Small, no frills shop but satisfied my craving for a sweet treat after lunch! I had the Watermelon Lychee Slush with Boba, and it was delicious! The watermelon and lychee flavors were perfect together, and the boba was nice and sweet. If you want something a bit healthier, they had a bunch of juice and protein shake options as well. Very friendly service as well! They're cash only, but they take Venmo! read more

Lychee lemonade slush was amazing! Super refreshing after a walk on the bridge, and it was nice seeing through the little window all the fresh fruits and veggies for drinks. It's a small area inside with no seating really, just a stand, so not much of an ambiance. A little run down but I kinda liked the vibes for New York, and staff was super friendly and quick. Would definitely go back! read more

CASH ONLY Don't let its hole in the wall appearance fool you. There are actually healthy smoothie drinks and energy/immunity shots in here! Depending on when you go, there can be a crowd. You'd typically get your drink pretty quickly though. So far, I've tried the Brain Booster and Detox for Dinner, both of which tasted like they were made with real ingredients and filling. Would definitely come here again for tasty yet healthy drinks. read more

The most surprising spot my friends liked on our NY trip!! We were walking around and wanted to stop by for a drink, and this was the nearest smoothie location. We liked their smoothies so much we visited 2 more times after. Service was good and quick!! We got a some type of lychee smoothie (green) and a strawberry banana smoothie. When we went it was cash only, not sure if it's still like that. read more

Good place for bowls and smoothies near Chinatown. Hawa Smoothies is a small place where you can get freshly made fruit based items. It has pretty friendly and helpful service. Easy to order. There's the usual açaí stuff, common fruits, and some that are more unique. Because it's small it's only for carryout. It has lots of fresh fruit on display at the counter. They always use this in their bowls and smoothies. Never from frozen. On the wall is the fairly large menu. Many choices. Smoothies are of course the main thing. Bowls are a good choice if you're hungry. I like the açaí bowls with various ingredients on top. Always a good choice is the Original Açaí Bowl. It's $8 for the regular size. This comes with bananas, chia seeds, granola, mango, and strawberries. It's plenty enough to eat. They also have larger sizes that are just too much in both the amount of food and price. It has a convenient location on East Broadway. It's in Chinatown. This is across the street from the Essex and Seward Park station. read more

First time here! I ordered a Mango Passion Fruit Lychee with Boba. At first it was very sweet, but as you finish your drink you'd be thankful that it was. More Passion Fruit than Mango for sure! I could also say this is one of the most blended drinks I've had in a while. Unfortunately, this is a togo type of place thus the seating area is limited to 2 seats. The location is also sketchy, and easy to miss. I'd definitely come back here the next time I visit and dry an açaí bowl! read more

Tasty yet pricey. I feel like I ordered the wrong thing when I ordered the Pome Queen with Tapioca (medium) - $8. Next time, I want to go for a green smoothie or a juice as it seems to be what they are super known for. The pome queen had a small taste of avocado with the majority of the flavor coming from the pome juice. Not sure if date was able to be tasted. I would come back occasionally for one of the protein or peanut butter smoothies. Cash only and service is order, pay, and go. read more

Listen, I appreciate this place sooooooooo much! Lord knows that I am a advent customer and I diligently come into this shop religiously all of the time when I am downtown in the area. However, when I went this time around it wasn't great AT ALL. The service is always awesome and the workers are ALWAYS friendly. But I believe they let their guard down this time with preparation of my drink!!! It would be Amiss of me not to say this and post this picture of what I had in my drink. But something has to be done about the cleanliness of the situation. I can no longer go back to this place until the issue gets resolved. When my drink was being made I seen one of the workers drop the blender on the floor, well aren't you going to wash it out? I of course was looked at as if I was dumb. They made my drink with a clean blender however when I got home, I found a HUGE and LONG piece of metal in my milk drink. It was only until I got to the bottom I found that a huge ass piece of metal was sitting at the bottom!!! This isn't about "oh your not being nice ish either" this is about what is right and what is right for the customer!! And your establishment! I am dismayed and furious that something like this happened. I could have diet if it got lodged in my throat because I could not see through the drink and it was only until I got to the bottom I noticed. I will not long take my business here. I really loved this place, but I can't play with my health this way and sure as hell CANNOT play with my life. Please check your health standards and proper ally clean your utensils. Leave the metal out before you actually kill someone!!!! PERIOD. read more

Delicious smoothies. Probably the best smoothie place I've been. A small mom and pop shop but better than the big corporations. I can see the employees washing the fresh fruits right in front of me. They also have some unique offerings such as acai bowl and kale monster smoothies. Their hawa shake is my favorite here. It is delicious and contains good ingredients such as avocado, spinach and peanut butter. read more

Love them! best Açai bowl! not too sweet, but also has good taste. The workers are to the point but also kind. It's clean! just under broadway so a bit noisy, but that's honestly the only "down" side. It's also right next to the gym! So can get your work out in, or go to Walgreens right next door for any quick necessities read more

