    Protein Wellness Bowl

I'm convinced the protein bowl is the best kept secret of NYC - obsessed with the taste, texture and crunch. And I love how filling it is and the protein you get in for something that feels like a dessert!

REFRESHING!! My FAVE juice I got was the Citrus 2 | Apple Pineapple Lemon Juice - not pictured bc I drank it up right on the spot! It's a quick grab-and-go spot + all the juices are already made + stored in the fridge behind the counter - best consumed after 3 days of opening. The staff were extremely friendly and recommended juices for me to get based on what I was into. The ones they recommended were really delicious! I'm a bit taken aback at how sweet some of their juices are, but it didn't take away from quenching my thirst. It was my first time having Pressed + it's a solid place for a quick, relatively healthy, refreshing stop!

As a brand, I love Pressed Juicery and have been part of their VIP program for the last 2 years. The juices are fresh, tasty and there are always promos and interesting seasonal flavors. The freezes are phenomenal and a delicious less sweet alternative to regular soft serve, or even froyo. The reason for 3 stars is this location isn't on-par with the other locations in the city. 1. In the past, there was always some weird extra up charge at this location compared to every other location. Like certain promos would not apply, or a 4 for $18 deal advertised in an email would be a 4 for $20 at this location instead. They seemed to have gotten rid of this confusing aspect recently, and I find that the prices are more consistent now (which is what you'd expect to begin with...) 2. I've gotten packs of ginger shots here that were 3 days to expiration, and had to contact customer service after realizing. Granted they did issue a refund, it shouldn't really be on the customer to proactively check the dates on everything. 3. If the store gets busy, sometimes the order gets rung up with the wrong promo or no promo. I've scanned my vip qr code once and was still charged non-vip pricing somehow. Again, I had to contact customer service, and was refunded the difference. After that, I really started paying attention at the register to make sure things got rung up properly, which is a bit annoying.

My haul. Two juices, two shots, and candy kittens

I love Pressed ever since I tried their juice samples at the health fair at my work building. They are not easily available at just any store outthere, and one of the reasons I lately shop @ Eataly downtown (Ground Zero/Westfield mall location) is because they have some Pressed juices there. But today I was pleasantly surprised; an actual Pressed store in the Union Square/E 14th st area. It's more of a hole in the wall actually, but that's pretty much all you need. They got all different varieties of their fantastic juices and immunity shots. I ended up getting two juices, two shots, and kitten shaped candies (refer to my photo lol).

A huge thanks to Ciara! Came in last week and had a great experience thanks to her. She also recommended the immunity tonic and it got me righhhht. I also have to mention that I hadn't been here since 2016 and I felt at home as soon as I stepped my foot in the door.

Good juice. Very refreshing. I got the strawberry basil lemonade and I found it very easy to drink and not too acidic or strong in taste.

Get yourself a Freeze! I was convinced to try their freeze after receiving an offer for it in the email and I'm so glad I did. I ordered the strawberry freeze with granola, strawberry, and raspberry puree and it was super refreshing on a hot and humid day. Even though I was skeptical about liking the all-natural ingredients in the freeze, everything in it tasted fresh and similar to a sorbet rather than ice cream. I highly recommend it if you're in the area and I would love to come back and try their other flavors!

I always love coming to Pressed, a go-to for after a workout, dessert, or just wanting a snack. Since fhe ingredients are so good I always feel great after I eat it too! Their freezes are my favorite and I am so glad this location has them! (If only every location in the city did) This time we got the açaí freeze and the pumpkin freeze which were delicious. The pumpkin freeze was a little more grainy than the açaí but still good and had a strong pumpkin flavor.

