My one complaint though is that it was almost too frozen and the kiwi on top was so bitter it made it inedible. Mine was not fresh at all and I ended up throwing a lot of them away :( Coconut Bowl [8/10]: I ordered this in March when I was obsessed with coconut. It had a perfect texture (def. silkier than acai) and it was so refreshing. But I couldn't finish the whole bowl because when I got to the bottom, it just became sweeter. Next time I might blend the coconut base with a sourer base (like acai or green). When this other customer and my friend got theirs, it was "to stay," as in no lid on the bowl. However for mine, it was given with a lid squashed on top, as if I wanted "to go." Except it made my bowl ugly and I wanted to take a photo, and I just don't know why this server girl assumed I was "to go" and my friend wasn't? As I ate, my friend and I both felt that the bowls were very cold. (Playa Bowls is an open store and it was like 52 degrees outside.) I found my bowl pretty icy too--almost like shaved ice--so I wanted extra almond butter to compensate for the texture and luckily, the server girl gave it to me.