Pretty damn good all fruit and green smoothies available here. I've been craving my fix of something healthier since I've been out here vacationing this week. $7 for a medium sized cup or $8 for the large. Great place to come when in the area in the mood for a little pick me up...fresh smoothie, juice or bubble tea! Pretty big menu to choose from so take your pick! I've had their coconut milk tea and almond milk tea with grass jelly...Both are delicious but sometimes a little too sweet but still good! The matcha bubble tea is also good! Yum! prices here are about $1 or so cheaper than other places that I have been too. Small shop but the staff is friendly and service is quick! The hours are pretty convenient too if you are on the run early or after work in the area! Can't wait to try some of the other items on the menu... read more

Got my kiddos a couple of bubble teas here after dim sum recently. My six-year-old is compelled to order for himself always. He walked right up to the counter and put in his request for mango, lychee, passion fruit tea with lychee jelly. The man working there didn't flinch. He listened then gently repeated my son's order back perfectly. My daughter then ordered her mango tea with tapioca bubbles. The orders came up quickly, and the drinks were reasonably priced. Their teas were more like smoothies, but they enjoyed them just the same. Sweet place - will definitely keep it on my bubble tea map. read more

Almond butter acia bowl is LIFEEEEE!!!! Delicious i have not found any other place that does their acia like hawa.

5stars for delicious smoothies and acai bowls. Service is always accurate. It's very good but just no place but the park across the street to sit down and enjoy it all! Walking around eating an acai bowl is not easy. Wish you have a small table or bench outside your establishment especially for sunny days. Lines can be long but omg the smoothies are so tasty always! Only two stools inside-Limited tight seating; otherwise it's 5 stars for the taste and service! My children and I have tried so many flavors here and they're all delicious. The one pictured is a mango lychee. Prices are reasonable. This one was around $5.50-$5.75. I forget since their prices went up recently. Cheaper than a Starbucks drink or boba tea places which run around $7 and this is healthier too. I love Starbucks and boba tea locations but this is a healthier option! Worth it for fresh fruit which I see them stock up on all the time in their basement fridge. Bring CASH! read more

The açaí bowl with almond butter is everything here. This is a tiny hole in the wall place where beautiful delicious healthy drinks and smoothies are made. It's practically the only healthy juice place in the lower east side. They are super quick and not overly expensive for NYC. It's a great way to start off your day with a yummy açaí smoothie or bowl. It's filled with granola, fruits like strawberries and bananas topped with chia seeds and coconut flakes and of course creamy gooey almond butter. Just the way I love it! read more

What is with this place? OK, I have come here on several occasions. First time, I asked for low sugar in bubble tea drink. I got a Yes, but they completely ignored my request. Second time, I asked for low sugar, was told they can't do that, it is pre-mixed. Third time, I didn't say anything about sugar content. And when the guy handed me the drink, he said "no sugar right?" And then he laughed. No difference in taste. Fourth time, I just asked for a medium-sized bubble milk tea iced, and then the guy over the counter asks, "no sugar right?" And I was like whatever. Tasted the same as the ones before. So basically your requests about sugar level in milk teas will be ignored, but they will continue to harass you about it. And I keep going back, I am a glutton for punishment. Wtf. read more

I love my smoothies as much as the next person. That being said, this smoothie was extra THICK and flavors really stood out. I ordered a large or medium since the other option was to go small. Who the eff goes SMALL on drinks? So a large Acai Smoothie with bubbles (50 cents extra) it is. It came out to $6.50 but certainly wasn't worth $6.50. $4 TOPS. But the service was quick as the store was empty when I walked in. I had the option of adding bubbles. I was in the area. P.S. - The Asian people that walk in this part of Chinatown is as bad as they drive maybe WORSE. Stopping and pausing to look at pigeons. CRASH. Stopping to scratch their calf without moving to the side. WHAT THE FU-K? Stopping to stare at a hot girl walking by and then turning their heads to check out the booty while running into you. I have done that before but while crossing the street? How horny do you have to be to do that? VERY. Intentionally walking in the middle of the sideway going at a snail's pace. And then having another person doing the same at a little quicker pace so that your only maneuver is to walk in the streets to cut in front of them. Someone slap these folks. I should. read more

The juices are just delicious!! Get one and go sit in nearby Seward Park to enjoy on a warm day. But it is cash only so come prepared!

Had milk tea here while passing taking a nice stroll through chinatown in the hot NY summer heat. Not bad at all, but just A-OK. I asked for my black milk tea to be half the sugar, but it was still a bit sweet for my taste. I like to taste more of the black tea than the milk, but theirs was more milk. I guess that's personal preference. My other reason for 3 stars was that there was WWAAYY too much ice to milk tea ratio. I felt like I paid for the ice, rather than the milk tea. Although since the tea was sweeter than I had liked, ice was a welcomed guest as it melted into water. Either way, cute little place and taste wasn't that bad. I give a-ok with a shrug. read more
