I liked it so much I try to visit the various locations when I'm nearby. I can't wait for better weather and my energy and confidence to be restored so I can return. In the meantime, I recently attended a St. Patrick's Day PopUp. After taking two bottles of Pressed Veggie Juice home I found creative ways to include the juice in my meals. The service was good, friendly, and fast. Large selection of cold pressed juices, protein shakes, smoothies, and açaí bowls. Love the various shots of cold pressed juices that are sold as a single shot. There are tons of additional add on's., to further enhance your smoothie or juice. This was our last stop in New York before heading back to DC. This small juice bar is tucked away on the main level, near the matcha shop. The server was incredibly nice. I had never been to Pressed before and asked for her recommendation between the Blueberry Lemon Açaí and the Original. She kindly mentioned that both were great, but the Blueberry Lemon was a limited edition and definitely worth trying. She was absolutely right--it was delicious. The Blueberry Lemon Açaí was exactly what you'd expect: fresh açaí topped with blueberries, a lemon agave drizzle, and crushed lemon cookie-like granola. The blueberries were sweet and fresh, the lemon agave added just the right touch of tanginess without being overly citrusy, and the lemon crumble gave it a perfect granola-like finish. A great place to grab a smoothie bowl or juice before or after an Amtrak ride. I got there 15 minutes before my train, and there were 3 people ahead of me in line, but I was able to get my order within 7 minutes. Sadly, their menu no longer includes my go-to pitaya base, but the tropical base was also very delicious. I got the beauty bowl, and it was the perfect combination of sweet but not too sweet, filling as a snack and not too heavy, and filled with fresh and whole food ingredients. I was looking got something more on the fruity/yogurt side for breakfast while waiting for my train and was lucky that this spot didn't have much of a line. The space was super bright/clean and the staff was relatively friendly, although I will say that it was a little slow on creating the bowl I got. Overall though, the experience getting my bowl was pretty pleasant. I honestly thought what I had gotten would've been yogurt, but it was actually something closer to soft serve underneath the fruit and peanut butter - oops. Regardless though, it tasted really nice and the peanut bitter/bananas on top tasted super fresh. I ordered the beauty bowl and while the fruit was actually fresh and sweet (no complaints there), the bowl was practically empty. There was barely any of the actual base just a VERY thin layer at the bottom with a nice scoop of fruit on top. For the price, I expected a full, balanced bowl, not something that looked half-finished. If I wanted mostly fruit, I would've just grabbed a fruit cup. Love pressed juices, so I was happy when this opened in the Moynihan Train Hall! I usually book through the ClassPass App, so it's super quick. You just show them the confirmation online, and they bring you the drinks out immediately. I've never spent more than 2 minutes in there even if there are people in front of me. Drinks: - Elderberry Shot: Love this one! Reminds me of holiday flavors with the cinnamon and cloves in it. - Energy Shot: Has apple, lemon, matcha powder, and guayana powder in it! Tasty but I prefer the Elderberry one above. - Greens 1 (Cucumber Celery): Clean vegetable juice flavor - not sweet! - Greens 2 (Apple Lemon Kale): More sweet than Greens 1 because of the apples. I prefer Greens 1 usually. - Citrus 1 (Cucumber Pineapple): Less sweet than Citrus 2 but more sweet than the Greens juices. - Citrus 2 (Apple Pineapple Lemon): More sweet than Citrus 1 since this has apple and pineapple in it Service/Ambiance: Fast and efficient! I think this is a fairly new location as I haven't seen it before while walking through penn station. Located in Moynihan Hall, it's a small yet beautiful shop. The staff is super friendly and they have cute balloons (probably for that aforementioned opening). I got greens three, one of my favorite drinks (I'm pretty sure it's the most popular). They also said that if you download the app, you get a complimentary order. The juices are fun and easy to drink. They're super fresh and the prices are pretty good. The juices are what they're known for. I've tried a ton of flavors and they're all fantastic. Fun fact: I used to pick up my boss's juice cleanse drinks here on my way to work. Both her and I can attest- the juice cleanse works wonders (just by seeing how much she would drink of this stuff). Another fun fact: I got a greens 3 for my coworker for his birthday and he was deliriously happy about it. So another pro for Pressed-- a great gift. Overall: greens 3- a fantastic, easy, choice.
