ALERT! This DoorDash delivery guy followed me into the store, stood @ register to watch, trailed me back out & I don't feel safe
    Food Belly S.

Hello there Jason B., there is no need to refund me for anything. I appreciate that I was able to "park" my bags at no extra cost, that was truly gracious of the establishment to allow me that privilege. Though, my complaint was never with the establishment, it was with my experience with Michal at the register. And I do appreciate you pointing out that there is a charge for the bag, I was unaware of that. So I am thanking you for pointing that out. I did not know what Michal was doing on their side, I wasn't thinking about it at the time of the transaction, and I had no issue with being asked to run the card 2 or 3 times. Those are all normal interactions that occur several times throughout one's day, and therefore should not be on any individual's radar for things that provoke one to assess another as having a race-based biased. Michal is clearly not telling you what he/she/they said, how they said it, and they are also not telling you that the statement that I made as I left was, "I'm sorry I upset you." Actually, I may have said it twice if I recall. Because Michal was CLEARLY upset and I wasn't sure if it was about to have some kind of breakdown. He/she/they were literally shaking. And this is the reason that everyone was looking at me. Because I'm sure it was quite awkward - the CUSTOMER apologizing for being on the receiving end of mistreatment while the cashier is throwing attitude like I stepped on his/her/their toes somehow. Don't take my word for it though, ask them all! You got them on surveillance, ask each and every one of them. They will tell you. The experience left me feeling so down that I actually apologized to Michal for Michal's terrible journey that day, that led him/her/they to the exact moment that he/she/they felt the need to try their best to ruin mine. At the end of the day I do appreciate the establishment's effort to address that one issue. As I mentioned, outside of that one interaction, I have always shopped at Lifethyme with no complaints.

I would like to thank Jason district manager and the CEO of Life Thyme for hiring Lyn. She is such a asset to the store. Whenever i ask her something about health, she gives me the truth. With the science to back it up. She really takes her job serious. And she has the passion behind everything she does. I highly recommend her for a promotion.

I've been coming here for years, after today I can not justify spending my money here any longer. The staff is rude and the prepared shelves are usually empty. I purchased their Raw Lasagna and they went up in price, I was okay with that until I opened the package. Two strips of zucchini MAX and the rest was a bunch of nuts, no sauce either. Gross. Higher prices along with poor quality is straight disrespectful. People actually enjoy this? Waste of money.

I tried to apologize saying I don't live in the area have never been there before and just walked in after a Doctors appointment because I didn't feel well. The guard and the owner/ manager continued to harass me and continiued to rant saying they caught me on video camera last week. Insanity!!! I will never ever set foot in that shop again and hope nobody experiences this. So glad I do not live anywhere near this awful store!

They also have a vast amount of goodies, specifically chips, cookies and candy from Japan, Korea and China. There is also a section with stationary items and toys for all ages. The market has a small seating area which is great for grabbing a quick bite or soft serve ice cream, in my case, near the ice cream station. I love black sesame ice cream and put my colleague on to it, and she loved it as well. It was a nice treat on a hot 80 degree day in NYC. This space is in a great location in Cobble Hill, not far from transit and shops. The best part is it's clean and well lit. Will return to try some of their prepared foods and packaged salty items.

Hashi feels like an actual grocery store with aisles of Asian goods. While it's still a bit pricey, it's the next best thing without traveling to Chinatown. Plus, you get 50% off at Fujissa located inside with $10+ purchase at Hashi Market (just show your receipt when you order). And don't miss out on the 50% off discount after 7pm for the hot foods/sushi, which is an hour earlier than Ten Ichi Mart.