Probiotic Shot cost $4 in-store versus $3 online

Editing to add: Apple TV was running a promotion where they gave out free juice duos, all you had to do was ask a Pressed employee at any of the NYC locations. Thought I would give this 14th St location another chance, but I seem to only have negative experiences at this location only. There were 3 employees working at this 14th St Pressed location on 3/18/22 @ 2pm. While the other two (a male and a female) employees were very kind, their other female coworker (shortest one out of the three of the employees) was visibly ROLLLLLING her eyes at every single person that came in asking for a juice duo. She also hesitated to give me my juice duo at first, but rolled her eyes yet again and turned her head away from me to toss the drinks in my direction. Apple TV paid for this promotion and these drinks, what's with this employee's attitude? Beware of this location's prices! Prices in-store are more expensive than if you were to order online or in-app. My juice would have only been $6.75 if I had ordered online, but came out to be $7.50. A shot that normally costs $3 came out to be $4. When I got home to see if these prices were reflected online, that's when I realized I would have paid less if I had ordered online instead. No transparency about the price difference, and no response from customer service. Not sure if it's only this location that sets their own prices? I visited a Pressed location near Madison Sq Park and their in-store prices reflected the online prices I thought Pressed's corporate team would have made all locations have the same prices.

Go for the happy hour!! 50% off bowls and freezes Mon-Fri 1-4pm (i don't know why it isn't better advertised - i saw it on a paper indoors but it seems like they don't promote it online much ¯\_(ツ)_/¯) I got the large classic bowl and it came out to 6.25 - that's suchhh a good price for a quality açaí bowl, which this was in every sense! Pressed juicery's toppings are always so quality, like they put the plumpest blueberries, and brightest strawberries, and they HEAPED on the goni berries that I requested as an add on The color of the açaí base wasn't as vibrant as I expected, but that didn't end up mattering at all!!Because it just means that they add a decent amt of milk - and it tasted SO good, so i don't care :))

Used to be the fan of pressed juice. Especially when I feel I need a deep clean. I was shopping nearby with my sister last weekend. I got the root with ginger as the staff recommended. I took a sip after checkout and regret that getting this flavor immediately. :( It tasted weird like sour and sweet old berry mix with spicy ginger. Yuk. No more. BTW- staff is friendly and I don't mean to blame them.

Once in a blue moon, I try to be healthy and drink my veggies. I heard a lot of good things about Pressed Juicery and I wanted to see what was the big deal. When I walk into the shop, I was greeted by a friendly cashier. She handled me a menu; however, I told her I wanted green. Who knew there were three types of green. I just shrugged and I said the first one. Let me tell you. If you ever wonder what grass taste like, order green. It was so bland and I don't know why people pay $6 to drink it. I went to another location and tried coconut cinnamon. It was delicious. The price for that one was $8.

There are different types of cold treats: gelatos and more slushie like consistency frozen confections that are served in a cup. My vegan friend appreciated that he could choose from multiple vegan flavors, not just be limited to the one and only offering, which is what most places usually have. Melon flavor was incredible. Tasted like frozen melon was crushed with ice and chopped into an ice/smoothie blend. Super refreshing. Very sweet, though. All flavors are very sweet, so a small portion can be shared and you will feel satisfied. I personally enjoyed their in-house special flavor of gelato: honey cream with crushed almonds, pistachios, and hazelnuts. That was bombastic! Love how nutty the consistency was. I love nuts, so this almost reminded me of a chunky peanut butter situation: just more fine grained and smooth, with gelato being the base. Highly recommend trying this flavor! Focacia was okay. A bit too dry and bland for my liking, but still decent. My favorite item was the pistachio bombolone which is officially now my favorite dessert. This was magnificent! The yeasty dough was so light and airy--perfectly light and balanced. The filling of pistachio cream was very delicate and not sweet at all, which was such a nice surprise. I do not like saccharine dessert. The fresh raspberry jam was a perfect balance to the pistachio cream. I never like jams in my desserts, but this was a perfect complement. Woooow, what a treat! Can't wait to return for it and to try more of their other flavors--hazelnut & chocolate, coconut, white chocolate, tiramisu. You could taste the superb quality of the ingredients. Highly recommend.
