high end shop. My small smoothie was more than $11, but I'm still glad I stumbled upon this gem for a healthy splurge. read more

I placed an online order for the West Village location by accident, after misreading the address and thinking it was a different location. I tried calling this location within seconds of placing the order. Their phones either don't work, or they never pick up. I've reached out to Juice Press' customer service by email, and by their form on their website. No response, and I'm still out almost 37 dollars for only TWO smoothies. I did understand I was getting a smoothie in NYC but you can also get the same if not better at a local bodega for about half the price. This isn't just a rating for this location but for the company. I used to be a HUGE juice press fan... from back in the day when they used to have the snarky labels. I would get a smoothie ever morning from this location when I used to work on 14th street. I live in LA and have for the last 4 years so I've missed the gradual decline of JP. I guess things started to go downhill when they got rid of the snarky labels... but even when I visited NYC two years ago they still had most of my favorite things. When I went in this time I was kind of shocked. They were carrying a ton of random snack brands that don't really seem to fit with JP ethos. The juices honestly all looked old and separated. Smoothie menu was super different. But most of all they got rid of the raw oatmeal?! That was THE juice press classic. I also couldn't find the kale salad. Why would you get rid of/ change two of your most popular items? Finally found some oatmeal but it looked super different. I asked the girl at the counter if it was the raw oatmeal and she just looked looked at me blankly and said "what?" And I tried rephrasing "are the ingredients in this raw?" She shrugs and goes "i dunno"... I know it's hard to find staff these days but... jeez. Also I got the oatmeal and it's completely different and made with rolled oats which are way less nutritious... basically instant oatmeal. Whole experience felt super downgraded from the old JP... but with the same high prices. The whole space looks like it could use a good scrubbing. Only giving them two straws because I like the straws they use and they gave me a large smoothie even though I ordered/ paid for a small. There has been times where I requested a certain drink, but they were sold out. But, the staff made sure when I came back for my next visit, the drink I requested was in stock. No matter what time or day, the staff is on top of things. Kareem, Dallaina, and Maia are thee best, hands down. They have always my visit rememberable, and better than the previous visit before! Tastes good, very friendly and helping staffs, and the good thing is that it opens till pretty late for a juice/açai bowls spot. A bit on the pricey side like Liquiteria is pretty pricey for a smoothie but sometimes I think it's worth it, but this is even more expensive than Liquiteria's smoothie with about the same ingredients. Decent sized and tables and seats inside so you can eat in or take it to go. They have ready made bottles in the fridge on the left side but you can order fresh ones. The Genius Blueberry tastes pretty good and my friend loved her matcha latte (iced). Walkable to the subway station and not hard to find. Good experience overall but not a place I'd frequent unless it's at night and I really want a smoothie but everything else is closed. read more

Use to come here all the time and got smoothies and they were so filling and nutritious... I tried going here twice in the last week and both times I went they served me large smoothies of green ice. It's was probably no more than one or two leaves of kale with a full cup of ice water.. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and considerate. If I had to complain about something--LOL--it would be that the seating is extremely limited. At times there is no place to sit or stand. I work in the neighborhood, and was frequenting my local TD Bank, when I noticed that this Juice Press was right next door. I was on my way to West Side Market to get a salad, but thought, I'll stop in here and get a smoothie instead. When I walked in there were two employees (a female & a male) at the register. I picked up a "cleanse menu" and realized it didn't have smoothies in it, so I asked the gentleman and lady at the register where I could find the juice menu. They both stared at me like I had 4 eyes, and the gentleman pointed to the juice menu with a look like, "is there something wrong with you?" on his face. I proceeded to stand directly in front of them and declare that I was looking for a good filling smoothie, hoping they would help me or walk me through the smoothie menu, but both continued to look down & say absolutely nothing. I found a few smoothies that interested me, but honestly, I did not feel welcomed at all, in fact they made me feel like I was an outcast. I put the menu down and walked to West Side Market, I should have never stepped foot in that place & never will again. Customer service is key for places like this, and from the reviews that I've already read here, this place is known for their TERRIBLE customer service. I will also tell everyone in my workplace about this experience, and to never go there. Management, if you even read this site (doesn't seem like you do), train your employees to smile & be helpful - you're definitely losing out on key customers because of the poor service. 1. The juices here are great--I love the green giant, the guru, and the cell rejuvenator. 2. However, I am so fed up. I order from here EVERY single day Mon-Fri when I'm working and without fail it takes 3 hours to get to me. I order at 5:30 and every night I am starving while waiting to get what is essentially my dinner and it arrives at 9:00pm (or later). That's outrageous. I would order earlier, but my work only allows us to order if we are going to stay past 8 and I never know until 5:30 if I will. I would order from a different fresh juice company but none of the others deliver, so I am forced to order from here because what can I say? I like freshly made smoothies and juice. I also appreciate the fact that the smoothies come in sealed bottles, so they're never leaking. Bottom line, please Juice Press, I'm begging you... the manager, the owner, or the person in charge, PLEASE help us get our order delivered within a reasonable time. 1 hour, I'll even take 2. We all want your establishment to succeed, you make great juices, but do you realize that you are driving your customers away by your obscenely long delivery times?
